this week i have just been working on tissue paper pom poms, i think i've made nearly a hundred now and i'm getting burns on my fingers from pushing the tissue paper flat! hahaha! but it's all happy work so i don't mind at all

this week i have just been working on tissue paper pom poms, i think i've made nearly a hundred now and i'm getting burns on my fingers from pushing the tissue paper flat! hahaha! but it's all happy work so i don't mind at all 

When I was organizing my friend's baby shower, i was her cook and also the one who did her nappy cake, the topper was the paper pompom that I did, nakakawala ng stress no parang zen ka lang kasi kailangan mong magfocus para hindi mapunit yung tissue. Ilamg kembot naang dec. Na. hope you'llkeep us updated sis. Excited for you

sis bonzaigirl, they're easy! i'll bet you'll be able to master them in no time!

just a few tips:
1) you can use nice wrapping paper. don't limit yourself to just scrapbooking paper. plus, wrapping paper is thinner so it's easier to fold compared to scrapbooking paper.
2) make sure the fold spacing is even. what i did was i marked every 1-inch and 0.5-inch space.
3) score the paper so that it's easier to fold, especially true for thicker paper. i did have a scoring board so i just used a ruler and a plastic knife.

sis house princess, you can definitely do it! plan all that you want to do and then schedule. it depends on you. depending on the project, i would allocate 1-2 hours in the evenings and whole saturday and sunday afternoons for my projects.
