If family kayo tapos sabay-sabay nawala (accident), san mapupunta yung insurance kung nasa family lang umiikot yung beneficiary?

Meron ba dito makakapag share ng quotation for a plain term OR term+health insurance from Sunlife for a 30 yo, non-smoker?

Thank you!

@michi247, if all primary and contingent beneficiaries died (ang saklap naman nito, parang ubusan ng angkan), sa estate na mapupunta ang proceeds.

@anjfinally, I'll pm you a summary. Please pm me your contact details too in case I go offline. Thanks.

Yes. You need to fill up a non-financial amendment form. Ask your advisor.

Hello po.

Which do you prefer? Front-end or Back-end sales?

^sis, to each his own. if you think you're not going to pull out within 5 years, back-end ka na para walang charges. on the other hand, if you think magagalaw mo yung funds within 5 years, front-end load ka so you can withdraw anytime without withdrawal fees.

Talked to my FA already and I now have both Flexilink and Maxilink.  Yey!

:)

Hi sis! Flexilink din binigay ni agent sa akin without explaining well. Sinabi ko kasi gusto ko 10 years lang. 10 years lang daw yung sa akin. Anong maxilink yung binigay syo? 10 years lang talaga sya? Without bawas sa fund value ba after? Saka buti pwede pala bawasan face amount? I want din sana. Hay

^hi sis, sun life advisor here.

Flexilink is a regular-pay investment-linked insurance (meaning you pay until maturity) BUT, we can indicate a Premium Holiday to shorten your paying years. So in this case malamang linagay ng agent mo, premium holiday after the 10th year. However, kung walang top-up or excess premium, may possibility na pagbayarin ka ulit ni Sun Life lalo na kung maraming riders na kinabit at naubos na ang fund value. Usually malakas makaubos ng fund value ang critical illness benefit and hospital income benefit since increasing ang charges every 5 years.

On the other hand, Maxilink Prime is a limited 10-pay plan. So ito, 10 years talaga sya, walang premium holiday na kailangan.

I'm not saying one is better than the other. May pros and cons pareho. May mas tamang product lang talaga para sa client based on budget, benefit and paying years na suitable sa needs nya.

Hope this helps.

Tama kaya yung naging desisyon namin na instead kumuha na VUL, term insurance nalang kinuha naming mag-asawa (Sun Safer Life) then yung difference dapat na ilalagay namin sa VUL, sa Mutual Fund namin ilalagay.

Good for you sis. Although keep in mind na there's no strategy that would be suitable for everyone's needs. Maaaring sayo, mas ok ang BTID (buy term, invest the difference). May pros and cons kasi pareho yan. As long as natugunan yung needs mo, yun ang mas magandang product na nababagay sayo.  ;)

Hi,
Available ba ang Female Critical Illness at FCI&MB for both Maxilink and Flexink?
Is the payment increasing like CIB and HIB or may additional payment?

Thanks.

^FCM rider is not available in maxilink. sa flexi, pwede yun. Premiums are not fixed, and changes every 5 years (not necessarily increasing). please refer to the proposal given by your agent nalang.

SUN Healthier Life

I'm planning to get my Mom this Health Insurance. Any reviews?
She's 54 yrs old, smoker and still employed so may Health Card pa siya for now (Generali).
May nabasa akong blog na if 40yrs old di na pwede ng Sun Fit and Well kaya ito na lang but I want to hear feedbacks sana. Health insurance lang ang gusto ko since may Life insurance pa siya.

I've seen one quote for 55  years old for Sun & Fit so i think pwede mom mo.

Sun Life advisor here. Yes, sun senior care issue age is until age 70 kasi kaya expect na medyo mataas ang premium. Coverage is up to age 100 with options to pay for 3,5 or 10 years.

^Hi Sis, from an Advisor versus an Insured point of view, do you think it's still worth it? For 300K worth of insurance nasa 130K na siya, 3 years to pay lang dahil sa age. Medyo may kalakihan nga kasi ang premium.
