Has anyone ever tried here na mag-appeal after being denied? Pwede ba 'yon?

^parang wala pa ako nabasa na nag appeal after being denied sis.. better wait nalang for 6 months to re-apply siguro unless its an emergency situation that you need to be in Japan, then maybe you can appeal.

kailangan ba bago birth certificate pag nag pass?

not sure about the ITR, but yung birth certificate dapat within the year na-issue. they are very strict. may kasabay kaming applicant, na-reject yung dala nya kasi luma.

@shygirlme: if may previous visa ka na, no need to pass birthcert sa next application. If first time, birthcert should be issued within one year from application.

just submitted today the requirements for tourist visa in Discovery Tours, Ang advice is thursday 4pm daw mag follow up. do you think mga sis follow up ko na ng wednesday hapon? baka sakaling andun na yung passport para makuha ko na ng thursday? thanks

I'm sharing my experience that might help others.

I applied last oct 12 at reli tours megamall.
Application are for me, my husband and 2 sons(10 & 6 yrs old)
This is our first time so we submitted all requirements listed in the website.

Our passport was ready for pick up on oct 15.
We got ME visa for all of us.
I did not apply for ME and it was our first time going to Japan so I was surprised to receive a ME visa.

My 2 sons passport has no travel stamps since it was renewed last July. I did not attach the old passport.

maybe it helped that we applied as family?
So For those applying for the first time it is possible to get a ME visa 😊

@fallen_@ngel to my knowledge, depende yan what time the travel agency picks up the passports from the embassy. minsan kahit ready na sa embassy, the agency hasn't picked them up yet so you can't get it yet.

@pampam i was also surprised na multiple entry kami. i wonder what their criteria is. i think it might be income (this is just my assumption). i noticed that friends who are in good jobs earning 100k+ monthly were usually given multiple entry visas. but my younger cousin who is 25 yrs old and just starting her career and is earning less, single-entry lang. that's why they ask for ITR siguro.

Question po! I was married po last year. Pero yung passport and all valid IDs ko hanggang ngayon is yung maiden name ko pa. If mag-apply po ako ng visa for japan, need ko ba ayusin muna lahat to? Or pwedeng maaprubahan ako kahit ganito pa mga IDs ko? Thanks in advance!

^i never changed my name. ang tagal ko na ring married but i have not taken my husband's surname. it's not a problem at all basta may marriage certificate. (the law does not force a woman to take the name of her husband, btw.)

Will be travelling end of Nov-first week of Dec with my sisters. Will be re-applying for visa soon.

Already called Reli tours to inquire about the reqs. Just recently resigned from a teaching post last July and they told me to put N/A sa occupation for ITR requirement. Also, my family travelled to Japan way back 1999 so may luma na akong visa. No need na raw to submit birth cert and marriage contract. Kaya lang hindi pa ako married noon. Exempted pa rin ba sa pagbigay ng marriage contract? Though I've been using my maiden name ever since I got married naman. Consistent naman ako dun.

^if family, isang member lang pwede na. Dapat ata common surname or middle name kasi dun malaman...

We got our visas from Reli Megamall but was given single entry only for my family. Honestly, disappointed kami since regular travellers naman kami with different visas din although nasa old passports. Hubby's ITR from our business is good also, as well as our bank cert. Don't know why SE lang althoug discretion naman talaga ng embassy yun. Well, ok na rin for now at least looking forward na kami to spend our holidays in Japan. Also, it took 3 days only sa Reli. Thanks to all the insights from our sisses here!

ano reason bat na denied? kabado tuloy yun friend ko kasi nadenied sya sa ibang visa baka daw di sya ma approve

same here, we only got SE for our visas kahit frequent travellers naman kami.. ok nalang din first time palang din naman in japan. hoping for ME next time we apply =)
