mamey, yup, a timeline is important for the prenup shoot :-) we need to make sure we get to the location at the right time of day for the best lighting and to maximize the tine we spend at each location. i have 3 locations and have plotted them throughout our 1 day shoot ^_^

yesterday we checked love & co for our wedding rings, tamang canvas lang price. Pero grabe ang mahal, the pair that hubby liked is priced at almost 4k na. Tingin-tingin pa ng iba. Kinoconsider din namin na sa pinas na bumili.

sis, mahal talaga lahat ng rings sa love&co.. if you want lower that 4k, you can check out goldheart, soo kee, and lee hwa.. they have nice rings ranging from 900-2k for a pair of 14k gold or 18k gold ring.  maraming sale ngayon kaya you can even get those for 20-30% discount..
mas mura pala din sis sa poh heng kase nagb-base sila sa timbang ng gold for the day but more on classic ang design nila.. so kung mura ang gold, mura din ang ring and it's 22k gold na..

if you would like very simple, traditional rings like the one in the lord of the rings - poh heng's yellow gold 22k ones cost about 800-900...they base the price on the weight and gold price...we saw some pretty rings at love & co with a design that looks like it's sparkling, cost about 1K+, if i remember correctly...we didn't like lee hwa because they're simple plain rings cost 2k each! they were trying to sell the "hand-made in switzerland" thing to us, we already knew the gold price when we went there so we knew they were putting a ridiculous mark-up!

Looking at the conversation above, talking about rings. Though we plan on getting in to Lee Hwa since dun daw bumili ng engagement ring tong Fiance ko. Well, still figuring this out. That means, Lee Hwa ba are expensive buy?

Anyway, another topic. Does any one of you will have gown fitted in Singapore? Or sa Phils na?

^ I've tried that sa mga bridal rentals sa may Tanjong Pagar... I just want lang to see kung ano yung bagay na style for me. In fairness kung mura lang yung rentals mag-rent na lang ako. Quote sakin is 1600-2000 for 1 week rental kasama na alterations and lahat ng accesories even jewelries at shoes yata basta kung ano yung available sa shop nila.

Di ko na inusisa lahat kasi wala naman talaga akong plan to rent nung nalaman ko na yung price... hehe

Went to goldheart yesterday and they have nice rings there which are cheaper than love & co. They also have 10-20% discount also. We like a certain pair but then we had to hold back because medyo matagal pa ang wedding.

While I'm window shopping in. hehe. ang price nila palagi is per ring? tapos laging mas mahal yung sa bride dahil sa designs..  or meron naman sila na package na?

^based sis sa mga napuntahan namin, per ring yung presyo nila. Wala pa ko nakitang package so far. About the price, usually mas mahal yung sa girl bec of diamonds/design but we also saw several rings na mas mahal yung sa guy because mas makapal yung sa kanila.

hi sis charmed30 meron ba kayong specific budget for your wedding rings kung dito kayo bibili sa sg? nag backread ako si Jr salonga rin pala kinuha mo na photog but you wanted to change? sha din p/v namen.

Regarding change of surname after the wedding, we had our civil wedding na last aug. I havent changed my surname yet on my passport, and pass, and also on my other documents.

based on our experience when we looked for rings, the pricing is on a per ring basis and the guy's ring was always more expensive because it was heavier. i followed the style he wanted (simple yellow gold band) because my engagement ring is already very intricate and i want it to stand out :-)
we actually don't have to change our surnames if we choose not to :-) but my husband and i have decided that i'll change my surname to his. i haven't changed my legal documents though, i'll just wait until my passport expires then i'll have everything changed :-)

sis, me nakita na kaming rings na pinagpipilian namin..
yung isa, isa lang ang diamond for bride's ring.  yung isa naman, 23 stones naman for bride's ring.. mas prefer ni h2b yung isang diamond lang para kahit nasa pinas daw kami eh pwede ipang-araw-araw at kahit mag-commute eh pwede.. tipong hindi agaw pansin.. agree ako dun..
nanghihinayang lang ako dun sa 23 stones, kase ka-presyo siya ng isang stone lang..
around $1700 sila pareho sis, for a pair..
