@120515 Well hindi ko naman alam kung achieved yan.. Haha.. Pero ako iniisip ko na lang ayaw ko ma pressure, kung may hindi magawa, okay lang din. Though minsan, hindi ko mapigilan magpakamaarte sa mga naiisip ko na ideas pero gusto ko din maging realistic. We'll see! hahaha

@venuslovesyou naisip ko nga yun, ayaw ko mapuyat at magka eyebags! haha.. pero at the same time, gusto ko ako pumili ng flowers! Pero infairness, when I helped style yung 1st birthday ng pamangkin ni fiance, naenjoy ka talagang magdangwa. Pero syempre ibang usapan pag wedding mo the next day! hehe.. Ako din plan ko talaga mag print sa bahay lang, tutal itatapon lang naman yun after. hehe

mamey, have you tried Prints in City Hall? They have a range of sizes, I think. You might also have better luck ordering online --  even taking shipping costs into account, some Aliexpress or Etsy sellers can be pretty economical Or you could have a printer or stationer source them for you, they'll have access to wholesale sellers.

I've done something similar to this for my sister. I made a logo for her home-baking startup. For the graphics, I searched Google images then edited the saturation and temperature of the pics. I also downloaded some flourishes and just removed the backgrounds. Yun nga lang, the flourishes are mostly just black. I couldn't change their colour so I ended up using brackets in word art instead I call it cave-woman technology. Everything in MS Word and Powerpoint.

Sis LingMVL you can try to edit via Inkscape, it's free inport your image then Trace Bitmap it will nake a vector of the image then you can change the colors

6 months to go di ko matapos tapos ang mga diy ko..even this boutonnière di ko matapos tapos,may ilalagay pa kasi ako jan.i will post my boquet pag natapos ko na.sobrang hirap kasi gawin..

I DIYed our monogram using MS Word only and downloaded some calligraphy fonts.
Then bam! Success! I made it!
I'm so happy that h2b loved it.

so we made our monogram tonight...it's pretty simple...we used some images that i got from etsy and a nice free font (the same font that is used in our wedding invite)...we made it through powerpoint then saved it as .jpg

here's the result:

we will be printing this out as stickers for the invite envelopes 

i also started on the quotes signs (our favorite quotes from our favorite books). these will be part of the tablescape:

HI sis! super ganda ng mga ginawa mo! balak ko din gumawa ng chalkboard signs.. Ano yung ginamit mo pangsulat? chalk marker or chalk lang talaga? wala kasi ako mahanapan ng chalk marker or chalk ink eh..

hi maxim, thanks! i made the design in powerpoint then saved it as jpeg. we'll be asking our printer to print the design on sticker sheets. i'm not really sure how it works exactly but they should be able to do it

hi bride-to-be1020, thanks! i used white paint pens. they look just like pens but they have oil-based paint inside instead of ink. i haven't tried using actual chalk before but i heard that there's something called liquid chalk, which should be easier to use than actual chalk

^ national bookstore? although, if you can't find an actual chalkboard, you can always use 1/8 size illustration board, it will still work ^
