Share ko yung pic nung printed invites namin, design ko then pinaprint ko sa Urbanista Invites. Papalitaan ko pa yung envelopes kasi masyadong basic yung binigay nila eh. ggawin kong shimmery gold hehe

Hi Sis Dawn11! Urbanista client din ako, so far okay naman service nila. Ang naging problem namin during the final lay out eh nag iiba [textspeak!] color sa actual print vs sa naka lay out sa computer nila. We had so many revisions on the color application. Then narealize na yung paper pala ang nagko-cause ng inconsistency sa color. In the end we had to upgrade the paper type para makuha [textspeak!] gusto namin. Likewise, we also had customized envelope sa kanila kasi super plain na white envelope lang yung kasama sa package. hence, another upgrade ulit. All in all, they delivered well naman at prompt sila. Patience lang talaga.

Hi sis. Kami rn pina upgrade namin yung paper. Glossy kasi yung standard nila which i dont like kaya pina matte ko. Affordable naman. P5 lang per set.

Usually yun talaga ang nagiging problema eh. Yung kulay. Yun din ang worry ko considering ako mag ddesign. Buti na achieve  naman.

Nagpagawa rin kami ng button pins and tumblers sa kanila. Ako rin nag design

Hi sis dawn.  We are also looking ng suppliers na magpprint sa invites namin.  Yung sa urbanista supplier mo na 5php all in invitation each na yun?  Walang ka nang upgrade sa 5php? We also checked yung invites mo.  Nakita ko my monogram sa envelope ninyo.  sticker ba yun?Included na din yun sa 5php?

Hi! Sorry confusing pala yung statement ko.  P5 is for the upgrade para maging matte paper. Ang cost ng invites namin per set ay P70 + 5 for the matte paper.

Yes monogram sya. Envelope tag tawag nila. Hindi sya sticker. Matigas rin siya same nung paper ng invites. Kasama na yun dun sa price nila.

^ hi, i'm in the process of making my own ribbons wands - about 50 made out of a target 180. i didn't use the wooden dowels/rods. instead, i used big barbecue sticks that are about 12 inches long and fatter than the usual barbecue sticks.
i only use hot glue to attach the ribbons to the sticks then i string the bell with one of the ribbons. i make a loop with an inside ribbon so that all the ribbons are squeezed together then tie it using the looping ribbon. i wish i could show you a how-to but i don't know how to add pics to my post. ^

^ wow! sooo pretty! this is proof that we can diy a wedding and it will be as beautiful as professionally-styled ones ^

we are also diy-ing our own decors. my wedding is in december so we're using our weekends to make them.

i made my own bouquet (it was the very first project i finished because i used it for our civil wedding) out of ribbons.

sobrang sayang mag-DIY lalo na kung para sa sariling wedding. You get to express your own personality and taste. Saka masaya makarinig ng appreciation ng ibang tao kapag nakita mga DIYs mo on your big day. Tiyaga lang talaga. Maganda rin mga DIYs for photo purposes.

hindi ako marunong gumamit ng paper cutter! puro hindi pantay yung pagkaka cut ko. wala tuloy sa alignment yung monogram ng save the date cards ko waaah.

anyone who tried it na? any tips?

any of you have tried going to star paper corp? i want to order sana specialty boards in large sizes (illustration board). kaso im not sure if they do retail dun or kailangan may kausap ka sa loob?

what kind of paper cutter do you have? mine is the one where the blade is on a roller so what i do is align the line where i want to cut the paper to the very edge then roll the blade over it. it will cut along that line.

it looks a bit difficult to use...maybe you need to align where you need to cut it to the very edge, then use something to keep the paper in place at the same time as you bring down the blade?

^onga sis eh. Baka mag cutter na lang ako na simpleng cutter. Andami kong nasayang na papel trying to perfect the alignment lol.

Sis may sample pic ka ba nung cutter na ginagamit mo?

^sis ganyang cutter gamit ko. so far ok naman. true na you need to align it edge to edge. mahirap gamitin kung yung icucut mo walang border. what i did with our thank you cards, nilagyan ko ng border na manipis to mark the edge. since then madali na siya. i also use the grid lines on the wooden board.
