Hi mga sis.. sino may idea kung magkano yung mga package and kung saan meron ng preconception checkup? Thanks! 
Any recommended hospital/doctors?

^^ You may see any OB-RE (reproductive endocrinologist) if you're planning/trying to concieve and would want a work-up. Sa website ng St. Lukes, you may browse their list of Doctors, and search according to specialty. You can start from there. Alam ko meron din thread dito sa GT na list of doctors na specializing in OB-RE.

I dont think there is pa package designed for that. it all depends if how old you are, if you are ovulationg, if you have a regular monthly period or not. Basics are: ultrasound (transvaginal), they may ask for cbc to check if anemic or not, fbs to check sugar and t3,t4, tsh for thyroid problems in case maasses nung dr you are not ovulating. hope this helps

Hi sis! Im new here.. Im just wondering, when should go to a doctor.. How late my period shoud be before i went for checkup?

^Check via pregnancy test first. If it is positive...you can go to the OB. I used a PT on the 28th day and went to the OB 2 days after. Also, the reason why I went so early is because I had a previous miscarriage and have PCOS. My OB wanted to know asap when I get pregnant so he could take care of me and my baby by giving me progesterone.

I am reading online on how to prepare your body for pregnancy, and yes one item on the list is to have you checked out by your OB.

May nagprepare ba dito like months before?

^i did! :-) Nung 2013 sabi namin mag-asawa na magstart na ako magpa-check sa OB para makapagstart na kami magtry. aside sa pagpapacheck sa OB and kung may findings man eh pagamot...nagstart din kami magbago ng lifestyle and diet. Kumain ako ng mas healthy at bumalik sa pagkickboxing. :-)

Nung medyo matagal makabuo ulit...nagpahilot sa province, naging mas healthy pa ang lifestyle at mas sineryoso ang kickboxing and continue itreat ang kung ano mang findings (i had PCOS kaya naka clomid, dhea and metformin ako and the losing of weight would help too kahit di naman ako overweight...pero I was over 5lbs sa ideal weight ko).

previously before getting married, i have no problem with my period usually my cycle is atound 25-28days.. this january i didnt have my period. Today im at my 49th day na. Before i checked it with pregnancy test kit (39th day), negative. Kaya medyo takot nako magcheck. I dont know whats wrong. Im not anemic kasi im taking iron supplements naman.

^ preg test ka na lang ulit, sis. Baka din stressed ka lately? Or nag-diet ka? Nag-stop ng pills? Kasi those can also affect our cycle..

^^I agree, did you change something sa lifestyle mo sis? It could be that you didn't ovulate kaya hindi ka nagka-period. But best padin pa-check sa OB para if ever there is any finding, matreat agad.

Nung April akala ko pregnant na ako pero 3PTs negative yun pala ang nipis ng lining ko kaya wala naman daw ako ilalabas sabi ng tita OB ko kasi inultrasound niya ako. Pero weird thing is, nagpahilot ako sa province 3 days after nung ultrasound and the day after ng hilot, nagstart ako magkaperiod which lasted for 5 days. Minsan ang crazy crazy lang din ng body natin.

i stopped taking pills 3months before my wedding. My period cycle resumed. Im not on a diet. Stress usually triggers my period but not delayed. I will test again this weekend. Kapag wala pa din bka magpacheck nako sa OB.

How much po kaya yung checkup? Do you know a good OB?

^average OB check-up rates may range from php300 to php800. + any procedure or tests that you may need to undergo.

Hi sis, preconception checkup para malaman ano dapat gawin bago ka magbuntis(gumawa ng baby).. iready na ang body natin 

ako naman nagstart na magtake ng folic acid(400mg) at take lagi calcium. Everyweek na din ako magygym para hindi mahirapan sa panganganak.. hehe excited lang 

sa february magpapacheckup ako sa OB, this month kasi delayed ang period ko(dapat nung Jan 13 pero today Jan 28 ako nagkaron.. 30 palang naman ako pero takot kasi ako magbuntis at gusto ko healthy talaga si future baby..

Sis, nagtest ako kanina.. faint pink [textspeak!] test. Positive daw yun sabi ng hubby ko so we went to a clinic. Sabi naman its too soon daw hindi pa makita yung baby. Pero thick na [textspeak!] uterine wall ko.
