^ if wala kasing product it would be downright illegal and the company wouldn't be allowed to operate. the product is there to make it look like there's a legit sale and make it pass as 'not a ponzi scheme'. It's a loop hole. Substance over form applies here. A red flag would be if the price of the product is speculative (ie overpriced). You can check the price of gold per gram or oz in the market (http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/commodities/futures/metals/). If you paid too much for it, that's a red flag.

Another red flag is to know where the return came from. If substantially most of it came from the money or investment of people who will join after you. It is, in substance, a ponzi scheme.



PS. Gold doesn't appreciate that fast.

My officemate is investing in this. She invested 2k ng una and got 7k and nung 2nd investment niya 14k ang return.

Dapat sabay kami magmumutuaL funds pero dinelay niya and instead dito na lang daw siya magiinvest. Ang kagandahan daw is hindi siya nagaaya at hindi nagbebenta ng products. True enough, wala siyang kabalak balak yayain kami and she's actually very secretive about it dahil daw ayaw niya makarinig sa mga tao na scam yan or baka daw maging interesado tapos pag sinali niya at walang nakuha siya daw masisisi.

I was only able to find out from her dahil tinanong ko bakit dinelay niya pagmumutual funds so she reluctantly explained this to me. Mejo nagets ko naman ng konti and actually parang gusto ko rin pero ako kasi habit ko pag may hindi ako alam or hindi ko maintindihan, todo research ako.

Found out several things about it that discouraged me and I told my officemate about this ayaw niya makinig sakin kasi kumikita na siya ng pera. Okay lang sana kung one time investment lang pero she is investing na every time dahil syempre kumikita na and truth be told nakakaengganyo nga naman lalo na pag matindi pangangailangan mo.

Kinwento ko pa sakanya yung sabi ng friend ko na financial adviser tungkol sa emgoldex. Naku wala talaga. What convinced her more is that all the people in her team were her classmates back in college and kumikita daw. Meron pang naghulog ng 36k ang balik is 180k.

Sinabi ko na hindi siya long term investment kasi nga umaasa siya sa investments ng tao and pag wala ng tao na nagiinvest or kumonti na wala ka na rin kikitain.

Sana matauhan yung officemate ko,nasisilaw na kasi eh and single mom siya struglling with her finances so I'm trying to understand her.. Naiinis na rin sakin dahil nga sinasabi ko na ganun.. I tried pero sana nga matauhan na sila.

Yes sis totoo naman yan kasi, hindi naman "daw" lang yung mga kumikita dito, tamo ngayon tahimik na naman ang media about it kasi wala naman silang mapatunayan. Marami na ang kumita ng 180k, sa team lang namin is around 15-20 persons per week ang kumukuha nyan. I'm actually not trying to defend Emgoldex, kasi wala namang dapat idefend. And ngayon yung One Lightning na naman ang tinitira ng SEC lol. Try nyo pag aralan yung marketing plan ng Emgoldex, maganda talaga sya. And marami ng natulungan.

Walang pinagkaiba yan sa Aman Futures and Multitel. Naglagay lang ng "gold" kuno para may product. Stay away from this. However, the problem is that once you're in and you're earning, mahirap na tumiwalag kasi manghihinayang ka sa "kinikita" mo. If you're outside looking in at nakikita mo yung mga kakilala mo na "kumikita" you wouldn't want to get left behind  so sasali ka.

But the hard reality is that this is a Ponzi scheme which will eventually self-destruct.

Stay away from Ponzi schemes sisses. Our family lost a lot of money with Multitel before. The sad part was that my mom didn't tell us she joined. We only later discovered when Rosario Baladjay got arrested.

as has already been said, a pyramid scheme seems to do well at the beginning but it will collapse as the years go by when "new investors" start dwindling and no new money is coming in. in cases like this, only time will tell. like what a previous poster said, let's see after a couple of years if emgoldex is still going.

Kaya sila nag-eexpand sa iba-ibang countries to prolong the saturation of the market. Questions to ask:

Kapag ba walang nag-invest na bago, kikita ka pa? Are you comfortable that the money you're getting came from the payments of people that invested after you? As I see it mala-paluwagan ito e. Literally do the math on where the money is coming from. What company would pay people who are just sitting on their asses doing nothing other than give 2,000 or so pesos.

This thing is designed na tumagal to give the impression na walang kalokohang nangyayari.

I learned Emgoldex from an FB friend. She's getting a lot. Unfortunately she ignore warnings from her friends.

I am counting the days when she will tell the world through her blog that this company is a scam.

It's just too good to be true.

High risk, high reward.

Sometimes I do like to get involve in a risky investment due to high rewards, kaya lang for this one, hindi kaya ng konsensya ko na isipin na yun galing lang naman ang binabayad ng Emgoldex is from the people who invested after.

I have been into dozens of similar schemes before. I was young. I didn't know anything. Wala pang internet to learn about these kind of investments, or if there is, they are just starting up. And I lost thousands of money. They pay at the beginning, so these things seemed legit. But if you are not good with the timing of these schemes, you might lose it all and even go negative in the end.

Lahat, as in lahat ng mga pinaginvestan ko of similar nature - wala na! Hindi naman ako yumaman. In fact, negative pa nga ang kinita ko eh.

Simple lang ang mga schemes noon and they existed decades ago pa. It's just that these investments get a bit complicated (like having a product alongside, like in the case of Emgoldex, actual gold) but their main focus is to get new investors.

para kasing same sila eh. pero may product na binibenta yung sa one not sure sa emgoldex. an officemate lures me in joining and naeengganyo nga ako. kaso may mga lumalabas sa net (gmanews at sec sites) na warning. does anyone knows about it? please let me know

If the newspapers and sec do release warnings, then you have to take those warnings seriously. SEC won't go out of the way just to send false warnings via the media and website.

A simple google search too, should make it clear to you how other (forums), financial bloggers and social networking sites think about these kinds of investments.

Binasa ko ulet SEC warning sa Emgoldex. Compared sa One Lightning na may cease and desist order na pinalabas na. "Warning" lang yung sa Emgoldex. Self restraint sa paginvest ang tinutukoy sa SEC website. Wala naman ako nabasa so far na tinuturo na nilang pyramiding.

pero kung compare naman sa kitaan ng dalawa. Sa One Lightning totoo yung NO NEED TO RECRUIT talaga sa shares nila. Sa EMGOLDEX naman sa nakikita ko mga sample nila kahit SOLO ACCOUNT ka you need TO RECRUIT 2 PEOPLE. Dun nakakaturn off.

I've learned about EMGOLDEX through my officemate kasi yung pinsan niya may nakuha na na return. Last February siya "bumili" ng share and ngayong April, nakuha niya na yung kita niya from their team. Dapat daw one month lang talaga meron na pero since konti pa lang sila dun sa team na nagi-invest kaya umabot ng two months. I'm still having doubts tsaka ayaw din pumayag ng bf ko na maglabas ako ng money dito since walang assurance.

Dun sa mga nagpo-post dito na nagwi-wish na "scam" nga tong EMGOLDEX para "matauhan" yung mga friends niyo, wag naman po sana tayong ganun. Discretion naman na nila yun di ba and to each his own And if ever dumating yung time na tama yung hinala niyo regarding this company then pwede niyo ng pagsabihan yung friends niyo xD

^actually sis ang timeframe talaga ng Emgoldex to get  your rewards, max is 3 months, yun eh dun sa mga sobrang tamad maginvite talaga hehe pero meron samen 2 weeks lang umexit na sya 36500, you get 180k in 2 weeks.
