inguinal hernia and pregancy

Hi everyone!

I'm totally new here. I can't find a thread about my concern. Has anybody experienced Indirect Inguinal hernia? It's a hernia in the groin part and very rare in women. I only had it checked once with a surgeon through ultrasound, but my mom told me I had it since I was young (maybe congenital). The right side of my private part bulges when i'm exerting force like coughing, lifting heavy objects.

My concern is that i have been trying to get pregnant for 3 years now.. Is it going to affect the hernia when I get pregnant? or is the hernia affecting my fertility?
