Okay din sis sa province man or sa manila kasi yung wedding documents maliit na portion lang naman ang need mo na spend. Then pwede na intimate gathering lang talaga with family and some close friends. Okay din if sa resto ang reception. May restos na you can reserve a few tables lang. My friend did that, I think Jade Palace name ng resto. Around 2 to 3k per table of 10 pax.

^ ooh i know that place, malapit lang ako dyan
nung nag estimate kasi ako ng guestlist, andami talaga na dapat nasa list na taga Manila. Yung tipong nag-aabang sa wedding mo, at ang hirap magtimbang sino kasama at sino left-out. If sa malayo, maiintindihan nila even other relatives na family ang prio mo papuntahin.

And dun din kami kasi nag meet ni h2b kaya super memorable for both of us kung sa lugar nila.

Ayun naman pala sis may memories kayo doon hehe don't worry about sa guest list. Ganun talaga we can't have them all. Sila din naman if it's their turn na, as much as they want to invite all para everybody happy, it doesn't always follow talaga. Ako din naman nung wedding ko konti lang invited ko na friends and co-workers mostly immediate family ko lang.

Same sentiment mga sis, kaya yun place of wedding namin out-of-town tapos may significance sa relationship namin ni h2b.

Sagot namin transportation and accommodation ng immediate families, total 170k pero kung wedding lang 130k ang all-in budget.

We originally budgeted 350k for 100 guests. But now that things are materializing already parang di pa kami aabot ng 250k. Kaya natutuwa ako Hehe.

We're splurging on our reception food and venue, plus accommodation since my partner's family are coming from the north pa (south wedding kami), all others tipid mode na. I can't believe na nakabook kami ng lights and sounds supplier na 3.5k lang Our p/v offered lots of freebies so yung mga miscellaneous like lcd projector and photobooth covered na nila. We didn't want a photobooth initially but since they're giving it for free so why not. Nakakatuwa. Sipagan lang talaga sa pag search ng murang suppliers in the end, pare parehas lang naman ang kakalabasan nyan -- you're still getting married to your dream man.

Suggestion lang for those having their wedding outside metro manila, try searching for local suppliers to save on OOT fees, at the same time tulong nyo na din sa mga nagbubloom pa lang sa mga local suppliers.

i agree with you, simang! our local wedding industry is also booming and my own coordinator, who also styles, can compete with manila-based suppliers

^ang galing naman sis simang. madalas yung sinet mo na budget, pag papalapit na ng papalapit, magiging halos 150% or magiging doble, pero ikaw malayo pa sa sinet mong budget. i think nagkausap tayo regarding sa PV na 24 frames dati, did you get them?

i agree. sipag lang sa pag research ng affordable but quality suppliers. and most importantly, stick to your budget. prioritize.

^ganun din ginawa ko nung wedding namin, marami kami kinuhabg supplier na taga malapit or same city lang tsaka yung mga naguumpisa pa lang or hindi sikat. advantage nito less oot fees to pay, tsaka mas natututukan nila ang wedding mo dahil hindi ganun karami ang clients na binabalanse.

Reading your comment sis yannuh, fionaapple and simang dina ako magbabago ng isip for my photographer. Wala ako alam sa mga picture picture, pero yun na-shortlist kasi namin natutuwa ako sa mga creative shots niya, concern ko lang sa portfolio niya parang wala pang 10 yun nandun since 2012 siya nagstart magventure sa wedding photography. So I am torn between getting a photographer na madami na naging clients and this one. Ang difference 9k. Ang mahal! 9 heads ko na sa food yun.

So now, final na. Hindi na ako magbabago ng isip. Same pa rin naman I will still be getting married to my dream man

^share ko lang sa'yo sis. nung kinuha ko photographer ko, gut feel lang pinairal ko. iisa pa lang ata yung naging client nila. nag inquire kami about sa rates tapos nakipag-meet. budding photographer pa lang noon yung photographer namin. Happy Couples PH. nakakuha ako ng magandang rate kasi startup pa lang sila, pero kinuha pa rin namin sila kasi nakita namin maayos sila kausap sa kabila nang baguhan pa. 11,500 lang ang rate nila, 3 photographers na yun. wala nga lang album since wala pa kasi sila katie-up na gagawa. pero okay lang kasi easy lang magpagawa ng album. maganda rin ito kasi makakatulong ka sa mga nagsisimula pa lang sa industry. tingnan mo lang mabuti kung professional ba sila kausap. tsaka maayos yung output. goodluck sis!

^thanks sis. Maayos naman siya kausap and nung nag-meet kami personally I feel he is professional and maayos ang output. Dun lang talaga sa number of clients ako nagkaroon ng concern and when I asked my videographer for recommendation hindi siya yun nasabing name. Anyways, final na. I won't change. Will sign the contract na pag-akyat namin ng Baguio.

Thank goodness hindi pa kami nag eexceed ni H2B from our target budget. we let go of some nice to have items para hindi mag exceed.

Mas gusto kasi namin yung may matitira pang budget for us after the wedding. Ayaw namin umasa lang sa mga magbibigay ng money on our wedding day pero kung meron eh di ok.

now that's good thinking kami  din, focus sa savings para makabili narin ng house..
so far sis, di pa ako sumosobra sa budget.. kaya lang since bumababa ang exchange rate, we need to adjust.

Hello! We're just trying to get started with a 2017 wedding (hopefully). May I ask if malaki ba ang difference ng about 250 guests sa Manila or 150+ guests out of town (maybe Tagaytay)? If ever kunyari 400k budget?

^ depende sa suppliers mo pwede ka kumuha ng suppliers na South-based para mas malaki tipid mo, since walang out of town fee. It really depends on your budget sis. I suggest you set a budget and scout for potential suppliers and make an estimate from there.

^Salamat sis! Baka around 400k kasi, so depende dun yung headcount namin. But I've been lurking and ang laki din pala ng photo/video, depende sa kukunin! We were thinking of splurging more on food and the general ambiance sana, pero nawala sa isip ko photo lalo na videos!
