Road to 900M na ba? OMG

The suprising thing about THOU is that it's not even a superhero film...for a reg run/non-mmff, it's an outlier... it's not the type of film that people necessarily take their kids to see and yet it is doing insanely well in the box office. Maraming salamat po ulit!

More than US $ 2M international gross!!!

It's still showing in cinemas abroad!!!...also, kath/dj will be attending the premiere of The Hows of Us in Indonesia and Vietnam this weekend!  Proud na proud ang StarCinema sa thou, full force pa sila na nandun (may budget)!!!

In the local box office battle (2018),  thou has already beaten Black Panther, Ant-Man, Dead Pool  but nobody expected na ganito kalakas at  kayang talunin ang Marvel ( hindi kami delulu !). This is massive.  Isang alamat ang The Hows of Us!!!

Kaya naman lumuha ng grabe si kath nung victory party....  ehem, channel 2 are we allowed again to use the term "kathniel"?  suspended na ba ang individual branding???

Congratulations Kath and DJ! This is really unbelievable. The box office numbers are staggering. Worried pa ako nung una dahil late ang trailer at promotions. Basta maganda ang movie papanoorin talaga ng tao. Word of mouth is really powerful.

So heartwarming to see them receiving so much love from their international supporters!!! For it's 4th week nasa 175 cinemas pa nationwide ang THOU, so my projected gross  for it's entire run -
 P 700 M for domestic +  US $ 3M for the international screenings.

^ They have a very solid fanbase in both countries which was awesome since there were no conscious effort from channel 2 to market kathniel in the Asian region.  And those box office returns clearly indicated that The Hows Of Us has connected and resonated well with the viewers - which should be daniel and kathryn's best vindication. ( estimated gross- P 800M total)

^^^My husband loved the classic set list last night  (mostly 70's, old soul si dj) and the fabulous stage concept .  His voice was just ok but keribels na because he  has a great stage presence and he really was grateful to his audience -ang daming bagets- nakakabata yung feels!   And my ex-boyfriends - Echo and Ian V.  were there as  special guests (lol) but my fave part ~ when dj said...."It's really for you, My love" and  serenaded kath in front of the crowd ~ worth it yung gastos at sobrang traffic kagabi.

Flex ko lang, coz she already has bragging rights on starring in two of the biggest Pinoy films of all time ♥️

The Hows Of Us came at a time when people were questioning kung may pag-asa pa ba ang Phil cinema outside MMFF but it's ticket sales (almost P 1 Billion ww) have proven that Pinoy moviegoers are still willing to come out in droves for a local film. At mabenta pa rin sa overseas audience almost a year after it's release (Cambodia in June 2019).

Pinag invest san yun promotion at kayang sumugal ang may hawak kay Kathryn.

Napanood ko ang movie nila,  yung ending unexpected honestly. .. not that typical movie na they choose love over their dreams. Nalungkot ako para sa love life pero natuwa ako sa story.

SI Kathryn ang galing nya dun, si Alden din at bagay sila. Nagmukhang matured si Kathryn at hindi naging pabebe si Alden. Mas gusto ko silang magka loveteam kesa si Daniel.  Wala akong makitang spark talaga kay Daniel at Kathryn, sorry KathNiel fan.
