I don't like Globe's new plans, 599 lowest plan if you will get a handset and 499 for the basic call and text unlimited to Globe and TM. I no longer use their data services na kasi since mabagal, and I was just disappointed na 499 yun lowest plan. Smart has a plan 250, sana Globe rin.

^just had mine downgraded to 499. ambagal kasi sobra ng internet. better pa ata na magreg ka ng gosurf50, 300mb good for 3 days on top of your 499 plan.

^ True. It's LTE (Long Term Edge) kaya I opted for Smart's data services (Big Bytes 299 gamit ko). My plan naman is the old one pa, Super Plan (I think), 599 then 200 rebate. Hindi ko pinapabago yun plan ko though I am up for recontracting na. Sayang kasi ang matitipid.

I am eyeing the Lenovo S90 though, 4800 cash out for Plan 599. Pinagiisipan ko pa, sa Smart kasi 3300 lang cash out for Plan 500.

Don't get me wrong, I have been loyal to Globe ever since I had my first phone (way back 2000 pa). Kaya nga I never switched and just opted to use dual-sim phones. I just don't like their data services.

I had a pretty lengthy call with one of Globe’s CSRs and to be fair to the rep, he handled my questions quite well considering na I had a lot of them.

Just want to share some of the points from our call:

1.   Plan Zero – I inquired about this one since I want to downgrade to the lowest possible plan available. The rep went ahead and made sure that once you opt for Plan Zero, you can still upgrade to a higher one later on. He also explained that a different department handles this concern, I think the ones handling the “termination” of accounts.

I did not proceed with the plan kasi GoSakto is not available for this type of plan. I thought kasi parang Freedom plan ng smart na some prepaid codes are available.


2.   Regarding Recontracting – Just found out na offers for new subscribers are different from existing ones. Fine, I was okay na nga na that they offer phones at the same prices for both subscribers, pero what I can’t accept is that the colors available are different. This may not be a big deal to others, pero to me this is a big deal. Kasi I consider the color of my phone when buying a unit. I inquired kasi regarding the Lenovo S90 and for new subscribers the gold one is offered together with the grey one. However, for existing ones, only the grey unit is available.

Just got disappointed that they treat new and existing subscribers differently. Sabi ko pa to the rep, na they do not value the loyalty of the existing subscribers that much. I can’t totally switch to another network since all my contacts are on Globe, and yeah I’m quite sentimental with my number

^my contract is about to end this August plan ko is to downgrade nalang since I bought a new phone. unli internet pa din ba ibibigay? or free call adn text to globe nalang? from 999 kaya magkano nalang ioffer sakin? rebate? grabe nga sila kung pantay lang for new subscriber at loyal customers. 7 years na ko globe subscriber.

My BF's plan with Globe ngayon is Plan 999, includes 3 GB data and unlimited calls and texts to Globe and TM subscribers. Any calls or texts made to other networks will be on top. Though you can customize naman yata and opt for 1.5 GB of data, then allot the remaining value na lang as consumable. This is if you will remain with your current plan.

Lowest plan is 599 if you will get a handset which includes unlimited calls and texts to Globe and TM subscribers saka around 100 MB data. 499 ang lowest if hindi ka kumuha ng phone.

Bawat maisip ko kasi na tanong, tawag agad ako sa 211. Haha.

called Globe kanina pwede na pala ko magpa recontract. I availed the plan only since I have a new phone. 2 lang inoffer sakin plan 599 unli call and text to globe plus 100MB net and 130pesos rebate. yung isa 999 unli call and text to globe plus 3GB net and 300 rebate. kinuha ko na yung plan 999.

ohh may rebate na rin pala na 300 yung plan 999? so bale parang lalabas na 600 lang ang plan with 3GB na data?

Got disappointed with Globe. I recently applied for re-contracting with a Galaxy Note 5, verified that the unit to be issued is dual-sim. However, I forgot to ask if both slots will be Globe locked. Unfortunately for me, I only found out that both slots are locked after my re-contracting has been processed. Hindi na daw pwede macancel once processed.

What's the point of owning a dual-sim phone if both slots are network locked? Sa Smart kasi from what I know one slot lang ang locked.

I opted for Globe kasi mas mura offers nila.

Di ko na magets ngayon ang billing ni Globe. I have 1.5 GB data monthly lang, plan 799 (499 unli call and text + 299 sa data). Pero parang chinacharge nila ako ng data usage ko kahit di ko pa ubos yung 1.5 GB ko.

May excess agad ako ng 900 sa bill ko after 8 days ng cut off period ko. Huh? Impossible naman maubos ko agad ang 1.5 GB eh puro IG, Twitter at FB lang naman ako.

ako din mejo naguguluhan. nagrenew ako ngplan. ang cutoff ko is every 12th, pero nakareceive ako ng sms about GoSurf registration on the 18th. hindi ko tuloy alam kung pano nila cncount yung data usage ko.

Pansin ko simula nung nagrenew ako ng plan at di na unli mas bumagal na signal ko. Pag nasa labas ako para akong naka free fb at ig di nagloload pics. Tapos pag naubos ko pala yun data plan ko hindi per cut off no? Like 17 cut off ko nagtext sila before 1u na naubos ko na data plan ko kaya babagal na speed babalik sa normal nalang. Expected ko after 17 babalik na pero kanina lang nagtext na balik na sa dati speed. Monthly pala. Ang gulo sa totoo lang.

I applied for recontracting yesterday and I decided I'll be getting Apple iPhone 6 16GB. The plan offered to me was Plan 999 with 18,000 cashout ( ) but since I don't have that money I opted to have it charged to my monthly bill (1,700+ per month) for 24 months. Sad thing is, the Gold color is not available daw so I chose Space Gray instead. And they're not offering unli data plans anymore.

The unit is expected to be delivered tomorrow (whoa, bilis ng processing!). Sana nga dumating yung phone bukas.

I'm on their postpaid plan since 2010. I still use their UnliSURF 999 plan with 10 minutes free call Globe to Globe and 200 free texts Globe to Globe also. I do not like their current plans, it forces me to pay more than I pay right now. Sad thing, when I reach the fair-use policy limit, my internet speed downgrades.

Anyway, if they have better plans in the future, I might consider changing my plan. But for now, no plans yet.

Nagsisi ako nagparecontract pa ko. Sana unli net pa din ako kasi parang lumalabas same din monthly binabayaran ko kahit naka rebate pa ko ng 300. Tapos kahit free call and text sa globe eh nalagpas pa din ako sa bill ko na 999. Compare dati na di naman kalakihan bill ko. Ewan ko parang mas magulo plan nila now. Gusto ko sana mag change na sa smart pwede naman ako magchange since wala akong kinuha na phone. Ayaw ko lang sana magpalit ng number sayang kasi.
