Hehe. Sorry natawa lang ako.. kahit anlayo ko updated ako sa chismis. GT sis din yung nag share sakin pero I won't mention kung sino haha.. not a hater din of chiz-heart/dong-yan..but not a fan either. pero maganda naman ang wedding ng dalawa.. tama yung comment dito na they just give the viewers of what is expected from them.

^ this actually saddens me...it's like during the spanish colonial times when rich people can just buy indulgences from the church...i wish everyone's treated equally by the church...i believe pope francis has also mentioned previously that the church should not be a money-making institution so they should not charge brides so many fees like those mentioned in another thread ^

agree din ako @belle_v2g dun sa isang ka sis... both weddings naman ay maganda, yung mga fanatics kasi naman nila ang hilig mag compare... pinag aaway pa. True - they just give the viewers of what is expected from them... achieved na achieved naman so wish na lang natin sila ng maayos na pagsasama at magagandang anak ahahah!

I'm not a fan of Heart and/or Chiz. I just wanted to share that I saw an alleged social media post by Tyke Kalaw that they were merely "pencil booked" at Balesin. The Balesin management put on hold their request pending the owner's approval. So when the owner disapproved the request because he offered it to someone else, i.e., Heart & Chiz, there was technically no "booking" to speak of, thus nobody was bumped off, strictly speaking.

^^I agree that the church should not make events a money-making venture. I don't know why churches have to charge items/services on top of the fee to get married there. Sa amin, 25k for wedding then 2k for interview or seminar. Hindi pa pala included sa 25k. Hehe.

sis 120515: i know what you mean. Pope Francis said something like "sacraments should be free." Although, I understand that they should charge fees since they also have to pay for the electricity, salaries of the church workers, etc. But you are spot on that it has been made a money making scheme. It's as if they are implicitly showing that you can have your dream Church wedding as long as you can afford it. Anyway, in my opinion whether it's a multi-million wedding or the simplest one, the couple will receive the same amount of blessings from the Lord.

just like you, i understand the fees to cover for aircon bills, salaries, and other direct expenses...but, i read in the other thread that their church charged them something like 2k for the candles! then there are also charges for your p/v, etc.

good thing my church only charges 10k, inclusive of aircon

^sis 120515, lucky you when i got married, we only paid 5k for mount carmel pero that was in year tralala pa. haha. grabe naman, 2k for candles alone...di na reasonable! naisip ko lang...among the churches na mahal sumingil, anong order (franciscans, augustinians, jesuits or dominicans) usually ang nagpapatakbo? para kung magpakasal na ang mga daughters ko sabihin ko sa kanila, iwasan yung mga yun! haha

^hi sis mt carmel din ako. buti na lang dun reasonable ang rate at minimal ang fees. we paid 15k for church, 1k for electricity, and 100 per head on top of 4 pairs of PS. grabe naman un ibang church sobrang money making na

back to topic...sa akin nakaka-touch yung wedding ni saab. kasi, from the pics and vid, i can feel the happiness nung couple plus nung guests. para sa akin yun ang memorable, hindi yung styling, etc. kasi after a time, yung mga yun pwedeng baduy na haha but the gamut of emotions during the wedding, hindi nababaduy hehe

re: DongYan wedding, I guess ang naging problem dun was, lahat na lang may price tag. LOL. Imagine, hindi pa tapos ang ceremony, kesyo worth 30m daw ang wedding. 7m na cake, worth 2m na wedding gift ni marian kay dingdong dantes (rolex)... lahat na lang sinabi na nila presyo. not sure kung fault nila marian mismo na dini-disclose nila ang amount, or fault ng coordinator/suppliers or masyado lang masipag mag research ang fans.

And correct me if Im wrong pero 7 bishops pa yata ang andun mismo sa wedding. like seriously, bakit ganun kadami? I have to agree with other sissies here, show of wealth ang nangyari. And it also proves na you can have a worth 30m wedding pero it cannot assure you of an elegant and a classy one. Disturbing yung pagpasok ni Marian, daming extra sa background. LOL. tapos sa reception, janno gibs as your wedding singer. 

Not a fan pero hats off to Heart. never akong nakabasa kung how much ginastos nila sa wedding.

dongyan wedding - found it a bit OA, but marian looks like a disney princess in her wedding gown.

yeng's wedding is nice din, saw lots of pics from the guests na i follow sa IG (more of mga nagwowork sa abscbn talent center na friends ko) i like the aisle and the huge flowers, elsa-ish nga ang hair nya

of course, heart-chiz.. she's like a princess too nun wedding, super ganda ng set up and all. i just noticed na parang she really cut ties with abs-cbn people when dun sya sumikat and all. kahit isa,  kahit si angelica na bestfriend nya dati? im really wondering, why?

anyway im waiting for pratty and patrick garcia's wedding naman after heart's since they're part of my growing up years haha,
