Hi mommies edd ko sa july pa.
Ask ko lang since 1st time mom nalilito ako kung ilang pajamas /shorts/longsleeves at shortsleeves ang kailangan bilhin for newborn.Like baka masobrahan ako sa dami ng bili o kaya naman kulang.

hi mommy harleyporky! i gave birth last march2 and based from experience, buy a few pcs muna until you know baby's size na. there are petite babies kaya nagagamit nila ng matagal yung mga 0-3mos, while there are others naman (like mine!) na 2 months pa lang pero he is more comfortable wearing onesies for 6-9 months (sizing ito ng Carter's). most people also say na mas malalaki ang baby boys compared to baby girls. mas matakaw din sila. so consider gender also

then also consider yung season ng edd mo, since it would probably be rainy during that time (although depende din yan sa climate change hehe), medyo damihan mo na din siguro since mahirap magpatuyo ng laundry and maginaw na din so lo might need more long sleeves and pj's too

with shorts naman, hindi gaanong nagagamit kasi on a normal day naka-diaper sya so hassle lang din yung magtatanggal ka pa ng shorts. whats more important is to buy more mittens (super bilis humaba ng nails ng babies kaya dapat may mittens to keep them from scratching their face) and socks (para hindi malamigan). bonnets naman depende sa baby iyan kasi may mga iba (like mine again hehe) na pawisin ang ulo

hello mga sis,

tagal ko di nakabisita dito sa thread natin...

I gave birth last Apr. 12 ng mga past 7PM...sakto lang kasi start ng Maternity leave ko ng Apr 13...

di naman ako gano nahirapan, kasi morning ng Apr 12 paggising medyo masakit na un tyan ko then may check up ako ng 1PM that afternoon, pagka IE ng OB ko sakin sabi 1cm palang so uwi muna...mga 5PM we came back sa clinic kasi un pagsakit ng tyan ko mya't maya na...turned out na 3cm na pala ako and pumutok na daw panubigan ko so admit na, by 7PM 8cm nako...then mga past 7, ayun na....

we named him Rhys Alistair, ayaw kasi ng hubby ko sa Rhys Patrick na first choice ko na name....

Super excited na ako to see my baby sa sobrang excited I found out yesterday na 1 cm na ako though 35 weeks pa lang ako. My Ob prescibed me med to delay my labor. Haist! House rest ako ngayon. Sana everything will turn out ok.

Can you share what's in your hospital bag?

and what are the most basic items to get for your first baby. I don't want to buy too many and end up with a clutter kasi since I live in a condominium.

Hi wife gave birth last april 28. These are the stuff you should have in your bag:

For parents:
1. Pj's for mommy for 3 days.
2. Adult diapers, sanitary napkin and
Panty shields.
3. 1 bath towel.

For baby:
1. 3 sets of infant clothes.
2. 2 baby towels.
3. 2 baby blankets
4. 2 pair of baby socks and mittens
5. 1 pack of newborn diapers (24 pcs)
6. 1 pack of baby wipes
7. 1 bttle alcohol
8. 1 pack of surgical facemasks (for
visitors)

Thats about it. We ended bringing too much stuff. Also bring one pillow and blanket for hubby.

Meron. But late namin nalaman you have the option of not using it para less charge. Kala namin no choice kaya ayun ginamit namin only later to find out from the nurse na may option ka not to use it pala. Kahit diapers you can provide your own pala.

Hello mga sis! Its been a while. Gave birth last april 25. nasira ang mindset ko na normal kasi ang ending na cs ako. Tapos ang hina ng milk supply ko so si baby mixed feeding nung una, pero ngayon madalas ng formula. Regarding sa damit at gamit ni baby, hindi ko rin nagamit yung ibang dala ko. ang madalas nilang magagamit ay mittens, small towels pampunas punas at preskong damit since summer preferably mga sando, kimono. For me, no need na magpajama o shorts muna pag newborn. yung mga gifts sa kin na 3/4 na shirts na pangnew born, ginupit ko hehe, ginawa ko sleeveless at shirt. Aside sa mainit kasi ang hirap isuot sa newborn.

39 weeks na ako today at checkup ko mamaya umaga saka NST. Last monday, closed pa cervix and mataas pa. Kaya instrip ako (masakit sya) nagbrownish discharge for 3-4 days pero nawala na din. Hindi pa ako ready manganak sa totoo lang 😁😂

Ang takaw ko pa din. 2.9kgs na si baby last week 😁

Hi ladies. Gave birth last may 11 na to a healthy baby girl. 38 weeks and 4 days. Medyo napaaga hindi ko expect na manganganak na ko non kasi hindi pa ko nakaleave non. Was admitted before 7pm at around 8:30 lumabas na si baby. Lunch time that day naglalabor na pala ko hindi ko lang alam na labor na pala yon i thought braxton hicks lang kasi nawawala wala din though pabalik balik na sya. Good luck sa inyo!

Hello mga mommies,

Makikijoin po sana ako sa discussion.. 34 weeks palang ako this Saturday pero sabi ni OB baka last week ng June or 1st week ng July ako manganak.. Question naman po sa mga nanganak na, ano po ba dapat dalin na baby clothes sa hospital, yung onesies or yung may side tie? or kahit ano po?

Congrats sa mga nanganak na! Ako ndi pa waaa haha 40 weeks na ako.. 3 times na ako inistrip (ata) 5th nst ko today. Ang gastos lang pabalik balik kasi bayad sa nst + consult + ultrasound pa. Baka iinduce na ako bukas, depende kay ob. Pero ayoko pa sana, mas gusto ko hintayin si baby. Baka ma CS ako pag induce eh. 😂😁
