^feeling ko sis depende kung gano ka katagal magsstay sa Japan. Ang alam ko kasi if one week ka magstay you should have at least 100-120k lang in your bank account. So it really depends, kasi the ITR and bank certificate naman is just to see if you can finance your travel.

Naalala ko kasi friend ko before we both applied for Korean visa naman, he has about 500k sa bank account nya, plus a dollar account with about 3k usd. 4 days lang kami nun stay sa Seoul. I was approved and he was not.

We got our visa na. Kuripot ata magbigay nv multiple yung friendship? 2nd time na namin and malaki naman amount ng bank namin. Frequent traveler din kami. Well ganon ata talaga? Sayang kasi may nanghiram samin ng money medyo malaki yung nahiram di agad nabalik feeling ko kug nabalik agad yun baka pagbigyan kami multiple. Sabi ng husband ko next time wag na kami sa friendship. Sa iba nalang daw nag expect kasi sya multiple e. We love Japan na kasi plan nga namin bumalik sana sa cherry blossoms.

^I think case to case basis yan. My family were issued all multiple entry visas when we coursed their visa application through Friendship Tours. First time nila sa Japan. Pero malaki yung pera sa bank account. Baka yun.

Kami naman, as soon as the multiple entry visa was available, nabigyan agad kami.

Besides, it doesnt matter san mo i-course yung visa application mo. Hindi naman yung agency yung nag-decide if you will get single entry or multiple entry eh. Yung Japanese embassy yun.

i am still backreading, what website do i go to to apply for a visa. ano ba requirements?

kasi i wanna go there for vacation lang, less than a week to see a friend. i have no relatives there and havent been outisde Ph pa.. i just wanna go outside Ph, para magka stamp naman yung passport ko.. hehe

saw the website na, planning to use relitours to arrange my visa.. how much money should i have in the bank ba? it is in my savings account thats where most of my savings are aside from other accounts i have.. uhm, should i book a plane ticket na before applying a visa? or visa muna before the plane ticket?

nakalagay kasi dun sa form kung anong date arrival sa japan, e how can i fill it out if i dont have a ticket pa...

^ you may just indicate your target travel dates. Pati sa hotel, you can even put "undecided, still choosing a hotel" or something.

If gusto mo lang muna magka stamp yung passport, you can definitely try going somewhere visa-less (SG, Malaysia, HK, etc). But meron din naman nabibigyan ng japanese visa even if wala pang travel history.

How much money -- this depends on how long you intend to stay. Ang alam ko, pag single entry na tourist visa, max of 15 days na stay ang allowed. So you should have mga 120-150k siguro at least on your account. But again this doesn't guarantee visa grant. Example lang yan. Pero when my sister and I went there, 50k lang nagastos namin each for 7 days, including airfare and shopping money.

You can always have your visa secured first without the plane ticket. Di naman required ang ticket sa application. Sa form you just indicated your target travel date. Yung sa amin, we got our tickets prior to securing a visa, kasi may seat sale. Lol. But that's a risk, kasi kung hindi kami nabigyan ng visa, sayang din yung pamasahe diba. So it's always safer to have the visa first before booking your ticket.

Sis honeybunny you can apply the visa first or like in our case book a ticket. We are budget travellers so importante yung cost ng airfare. We booked our tickets first then apply ng japan visa. Got our ticket that time cheapest na yung 7k. Regular airfare is 15k above. Since matagal pa travel date may time pa magipon. When we applied we had around 120k in our bank account joint account with my husband. Ako naman freelancer so pinalabas namin dependent nlng ako at si hubby will sponsor the trip. We got approved single entry. We stayed in Japan for 6 days. Spent around 50k Nagoya-Kyoto-Osaka-Tokyo. We applied sa Discovery Tours Php 800 lang processing fee. Smooth transaction naman. We will be going back this December sila ulit kukunin namin agency. We got a discount sa travel expo dati sa MOA Php 500 na lang application fee.

Sa case namin, walang laman ang bank account namin. Sa akin nsa 10k+ lang in peso while kay hubby is parang 6k+ pesos lang din. pero may sponsor/guarantor kame so baka kaya di masyadong nasita ang bank accounts namin.

3 months validity. 15 days ang maximum na stay. Ours was given ng august, we traveled ng october.

thanks mga sis... i am preparing my requirements na.. yung bank statement kasi na nasa online, last 60 days lang ang pwede sa BPI.. pag kukuha ng at least 90days bank transaction, dapat ba sa branch mismo kukuha nun? or  kahit saang BPI ako kumuha?

also, iba pa ba dun yung bank certificate? and sa branch ko ba ako kukuha nun? or sa any branch ng bank ko?

^bank certificate kailangan sis. Sa bdo kung san branch ka nag open ng account magrerequest

also, sa itinerary na isesend, kelangan ba may oras yung sched and budget per day and tour? kasi i just have an idea on where to go pero as to which train to take, time of departure, e wala pa ako nun..

^ we got our bank cert from BDO, same day nakuha. Get from the branch kung saan ka me account/s.

Di naman kelangan ng super-detailed itinerary. Basta lang me idea sila where you plan to go / how you plan to spend your time in JP.

i have 3 banks kasi sa BPI,

i have yung BPI main where i move money to and from my other bank accounts,

then i have yung BPI direct saveup - where all my money is deposited.  about 80k

plus my maxi saver kaso 25k lang ang laman. (with ATM to)

should i give them all the bank certificate?

will the BPI direct saveup be considered as an actual bank? sorry dami tanong..

^ iba-ibang branches yan, sis? Sorry, di ako familiar sa direct save-up e.

If i were you, i'd go to my main bank (where i have most funds). Then try to request kung pwedeng isama nila sa bank cert yung other minor accounts mo sa other branches. Pa pumayag, then good. Pag hindi, you might need to get separate cert from the other branches, if you feel na hindi sufficient yung nasa main account na amount. As to what is a sufficient amount, i have no idea kung how much dapat ang minimum.
