Im having fun reading this trail but I'm getting confused at the same time or the right words to say is natataranta ako:) Im planning to DIY our wedding too and it seems madami pala akong dapat gawin. hi mamey, i looked at the link again, i finally saw what you meant...haha! it looks like a vine/lead decor...if you're okay with using plastic ones, i think i saw some plastic ivy vines in daiso vivocity; you can also check home decor shops, they would have those as well :-)

any of you have tried going to star paper corp? i want to order sana specialty boards in large sizes (illustration board). kaso im not sure if they do retail dun or kailangan may kausap ka sa loob?

Hi sis jentotmd kami sa StarPaper kami bumili ng paper for invitations. Tinawagan ko lang yung number na nasa packet and they directed me to the right person naman Isang buong sheet ang bentahan nila and pwede mo ipa-cut din sa kanila on the size that you prefer

Would anyone know if chalkboard sticker label is available in Divi, and where?  May nakita ko sa NBS but if i need a lot medyo better siguro if sa divi na lang.

10) stage backdrop

hi sis 120515 ang ganda ng ribbon wands mo and pareho tayo ng colors! question lang.. we're also planning to DIY yung stage backdrop, pano nio ginawa yung sa inyo? bumili pa ba kayo ng plywood? and pano nyo sha ima-mount sa stage? we're thinking of printing a backdrop sa tarpaulin then create a frame to hold it.. pero we're still tryng to figure it out hehe

our backdrop will be made of fairy lights and gold painted leaves stapled to gold ribbons...the lights and ribbon strands will hang from a wooden frame...we will alternate the leaves and the lights...it will be about 10 feet across...then i'll just dress up the wire-frame with more gold ribbon :-)

^ sorry, that should be wooden frame not wire frame ^
the wooden frame will also add to the rustic look...i also want the reception venue to be cozy so i'm not planning for a big "stage" area :-)

hi emceeglot, how big do you want it to be? if you want it to be big, i think it would be easier to use the hard cloth people use for making banners then paint the quote on it...just color coordinate the cloth color and paint with your wedding palette :-)

I was in Divi yesterday. Namili ako ng tela for the bouquet & boutonnieres. Sobrang dami, dapat marunong pumili and alam kung anong bibilin (and stick to that list).  Wala akong nakitang chalkboard. Ang madami is the block letters & mason jars.

I'm looking for felt cloth pero sarado ata yung mga nagtitinda nun pag Sunday.

it's true that we should know what we want to get and what we want to pick when i buy our materials to avoid buying stuff we don't need and we just thought was cute at the time. i'm also a little craftiholic (made-up word) so i get distracted by all these arts and crafts supplies i see ^_^

Hello!! Subscribing! As early as now gumagawa na ako ng fabric bouquet for me and my ento wedding's on 11/27 but i am enjoying my preps hehe! Do you know where I can buy wooden dowels or sticks that i can use for as handle for the bouquets? I am using styro balls. Aside from divi sana kasi di pako makapunta or any suggestions as alternative? Btw, to the one looking for coffee filters sobrang dami sa Saizen

Chaka me question din ako about fabric bouquet. Anong type ng fabric ang gamit mo? I tried organza (but the shiny one) pero di ko gusto yung output =(

i made my bouquets from grosgrain and satin ribbons. maybe you can try satin cloth or chiffon fabric.

the top picture is more reflective of the true color since it was taken by my camera. the bottom one was only taken by my iphone, there's a slight color mismatch because of the lighting :-)

Sis smld thanks will check sa Market2 =) naiisip ko na nga candles ang gamitin as alternative pero pag wala na ako makita hahaha or bbq sticks nalang.. i am using silk satin organza sis okay din sa layering may added effect siya sa flower kaya wag mo itapon kung meron pa natira how do you make your flowers?
