@sis mamey, our budget is mga 2k sagad na yun sana din hindi naman umabot ng ganyan price hehe. Regarding jr salonga, yup we booked him already last year pa. Kaso kakabrowse ko ng ibang photographers, ayan gusto ko na magpalit. I think ok naman si jr, meron lang talaga akong nakitang mas ok for me. Tentative pa naman yung pagpapalit ko di pa kasi nagrereply si coord kung papayag si jr na gamitin na lang namin yung deposit for prenup.

hi zizichick, ay mahal din pala. im thinking pa naman of renting out para hindi na mahassle sa pag fittings back and forth pag sa philippines. but with that price, parang katakot naman. haha

Oh well, lets see how. balak ko pa naman mag gown fitting nga para lang malaman kung anong bagay this weekend at tanjong.

Haha ganyan din ako sis kaya nag stop nako tumingin sa iba.. pero yung caterer ko papalitan ko talaga kahit naka dp na kame. and oo nga sis mukhang mejo maaga pa para bumili ng rings pero its up to you para wala kana mashadong iintindihin since diba nabook mo na halos lahat suppliers mo. Atleast makapag focus kana lang on your upcoming baby. (Saw your post) congrats! Btw

hi hallerski, it boils down to your own style on which ring you will choose - i think the price is a steal for singapore...i don't know if you guys have heard of this but my officemates have told me of a rule they have wherein the engagement ring's cost should be 4-5 times the man's salary!!! i told them that's impractical! hahaha!

Hi soon to be brides, regarding rings, mas mura sa malaysia compared here. nagcanvass din kasi kami ni hubby sa JB last year like sa soo kee and sa ibang shops na meron din dito. They have same designs pero mas mura sa malaysia. Pero kami ni hubby ang final decision namin sa rings, naghanap nalang kmi ng gusto naming design then pinagaya namin sa suking jewelry store kasi ni mother in law sa pinas. Well price wise syempre mas mura sa pinas. Well satisfied naman kami sa quality.

we didn't have any waiting time for our rings since we got what they already had at the store. for most other stores we asked, it ranged from 2 weeks to 3 months :-)
i once went for a facial at the body shop's spa, the facial plus the tea tree oil products they gave me caused me to have a breakout, which i never experienced in my entire life. it kept persisting for about 2 years. finally, i just went back to what i did when i was in the philippines. i washed my face morning and night with nivea facial wash. in the mornings, i use dr. g gel moisturizer and bb cream. the breakouts have stopped and the dark spots left by the pimples have started to disappear.
so, if your skin is not too sensitive then you can try having facials here but if it is, i suggest you stick to your current regimen :-)

Thanks sis! actually never pa nga ako nag pa facial sa mga ganyan kaya i'm having second thoughts, once in my entire existence lang sa cousin ni h2b na derma which is i think walang naging positive nor negative effect lol. I'm a fan of organic products kaya more on yun ang gamit ko sa face. but i have this small white bump on my forehead (they said it's milia, not sure) nakaka hiya noticeable sa camera. diko alam pano papatanggal dyahe hahaha. pre nup pa naman nmen sa march.

Hi sis, about ulit sa rings while nagcacanvass kami dito sa sg normally 1 to 2 months daw if wala available size. pag meron naman mabibigay na nila sa nyo right away. then sa pinas naman yung pinagawaan namin 1 week before namin nakuha.

About vouchers dito, grabe na-try ko kadalasan pag may vouchers or deals ok yung price then pag punta mo ang dami nilang aadvise na add ons so medyo tataas yung price then mag-ooffer sila ng package, sobrang pushy, if you dont know how to say no talagang ipipilit nila yung package na sobrang mahal.

Til may nahanap akong ok na facial house, friendly yung owner, from thailand sila and maliit lang shop nila sa orchard plaza. Yung facial sa kanila reasonable price and pwedeng installment if kukuha ka ng package.

sissies, okay naman ang vouchers dito.. kelangan lang talaga magaling ka mag-say "no" when they offer something after the treatment.. i sometimes avail pa nga the free ones in groupon, i have to say no lang talaga when they offer something.. i tell them wala din ako plan mag-upgrade. top up or anything.. after lang talaga sa free.. lol
okay yung IPL nila dito.. di sila pushy since ang in-avail kong voucher is yung lifetime unlimited IPL ($48).. kaya nakaka-visit ako every month during lunch break.. lol
nag-avail din ako ng 3 sessions RF kase nakakaliit daw ng face.. haha.. after 3 sessions, nag-avail naman ako sa ibang voucher ng 6 sessions RF facial.. facial siya with RF, di naman sila pushy since di ko pa tapos ang 6 sessions ko.. every month yung session..
let's see kung effective after the sessions..

another thing i also do was the honey mask and the light sugar honey scrub once every few months. i just put raw honey on my face and keep it there for about 30 min then i rinse it off. then for the scrub, i just mix white sugar and honey into a nice soft-wet-sand-like consistency then scrub my face with it. my skin always feels soft after :-)
another thing i do is have a lemon, olive oil, sugar, and honey scrub for the body. just combine everything in a bowl and scrub away. just be careful because the olive oil can make the floor slippery. but your skin will definitely feel soft and smooth afterwards. this reminds me that i'm due for some scrubs this weekend :-)

girls, me question ako.. bakit yung mga rings ni soo kee are more expensive than lee hwa and goldheart? for the same specs ng ring&diamond, bakit mas mahal si soo kee?

i'm not sure...all i know is that all of these places don't base their pricing on the gold price so pricing will tend to be subjective. unless, their rings are heavier compared to the others.

yes sis, it's worth checking out.  pumunta kami sa dalwang bridal fairs nila last year.  madami din kami na-book.. pero before din kase kami pumunta dun, tiningnan na namin ang list of suppliers na a-attend.. then ni-research na namin sila bago yung fairs.. para alam namin kung me maib-book ba kami or wala..
pero kahit wala kang bet sa mga suppliers, masaya pa rin pumunta para magtingin.. another thing, masaya magpa-free trial ng make-up.. haha

nakakita nako sissies.. for big flower head dress, meron sa h&m and forever21 sa ion.. on sale sila last week, not sure till when..
for medium and small size flowers naman, meron sa accessorize sa ion.. sale din..
