Tonight is Crazy Beautiful You's premiere at SM Megamall. If I heard it right, 3 cinemas again for their movie to accommodate all the viewers. Tomorrow, 178 cinemas will be opened nationwide. Gahd, this is scary! It needs to surpass SDTG.

May CBY merchandise din na ibebenta. LOL ABS really milking this LT's fans so much? KNs, imo, could be the best and worst fandom. Hahaha Anyway, the gross will still depend on non-fans. Word of mouth is still the best way to make any film a hit. Good luck! I'm just wishin for a good performance from Kath.

^ Hmmm pwede. LOL But I think ganun pa rin kalaki ang fandom nila. 81 Block screenings from their fan clubs ay uber.  I think after all those block screenings, babagsak pa rin lahat sa ganda ng ng story at storytelling ng film. That's what happened during She's Dating the Gangster. They were so lucky it was under CGM. But I feel huling movie na nila 'to together.

I think mas malalaman ang effect ng audio thing na yan when they separate. Sinong mas matimbang sa fans nila? Dahil non-fans would think nadala lang ni Daniel si Kathryn, and Kath has no chance of surviving without her ka-LT. Let's see, let's see.

Kung nasa Pilipinas lang ako manonood talaga ako ng premiere night nila. Kaso nandito ako sa US antay na lang ako ng DVD or upload sa internet. lol. Pero papupuntahin ko talaga family ko sa sinehan.

Grabe 81 block screening? Ngayon ko lang nalaman.

Feeling ko din magkakaalaman kung ano ang epekto ng audio hindi lang sa movie kundi pati sa teleserye. That was a good opportunity for other love teams to rise talaga. Pero kung maganda talaga ang story manonood pa rin iyong mga tao. Pero iyong mga solid manonood tlaga iyan kahit anong story.

Sana nga mas kumita pa to kaysa sa She's dating the gangster.

Successful ba premier night nila?

Sis, it was a big success.  3 cinemas (the actual cinema, 2 were sponsored by ABS Mobile & KFC) opened last night. Yesterday I mentioned 178 cinemas will open today but I heard mga 180 0r 181 na today. Scary, ABS is really counting on them since Star Cinemas hasn't had a blockbuster hit since 2015 started.

Kath was glowing last night. She wore a gold Rajo Laurel top. It's a bit similar to the white top she wore in her Mega cover in 2013.  Kudos to the Yap sisters, so far I've liked the way they style Kath.

I'm just waiting for some reviews from non-fans para mas objective kahit papaano. LOL

SO far, Kathniel has totally surpassed Kimerald sa achievements sa films. Other LTs may boast about their current fame; it's fine, actually. But make sure that they have blockbuster hits under their belt. KN was criticized for just being so pa-cute and only having fame online before. But look at them now, just the 2 of them leading shows & movies, setting records.

^ yes, sis, try to see it but not today. Hahaha I saw some pics and super haba ng mga pila. I think most students had their field trip sa cinemas. LOL

I heard na sa first screening nya kanina naka-5m na nationwide. Seeing the pics, it's possible esp pinaghandaan to ng fans nila. Super duper pinaghandaan.

^Sis Zelda I brought my 5-year old daughter to watch it with me sa Robinson's Las Pinas (kasi super luwag ng sinehan, di kasi puntahin ng tao yung place) and true enough, the cinema was filled only about 3/4. BUT THE MOVIE WAS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! I cannot say enough good things about it! It's a million times better than SDTG, IMO. Super charming, funny, nakakakilig, nakaka-in love -- LAHAT NA! I will watch it again next week!!!

PS: SOOOBRANG ganda ni KB sa movie na 'to, di nakakasawang tignan face niya!!

Dahil sa kuwento mo mas lalo akong nae-excite. Balita ko 32M na daw 1 day pa lang. Grabe 3 cinemas for their premier night, sila pa lang yata nakakagawa nito. Ibang klase talaga ang Kathniel. Glad to hear na mas maganda pa tong movie na to kaysa SDTG.

@ swim_fatale: I'm glad you enjoyed it!  Ako bukas pa because of work. Kahapon I was really tempted to see it but seeing the long lines, I just decided to be patient.

Sabi nga nila, better than SDTG. I think one factor is Ms. LT and Gabby. Those 2 are so lucky to have 2 veterans in their film. Para mas maging appealing sa older pips.

It needs to be confirmed but they closed with 38m gross last night ata.  Highest first day gross of a non-MMFF movie ever! hehe If this is true, they're blessed. Sana magtuloy-tuloy ang good feedbacks.

^SDTG had its own charm din naman sis pero mej awkward (for me lang ah) yung time frame aspect kasi di mo maintindihan kung anong era ba yun dapat -- so pati itsura ng KathNiel dun awkward, haha. Not to mention yung pinilit na Bicol location when in the book sa Korea siya dapat. Eto kasing CBY present time ang setting and the Tarlac location was PERFECT.

Sis angel0607 -- WATCH KA NA, suuper ganda talaga! I'm sure you'll watch it more than once.

i was listening to a radio station earlier then this female dj stated that she watched CBY daw yesterday. all praises sya sa movie. then her partner asked her kung ano ang mas maganda CBY or that thing called tadhana. then she said "ayoko mag-comment baka i-bash ako ng mga fans but all i can say kung gusto nyo ng feel good movie na kikiligin kayo at pag labas nyo ng sinehan eh nakangiti pa rin kayo at yung feeling na gusto nyo pang ulit-ulitin yung movie, i will recommend CBY" then she said "ang tanda ko na pero napa-kilig pa ko ng KN, ioba talaga sila, solid kathnile na talaga ko"
and she said that dj was so charming sa movie while si kathryn daw kahit anong anggulo ng camra ang ganda pa rin.

^ ay unfair naman icompare ang CBY and TTCT. Ibang level ang TTCT, and family melodrama ang CBY.  I'm sure fans won't get offended. TTCT yun! Angelica pa! Kahit ako, handsdown TTCT!  I love that film.

Sis Zelda ako din couldn't help but compare CBY to TTCT kasi magkasunod ko halos napanood; unfair nga kasi Indie ang genre ng TTCT and blockbuster family-oriented naman ang CBY. Both films are good but I'd have to agree with the DJ: If I were to pick the film I'd watch over and over again, CBY yun. Nakakapagod ulit ulitin ang TTCT! hehe

Was able to see it earlier, patay na oras, around 2 pm in Trinoma. Avoided the crowd and noise. hehe I got what I wanted since I was able to hear all the lines, unlike my experience with SDTG. Crowd was mostly pips above 30. LOL May mga lola pa! There were a few teens. 50-60% occupied sya, understandable kasi patay na oras. Most pips were saying "Madame baby" after the film. Haha

Daniel's comedic timing. Never failed to make me laugh.
Daniel improved in his crying scene!
Aeta community - their bond with them is sooo genuine!
Kath & Lorna T confrontation scene. Imo, di nagpalamon ang bata. Not hysterical, saktong exasperation lang.
Kath & DJ's confrontation esp the line "tinaas mo ako tapos iniwan mo ako sa ere. Wag mo na uulitin yun kundi mo ako kayang panindigan." Tagos! (Kilig pa rin ba over Jasmine? Chos!)
Sheena & Jasmine (2 young aetas who were assigned to Kath)
True, babaeng walang maling anggulo sya dito!

I'm glad nagka-appeal sya sa older generation. I felt like the film was meant to be a family melodrama but since mabenta ang romcom, pinampackage ang romcom. It was successful in showing a more mature Kathniel, imo.

To all lurkers here, pls see it! Di sya kasing "oompph" ng SDTG sa pasok ng eksena but mas makakarelate kayo sa story.
