Acne after getting off the pill

Mga sis any of you who experienced getting acne after mag stop ng birth control pill? I've been on the pill for like 13 years na and mag stop na ako sana. Nag stop na ako nung minsan pero sobrang nag erupt mga pimples. Natatakot ako since alam kong ganun na naman mangyayare pero gusto ko na talaga mag stop. Sa mga ganun din ang na experience pano ginawa nyo para madiminish yung outbreak? Or may ginawa ba kayong prep bago kayo mag stop? Salamat in advance sa mga mag reply.

^i'm on the pill for almost a year (because of acne problems), then I decided to stop kase wala ng breakouts for a very long time. Ayun, after a month naglabasan ulit. So I'm taking pills again now.

Aww so sis bumalik ka na lang ulit sa pill? Ako kase gusto ko na umalis sa pill. Ayaw ko na din kase maging dependent sa kanya. Ayaw ko naman kase na habang buhay ko na sha itake. Kaso nga lang maglalabasan talaga pimples ko kaya naghahanap ako ng kahit papano sana mababawasan yung paglabas nya. Yung hindi ganun kadrastic kase naranasan ko na. As in nagwawala talaga sila

No choice. Ive actually tried a lot of options na (nag roaccutaine pa ko for a time). Consulted several dermatologists, tapos pills lang pala katapat.

Naisip ko for 600 pesos a month, not bad na. Mas mahal  pa mga meds from derma.

Haaay nalulungkot naman ako. Nag consult na ako sa derma ko, na mag stop na ako sa pill. Sabi nya try ko na lang daw na mag tetralysal. Kaso wary ako kung tatalab. Kase grabe nga once tumigil sa pill eh

I think wala talagang way na maiwasan maglabasan ulit yung pimples after getting off pill. But I've heard eventually mawawala rin naman after 2-4 months.

It is a possible outcome once magstop ka magtake ng pills and I guess case to case basis yung severity ng pimple outbreak, but it is possible na after a couple of months e magsesettle down yung skin mo.  I know that's not much of a consolation, nakakainip and nakakainis nga naman pag may breakouts.  Don't know if this will work for you guys, but you can try using topical treatments like applying clindamycin solution, tea tree oil, benzoyl peroxide, adapalene, tretinoin, etc. while waiting for your skin and hormones to calm down.

Nung unang nag stop ako edi ayun naglabasan na nga sila. Pinagamit ako ng derma ko ng tretinoin but sadly allergic pala ako sa tretinoin kaya sorry na lang ako. Ang dami na ngang cystic pimples nangapal pa yung facial skin ko tapos with burning sensation saka sobrang itchy and scaly. Nakaka trauma talaga. After mag subside yung allergic reaction ko sa tret nagpa cortisone shot ako para umimpis yung mga bwisit na angry pimples. Siguro mga around 20 yun. Grabe para akong hihimatayin sa hirap and sakit. Bumalik ulit ako sa pag take. Tapos eto gusto ko na talaga mag stop sa pills kase masama na din sa health. Kailangan ko na talagang harapin yung paglabas ng mga pimples.

I stopped na nung January. And this month nagpimples na ako. I decided to stop kasi super dami ko ng varicose veins. Weird nag pimples ako simula i hit 30's dati wala naman. Cystic ba sa inyo? Buti sa akin hindi na naman pero dumadami. What i'm using right now sa face local obagi...ok naman nagdadry kaagad pimples pero di stop. Glutathione pills ba ok sa pimples?

nung nag stop ako nun sis yes cystic yung lumabas. mag stop na ulit ako this march. ubusin ko lang yung pack ko ngayon kaya im expecting na sa haharapin kong breakout. actually ngayon pa lang nagsisimula na maglabasan dahil sa stress sa kakaisip haha.

I?ve been on the pill for about 8yrs on and off. No matter what product I use (proactiv, rejuv sets ng ibat ibang brand, peels, derma sessions, korean skincare, home made remedies) wala silang laban sa genes ko. I stopped taking diane around may and ang kinis na niya pero this month balik nanaman sa dati so nagttake nanaman ako ng pills. Forever na ata ito

Nangyari din sa akin 'to. That's why I never want to take the pill again (well, unless I need it for health reasons siguro). Gusto ko rin siyang tine-take before to control acne, pero ayun I decided to stop and accept my fate na lang and tried to control my acne by using products that are more appropriate for my skin type. For me at least, pills will never fix my acne problem in the long-run.
