Reception - originally 10k pero naghanap siya na makakaibigan niya sa loob 3k lang binayaran niya
Catering niya - 35k for 100 pax (pork, chicken, beef, vegies, desserts, unli beverages)
Event Coor - free, sister ng bride at yung friend ko
Flowers - 5k
Gowns and Entourage clothes - 30k
photobooth, lights and sounds - 8k
invitations and giveaways - 3k (DIY and all materials from divi)
Venue Styling - 3k
Photo video - 7k
Ceremony and Reception 1 place lang

Hi everyone!  It's my first time to post here. I'm a bride to be who has a small budget for my church wedding with my bf of 4years 

Pwede po bang manghingi sa inyong lahat ng advice? As far as budgeting goes, mga 170-180k lang talaga ang kaya namin ni bf, good for 150 guests. So far, eto ang mga nakausap kong suppliers:

VJ Timeline events: 100K for an ALL-IN package (kasama catering for 100pax, clothes & flowers ng entorurage; package excludes hotel, church & reception venue)
Tanghalang Pasigueño: 10K for venue rental (na libre kahit lumagpas kami ng 4 or 5 hrs! oh db  ) 

Nakausap ko na yung isa sa mga coooridnator ng VJ Timeline, at sabi naman nya na CUSTOMIZABLE yung packages nila. So ibig sabihin pwede akong magdagdag-bawas sa package para mai-stretch namin yung package at ma-accommodate yung goal naming 150 guests. Kasi wala pa ngang bayad sa hotel, church at reception venue di ba

Sa tingin nyo ba, tama yung ginagawa ko?  Or do I need a really good planner para makamit yung goal namin na 170-180k lang ang total expenses namin?

^Hi sis, there is a thread here for weddings under 150k, that might be useful to you. Kaya naman wedding under your budget, it really all depends on your preferences and priorities. But most brides i think regardless of budget try to book individual suppliers than rely on an all-in-one package, just for safety, para if you have suppliers that do not deliver as planned, at least hindi lahat. Just my opinion.

^Agree with sis sparklingjewel sis missquixote. If you can search and book a supplier separately, i think it would be better. You'll be having a freedom to choose, unlike dun sa naka package na.

My response:
Nothing is better than giving yourself the gift of choice. While you may be on a budget, for sure, you also have priorities (a great program, awesome photos, a heartfelt video, delicious food, etc.), join ‪#‎weddingsatwork‬, research online, communicate with your prospective suppliers, and book them on your own.
Put together the team that best fits your personalities as bride and groom, and matches your budget. (If you'd rather go for a package, then get to know the suppliers who will be included in the package so you can check if they are going to fulfill your expectations.)
Remember: one size doesn't always fit all; when something seems too good to be true (or too low priced to be of good quality), then it most likely won't fulfill your expectations.

missquixote, another note on getting an all-in package: if you decide to go for that make sure you know and are comfortable with each and every item included. I've read stories na couples get a package but after making the initial deposit, they realise the stuff they want are add-ons pala and they need to pay extra.

It depends on personal preferences talaga. I'm a firm believer that the best decisions made are always armed with info. GT's been a godsend to me and there are threads for almost every topic you can think of.  You can list down the suppliers you see/find interesting and work your way towards deciding between packages and individual suppliers.

missquixote agree with everyone here. although if you choose the package, you may ask as well if there are other suppliers for that. then check their work separately and ask what includes their usual stand alone vs what's included in the package. i learned my lesson on that for my l&s and i think i was better off booking a totally new supplier than keep upgrading what's in the package inclusions.

i've seen a caterer from rizal i think which charges around 200-350 per pax. so i think even if you don't go with the package you can still meet your budget and gives you the option to choose your own suppliers.

sis missquixote IMO, yung 170-180k, for 100pax attainable yan kahit separately mo ibook yung suppliers. mas matrabaho lang kasi you will scout for suppliers separately. but in the end, i think you would feel much better kasi ikaw mismo yung namili ng gusto mo na within your budget. kapag packaged kasi, less stress nga, pero baka naman sa big day mo ikaw ang mastress. mahirap din sa tingin ko ang packaged kasi yung coordinator mo ang may hawak ng all areas, PV, cater, flowers, gowns, styling? parang sa tingin ko mejo mahirap ipull off yun. unless they have been in the business for 10+ yrs. just my 2 cents.

maybe you can try to budget accordingly, you can adjust as you wish:
10k - location venue
50k - 500/pax food
50k - PV
20k - church fee
30k - wedding gown, entourage dress
5k - hotel preps
10k - simple flower setup / bouquet
10k - OTD

Original plan namin ni H2B is to get a package tapos everytime we find one palagi namin nari realize na may part ng package na hindi namin gusto and ayaw din naman namin just say yes kung may hindi kami gusto so ayun we decided to just scout for separate suppliers mas enjoy naman siya so far

Agree with you sissies, though we learned it the hard way. Initially, fiance and I booked an All-in Package and already paid them the deposit. Since all-in sila, medyo malaki agad sya. Buti nanigurado muna kami, parang trial. We asked them first to book our chosen venue and church before we make the next payment at yon pa lang di na nila nadeliver ng maayos. We requested for it right after the deposit was paid and siguro almost 2months bago nila nasecure. At buti I have contact with the venue, I asked them to pencil book for me first habang di ba nakakapag-depodit si All-in. Though naging ok naman at naireserve nila kami, kahit late, it's really frustrating to wait and follow-up again and again kung ok na. Na-break agad ang worry-free promise which is the reason why we take them, so we ended up cancelling the package. Buti na lang the they allowed us to use the deposit for one of their services. Sana madeliver naman nila yon ng maayos. Sorry, napahaba ang kwento. 

Basta double check it sis, better if you can get the details of their tie-up suppliers. So you can check directly with them kung ano ng status. Usually separate naman lahat ng suppliers na yon and sino-source out lang nila.
