Tagaytay Wedding (Thread 13)

^^ may parking sa Rocinas, katabi ng SAdP. Malaki parking nila, may bayad nga lang 30 pesos hehe Palagay ko hinde sila mago-overlap kung may naunang wedding, kahit kasama picture taking malaki naman yung time difference sa next wedding.  Siguro malakas lang talaga boses ni Fr. Allen kaya rinig na rinig ng mga guests nung wedding. Pero sabi sa akin ng isang kuya dun nagu-upgrade na nga sila ng sound system. Lately lang kase nag-bloom tong SAdP, mula daw nung kinasal si Karylle dito naging busy na sila hehe.

^ they allow personal message pero alam ko depende pa rin yan sa priest na magkakasal sa inyo. Kami kase tinanong ng church kung may personal message kami sa isa't isa. Sabi namin wala. Pero nung wedding day bigla kami tinanong ni Fr. Allen, so ayun impromptu personal message hehe.

Pag Sunday walang priest na nago-officiate sa SAdP kaya need mo maghanap ng sariling priest sa ibang church.

To those getting married or having their reception at Angelfields, aside from the villas inside, what are the nearest hotels or B&B's for entourage?

^barbilllie my reception will be in Angelfields. But i chose Our Lady of Lourdes as my church instead. A lot easier to find for most people, and main / wide roads lang dadaanan which is important to me for both church and reception venues. I didn't want any of my guests lost finding them, plus ako mismo as i guest i get turned off pag "liblib" yung place hehe tipong ang sikip sikip ng roads leading to it... perfect example nito, Jardin de Miramar in Antipolo. Huge place inside the compound but the way in is just embarrassing.

^starlitgrove I booked off Royale Tagaytay for my extended family and entourage since the accommodations there are relatively cheap and very comfy; i've stayed there before. Since its a country club there are also food options available. It's not super near though, i think madaming hotels within Silang area.

Any suggestions, di talaga sila nag a-allow ng bank transfers? Overseas couples pala kami.

^sis im a caleruega bride. 9am sched ko nun and intimate din kami. 80 guests. it depends on the bride's preference sis. bet mo ba yung night? maganda ang caleruega pag night time. pero syempre you have to include sa budget mo yung L&S... kung mag sstay ba yung mga guests mo til night... san ang plan mong reception? and for me, mejo gahol sa oras ang 6pm wedding.. kasi mayroong 3pm wedding. so kailangan matapos ni 3pm bride ng mga around 530PM para makapag set up yung flowers, etc... unlike sa 9am... wala mauuna sayo... and yung next mo pa is 3pm pa. tipid din kasi wala ako L&S bilang budgeted intimate wedding kami.. just my two cents

re bank transfers.. yung first payment namin yung deposit na 5k... nagpunta kami talaga dun... then yung balance na 10k.. may securitybank acct sila, kasi tinransfer ko lang yung balance ko sa bank acct nila

For me sis, 9am is better.. I am a night owl but 6pm wedding is late na for me.. Kase for that ceremony timing, makakapag-start kayo ng reception is 9pm na.. Tendency is, aalis agad ang mga guest right after dinner especially if babalik pa sila ng manila or uuwi to their respective provinces..
Overseas din ako and yes, thay don't allow talaga bank transfer. You better ask someone in Pinas to go to Cale and book for you. The sooner, the better especially if hot date ang preferred mo

very prompt ang Caleruega sa pagreply sa email, ilang beses ako paulit ulit humihingi ng Dec 2015-Jan-Mar 2016 calendar kasi check ako ng check if avail pa dates na inaabangan. hehe!

^agree ako sayo sis 6pm is late at madilim na.. pero if hindi naman issue then ok lang din.. nagka-conflict kame nun sa Jan 3 kasi super aga ayaw ng MIL and husband ko. kaya mega hanap ng 3pm avail date which is VERY RARE!

binook namin yun sis November 23, 2014.. exact date talaga noh? di kasi yan yung original date namin.. Dapat December 17 kami pero may nauna na samin.. eh bet namin ni h2b na 3pm yung wedding para di masyado maaga mag prep for the wedding itself.. tamad kasi kami kumilos ng maaga haha...  and December 3 na lang ang available kaya binook na namin....

Agree with other sissies here.. if between 9am and 6pm, i'll go with 9am.. kasi sobrang late na matatapos ang wedding mo if 6pm.. siguro 6-8 yung mass then reception 8:30 or 9 to 11pm..

You may ask your relatives to go to Caleruega to pay for the reservation fee para makuha niyo yung slot na gusto nio..

This is very true sis ghelyn. Overseas bride here and ganyan din ako before we went back to PH for vacation. Nakakatawa pa, kase almost whole year [textspeak!] hinihingi ko hahaha, jahe pero binibigay pa rin naman nila.

Kwento ko lang sisses. Nung umuwi kami sa Pinas, una talaga namin ginawa ni H2B is pumunta sa Caleruega to book a slot. We booked initially [textspeak!] Sunday 3PM. Then after that, nag-dalawang isip kami kase baka ndi magmadali umuwi [textspeak!] guests kase may pasok kinabukasan. So aun, we chose Saturday morning instead, 9AM wedding. Nako, matindi tinding brainstorming namin to ni H2B but now we are happy planning our 9AM wedding.

Sa ngaun research galore ako ng OTD and reception venue...

Hi! I'm a March 2016 bride in Caleruega, until now I haven't booked a reception. I'm so fickle minded kasi. At first I liked Rosemont, but steep yung road going to the venue, kawawa yung guests na naka-heels. Second is Villa Ibarra, I loved the taal view from there kaya lang ang baba ng ceilling parang ang sikip ng ambience. Third is Bali Village, nice yung ceilling, may drapings na and malawak yung space kaya lang walang taal view. Gusto ko sana may taal view para matuwa din yung guests for pictures.😊 may masasuggest ba kayong wedding reception with taal view worth 50k below sana besides Taalena? Thank you!

sis Dawn11 mahogany place kayo? hindi kasi kami nakapag-ocular dun before and since mukhang kelangan namin mag-change ng venue ngayon, isa yan sa recommendations ng wedding coord namin. musta naman ang place? maganda ang labas? although yung atrium din balak namin if ever kasi august wedding. we wanted a venue na kahit paano similar with ville sommet. huhu.. ang hirap ng wala sa pinas and hindi makikita with our own eyes. mahirap this is it! feeling.

For other SADP brides, would you consider Club Ananda for reception venue? gusto ko rin kasi dun kaso malapit na siya sa COTH and Caleruega.

Hi sis, I'd say go for Villa Ibarra if gusto mo ng Taal View. And yung room nila na overlooking yung Taal, sobrang ganda. Have you seen that? Yung nagiisang room sa may bandang baba, parang nasa harap mo lang yung Taal haha

Sis priority ko din ang taal view at halos lahat ng nasa gilid eh nacheck ko na..

Balai Taal ang pinakamalayo and sulit kasi yung 3days and 2nights offer, sunod yata dito Estancia na but I did not check it kasi malayo din from Caleruega, next
Clearwater Residences maganda din kaso bitin ako sa view saka nasa 85k na ang offer nila then
Villa Ibarra - ang baba ng ceiling, dun ako na-sad.
Taal Vista Hotel very nice too but they don't allow outside caterer then I think
Rosemont na na puro forests sya though nice ambience but wlang wow factor..
Splendido I didn't bother to go down kasi late na nun past 5pm na wala ng office..

In the end Narra Hill kame 3x your budget price and still working out sa details..

Hill Creek - nice yung pavillion, dito may privacy ka compared kapag garden venue kasi hotel din sya
Mahogany Place - is a private one I like the princess theme for this, Cinderella talaga ang peg agad
Bali Village - yung main hall lang din nagustuhan ko

Nakaka-frustrate magplan ng wedding magisa haha! I mean my husband is in overseas kasi so depend lang sya sa photos. Syempre tayong brides we'll always imagine how will our day be, kung san tayo lalakad, anong ilalagay natin, nae-envision ba natin yung sarili natin dun! haha! I always wanted a simple one lang since kasal na kame sa Civil, good thing lang my husband feels what I feel kaya aun stretch ng budget! He always says it is your day and I want you to be happy.
