^I would say hiyang si baby sa formula if (1) magana syang uminom (2) he's got good poop movement, not hard, not watery din (3) he gains weight or appears to be lean - they say with S26 tumataba talaga yung babies pero tabang "hangin" daw, but this is not the case with my son on S26 gold, he's just really lean and not mataba at all, (4) not gassy, no rashes forming on his mouth, belly area or anywhere on his body after a few days of taking such milk

I asked a dietitian, nutritionist and someone involved in working in the food laboratory of of one of the big formula manufacturers. Basically the formula is based on the nutritional needs of the baby at that age stage. It's measured precisely to make sure that the amount of some of the vitamins or minerals or the other basic ingredients of the milk will be suitable for the baby's digestive system at that particular age stage.

My first baby was allergic to promil.  So it's been NAN since then and even now with my 2nd baby.. Didn't try any other brand anymore.  They're not chubby.. But steadily gaining weight and proportional to their age. My 2nd baby is mixed fed-- formula during the day and BM at night.. He sleeps with me.  He's turning 1 next month and I want to start weaning him off.  Pero it's his "pampatulog" and when I try to give formula during bed time, he refuses to take it.

If you warm the formula milk, it will make the baby sleep better too. I wish I can still feed my baby BM pero nawala na talaga.  He is taking NANWH1, so far poop is regular, 3x a day like before with BM.

^aww sis bakit tuluyan nawala? ilan months na si baby mo? nung super engorged ako at di ko mapafeed si baby, pedia advised i can pump daw or give formula yun enfalac a+. naisip ko pwede din pala mag mix feed kung talagang kinakailangan pero ayoko naman mawala yun bm supply ko if ever.

Yung baby ko is 9 kg na sya and height is 64cm. And she's just 5 months old. Sobrang hiyang sa s26.
Baka maoverweight or obessed naman sya. Try ko siguro Enfalac a+? hmmm.

Hi mga sis. I went to the supermarket the other day, was going to buy Enfapro A+ for my baby. The salesperson there told me, malapit na daw i-phase out and Enfalac/EnfaproA+ name, papalitan na raw ng ENFAMIL A+ one (former Enfalac a+) and ENFAMIL A+ two (former Enfapro a+). She also told me inuubos na lang daw yung current stocks ng enfalac and enfapro. I checked mead johnson's PH website, wala naman ako nakitang announcement. Di ko pa natanong sa pedia ni baby.

Anyone here who also experienced this? Nagswitch na ba kayo from EnfalacA+/EnafaproA+ to ENFAMIL A+?

^yes sis ganyan nga sabi sa mercury drug naman. enfamil na yun binili namin. sa ibang bansa naman enfamil na rin ang name hindi na enfalac.

update ko lang milk ng baby ko. nasayang nga ang progress gold, ang nido jr at ang similac gain plus.

thank God ok na sa nan pro three.my baby is 16 months old.

s26 gold is good up to 6 months, what if may matira pa after the 6 month, pwede ba pa ipainom yun? napadami yata ang stocks ko ng milk.

I think sis better to consult your pedia..baka need magpalit ng milk ng baby mo. Enfalac A+ user baby ko pero di naman siya naka-experience ng ganyan... Ang ginagawa ko pala, nagdadagdag ako ng half oz water sa pagtitimpla (like 3.5 oz water + 3 scoops milk, 5.5 oz water + 5 scoops milk)

hindi naman sis. si baby ko malagkit lang yun poops nya. pero kasi mixed feeding kami hehe.
hmmm di kaya baka nassobrahan mo yun pag scoop? sabi kasi dapat daw sakto talaga at nakalevel dahil pag sumobra ang sukat e titigas nga yun poop ng baby.

@gwyne21. Oo nga sis ganun din ginagawa ko. malaking lata pa naman yung nabili namin. And super water na din si baby. Puro wiwi lang siya. Di pa siya nag poo poop. Once a day lang poop niya. Tapos minsan every other day tapow mixed pa na matigas at malambot.

@lakwatsa sa 1 oz nga sis 3/4 scoop nalang ang nilalagay ko to make sure na hindi sobra sa milk formula.

Mga sis ilang beses nag poo poop si baby niyo while using enfalac a+??

My baby girl is turning 3 months on Mar 12 and she 7.2 kilos, we tried S26 at first but she spits up like all of it, so I changed to Lactum and it is better, siksik yung taba nya hindi hangin.

^wow sis ang bigat ng baby mo. sana ganyan din kabigat baby ko when he turn 3 mos. medyo malayo pa mag 1 month pa lang si baby.

Nagpoop si baby umiire siya pero matigas pa din. Pebble like. Namumula na anus niya. we'll talk to pedia later kung ano pwedeng gawin. Gusto ko pa naman enfalac a+ but if di hiyang si baby and lagi nagsusuffer tuwing mag poo poop. Di bale nalang.
