Tip: Japan Tourist Visa Application(very helpful-LINK inside) THREAD 2

How soon ako dapat mag-apply ng tourist visa if ang planned travel date namin ng family ko ay August 2017 pa? Nasa abroad ako at uuwi ng december, plan ko sana mag-apply na kami sa December para sure na na may visa tapos makapagbook nadin ng ticket. Pwede ba yun?

^mas safe sis kung 3 months before your travel dates ka mag apply. Sometimes kasi they only give single entry visa that is valid for 3 months only.

My partner got his SE visa c/o Reli.

He applied last Wednesday, afternoon (siguro around 5pm).
He got a text yesterday, Monday evening.

He just submitted the required documents (no supporting docs, not even flight and hotel bookings—according to a friend, Reli would not even accept additional docs. Not sure if it depends on the staff receiving your docs). Planned trip on the itinerary was 8 days. Bank balance more than 50k.

Okay naman with SE, considering he applied alone. At least, may visa! Hehe.

Will be applying our family visa by Oct for Dec travel. Is it ok to put 8 days visit to Osaka even if we plan to stay for 15 days for Tokyo-Osaka? Also, We will be requesting for a multiple entry visa.Which agency should we lodge our application, Friendship or Discovery? Thank you!

hi sis divamom, is this your first time in Japan? usually kasi 15 days lang ang iniissue na single entry visa sa first timers. make sure na pasok talaga sa 15 days yung trip nyo. i always applied thru Reli tours. on my second application, tsaka lang ako nabigyan ng multiple entry for 5 years even without request coming from my end.

Sa Reli tours din kami sis. Sila ata pinakamura and pinakamabilis ding mag process.

If you want a multiple entry visa, indicate mo na lang sa application form mo. And, indicate mo na lang din that you are staying 15 days. Naniniwala ako na mas maganda na totoo lahat ang dinedeclare oag nag apply ng Visa. Whatever happens, legal lahat kumbaga.

Hi sis!  Yes, it's our first time to apply for a visa although we were able to visit Narita on a 24-hr layover to the US way back 2002 pa. Our planned iti is dec 15-29, 15 days talaga. The reason why I initially wanted to put 8 days lang sana is for the multiple entry request stating that we plan to go back on holy week 2017 in Tokyo for the hanami season naman.

I see. Hindi ko lang alam sis if they issue multiple entry sa first timers but you can try requesting. Although personally, wala pa ako kilala na nagrant ng ganun. Pero usually second time, multiple agad at 3 yrs and above ang binibigay nila. Sakin 5 yrs kaya di muna ako nag change to married name sa passport ko.

1,200 ata kuha ko sis pero alam ko nagbaba sila ng price. Less than 1k nalang ata ngaun. Not sure lang.

to be fair, nakatry din ako sa UHI (Universal Holidays Inc) sa Dusit Thani. eto ang pinaka sushalen. hehe P500 din kung nakatyempo ng deal sa travel expo.

^ I love UHI! Sa kanila ako lumalapit noong mga una kong biyahe sa Japan 6 years ago pa, hindi pa uso multiple entry visa and mahigpit pa dati. Got nothing but great things to say about them, especially yung naghahandle sa akin noon, her name’s Khen, if I remember right.

I wanted to share my experience with RELI TOURS in Megamall. I would highly recommend them. May nabasa ako dito na rude yung staff nila, pero mukhang nataon na lahat mababait when we went.

Dito ako pumunta because it's closest to the office.

1. ABOUT ATTACHING PROOF OF TRAVEL HISTORY - I tried to attach yung photocopy of our old passport to show past travel history but the desk said wag na daw, there is no need. Medyo kinabahan ako kasi bago yung passports namin, so wala pang tatak except for US visa and one entry into the US. But I did not insist.

2. ABOUT JOINT BANK ACCOUNTS - Isa na lang ang pina-attach na bank statement kasi joint yung sa amin. I actually had a photocopy of the same statement in my application pero tinanggal na rin nung desk. The original was attached with my husband's application.

3. ABOUT MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE - Ito rin, one copy na lang. They attached it with my husband's application.

RESULT - 5-yr multiple entry visa. So I guess their advice worked. It seems ayaw ng Japanese embassy ng maraming unnecessary papers. Keep your application clean and simple.
