Would you allow your suppliers to use your photos for marketing?

hi ! ask ko lang if you guys are comfortable na gamitin ng suppliers ninyo ang wedding ninyo na peg para sa marketing nila (ex sa FB, instagram or sa mga wedding expo)?

May mga sample contracts kasi ako nakita from potential suppliers na nakasulat na parang part of signing the contract is that the client agrees na gamitin ang photos/ video ng wedding as part of their marketing campaign.

Comfortable ba kayo if your suppliers do that?

May ganyang clause din sis yung wedding venue ko so okay na lang din samin kasi we really wanted that place. So after a few days naka upload na sa fb account nila yung wedding setup namin. Though cameras and shots are from the venue staff, I know na event naman namin yun so sana kami pa din masusunod. Pero no choice din kami hehe kasi nasa contract and yun talaga venue choice namin.

i won't mind. as long as happy kami sa service nila. yun nga lang, nasa contract na agad bago mo pa malaman kung magiging happy ka or hindi haha. ayoko lang before and after photos sa hmu! hahaha!

ako, ayoko. pinapaalis ko talaga yung clause na yun sa contract.  it's a private affair. it's my wedding.

I paid them for the service.They dont pay me for the photos/videos for their collateral.

I find it off lang na nakikita ko sa ibang suppliers sa fb na nagpopost ng "just signed a contract with soon to be couple so and so" tapos naka post ang mukha ng couple. ang daming ganyan sa soon to weds na fb group.

^ i agree with you sis reena. it's a private affair and we pay for their service. Ayaw ko din kaya lang  nalimot ko na patanggal sa contract and hindi naman ganun kabig deal so ok na din:)

For me no big deal as long as maganda ang naging serbisyo nila during the time na client nila kami. Di ba nakakaproud din yun kasi ibig sabihin may "something" sa inyo kaya ginamit for marketing purposes? Just my opinion mga sis.

for me okay lang... they won't post all the details of your event naman and some won't even post it at all.

namimili din sila ng ng mga certain weddings for their portfolios.

luckily, sa wedding namin, videos lang yung naka-upload sa internet and some photos we uploaded on our wedding site. :p

i saw one wedding supplier sa "soon to wed" na pagkapirma na pagkapirma ng couple ng contract, naka post na agad sa fb ng supplier yung picture ng couple together with the contract

For me, parang ayoko especially sa HMUA yun mga before and after pics. I appreciate seeing the before and after pics pero parang ayoko na makita mukha ko sa ganoon. Hahahah..  Tsaka ang FB nga namin naka-private tapos mega post naman ang suppliers.

For P&V, SDE, some photos with our approval, okay lang.

Not a big deal as long as it's written in the contract and/or they've asked for permission from us.

I won't mind if gamitin ng suppliers ang photos namin for their portfolio. Sa P/V team namin, may clause na ganon sa contract na they can use daw for marketing. For me, no biggie about it. In the first place, I got their service dahil nagandahan ako sa portfolio nila.

For us, we wouldn't mind. It would actually be an honor if our photographer and videographer would use our materials for marketing as they are our top suppliers not to mention our first choice

I don't see any problem with it, as long as magpaalam sila ng maayos

For me, okay lang kung ipopost lang sa social media nila.
Pero kapag iyong tarp levels, parang hindi masyado pero dahil iyon sa nahihiya akong makita iyong mukha ko nang ganon kalaki hehe
