hey guys.. need help po. october na kasi ang wedding caleruega church. any suggestions po ng reception venue? pinagiisipan kasi namin either ville sommet or club ananda sandari batulao? or kung may iba pa po kayong bang suggestions, and also coordinator nadin kasi until now wala pa kami nahahanap thank you.

^Hi sis depende sa budget mostly and indoor/ outdoor preference pero my personal favorites are Hacienda Isabella and Angelfields. if medyo tighter ang budget but you want outdoor padin, there's the Glens, E Farm. Pwede rin Splendido, Mahogany Place.

Hi. Plan sana talaga namin outdoor kaso lang kasi oct wedding baka maulan kasi nun kaya indoor nalang siguro. Ok ba sa glens? Plan namin is ville sommet sana kaso super mahal naman nila haha

I highly recommend EMS by Anna Sotto for Tagaytay weddings. Magaling sila kumausap sa suppliers at super maasikaso OTD. They're a little bit pricey pero ang sikap makipagcommunicate at meetings to ensure na covered lahat.

^ Ditto on EMS by Anna Sotto. They were my friend's wedding coordinator. I like their uniforms and the fact that they have earpiece communication devices.

^ay naku sis, hesitant ako dati with EMS kasi hindi madaming reviews online sa kanila pero habang nakakasama ko sila sobrang nakakakampante kasi walang message na hindi nareplyan. Sila ang masugid magfollow up. They lead meetings with suppliers at OTD kulang na lang ipagnguya ako ng assigned PA ko kumain lang ako. Ang inaassign nilang PA sa bride and groom parang anino mo lang. Hindi ka hihiwalayan. OTD nagplantsa sila ng mga damit ng family namin, inasikaso ang mga bagay na pwede pang improve. Wala akong naging problem sa kanila at wala din akong maisip na di nila nagawa. Saludo ako kasi maski ang mama ko napasabi ng 'Pag kinasal kapatid mo kunin mo sila'. To think Team B pa ang nakaassign samin nun so hindi si Anna mismo ang head coordinator.

^ Nagplantsa talaga sila sis? WOW. Sulit na sulit.  Actually, fiance was the one who said he likes EMS, kasi nga we witnessed how they worked. Kaso on the pricey side so we haven't booked them yet. May I know sis how much you got them for? My friend got them for 20K but that was year.

Hi mga sisters, just wanna share with you our wedding, it was very intimate, simple but memorable for our family. We are based overseas and mahirap magayos ng wedding so we decided to do it very small, as in 20 lang kami, parents and siblings lang with anak ng mga kapatid namin, pero still nakagown and dress up kami.. reception is dun lang sa house na pinagstayan namin, I highly recommend bountykitchen.com for small and budgeted catering, 20k good for 50 person, samin na left overs, dahil after ng kainan nag beach kami punta fuego, so may food kami sa beach.

Sa sobrang solemn impromtu ang vow at naiyak si hubby nung sinasabi nya vow nya. Meron din kaming wedding stylist, Grass events and designs but very disappointed ako, I wouldn't recommend getting that as your supplier. We also had photo and video coverage. I recommend Martin digital video for video coverage,  I paid 30k for him kasi may special discount, ang editing nila pang abscbn, you can search for him in fb, sobrang galing, nung mapanuod namin wedding namin, parang napakalaki ng ginastos namin..haha Sa make up naman si Ms. Leah of the pink brush, siya kasi pinakamura. 9k for four persons, one airbrush and 3 traditional.

Our wedding was just a small event but I think naka 200k din kami dahil out of province pa kami. Caleruega Church nga pala kami, and we had our interview the day before ng wedding. Mas masungit pa yung staff ng Church kesa sa pari, si Ms. Sally. Kasi yung pari na naginterview samin, wala naman tinanong samin, sabi natutuwa pa nga daw siya at nagdecide kami magpakasal sa Church kasi civil wed lang kami before.

It was no stress wedding. If you are considering an intimate wedding go for it, kasi hindi kayo magsisi, our relatives and friends cannot complain na hindi namin sila ininvite kasi wala naman kami ininvite na iba so hindi sila magtatampo dahil sabi namin gusto namin parents and siblings lang. We had no principal sponsors. Ang nilagay naming ninong namin yung brother in law ni hubby, and yung ninang yung tita na nagpalaki sa husbang ko, na since birth kasama na nila sa bahay nila, just for papers lang. Ang candle and nagsabit ng veil and cords, yung kapatid namin.

Truelaloo! Nakita ko talagang nagpaplantsa yung PA ko ng damit ng pamangkin ko hahahah! Inayos din nila yung hawakan ng bouquet ko kasi ang galing ng florist ko. Bare talaga. Maayos sila mag execute. Upon arrival alam na nila lahat ng gagawin. Me kanya kanya na silang assignment. Ang timeline for the day strictly followed. Pagkatapos ng event, nakaligpit na lahat at nasa sasakyan na namin yung mga gamit. Di ko na alam kung sino ang nagkarga dun. Ultimo pang full payment sa lahat ng suppliers sa kanila ko inendorse at walang naging problema. Me presence of mind para magdeicide on things na pwedeng sila na ang magdecide.

hello sises! has anyone from here had their preps in One Tagaytay Place (Avant and Allure rooms)? I need your feedbacks. Our photographer didn't have yet photoshoot in that hotel e. Was this new or old na ba? Bakit they haven't shoot in it? natatakot tuloy ako, is that hotel "below standards" of the brides ba?

Sis nursemich, ang ganda ng wedding mo. Ganyan originally gusto namin but I think madidisappoint ang mga lola ko. Yung mga nauna kase saking nagpakasal, either civil or overseas so they're hoping na before they died, someone would get married in a traditional way. Ang ganda ng wedding mo, super like ko. Maybe sa renewal of vows na lang namin.

Btw, how's Diana of Pink Brush? We wanted to get her before I booked my HMUA pero wala siyang feedback dito sa GT.

^^^ sisses, ang mahal nga ng rates ng narra hill. humihirit ako discount pero grabe ang strict nila, ayaw magbigay unless iavail rental fee na 150k. sa iba may food na yun e. so rooms lang balak ko kunin for preps. sabi nya 3mos before the weddinglang nya macoconfirm yung rooms ko. balak ko kunin lahat ng rooms nila. then sabi ko gusto ko ng free prenup na. ayaw hahaha

We were able to meet Father Allen already.. He advised us to just let it go one month before the wedding..
So we'll make sure everything is settled na a month before (including guest list and their seats) and that also includes no GT na rin a month before the wedding..
Relax relax na lang..

hey sis! uu ako yung sa Casa, church ko San Antonio de Padua kami yung first time na nag-wedding dun...sana pumasok ka hehe, we don't mind naman. may 2 rooms pa kase na vacant sa baba, baka yun papakita nila. Si Arlene ba kausap mo? She's nice. We got nice feedback sa Casa Alegria from the guests mas napansin nila yung view kesa sa steep road some even will go back there para mag-stay. Di naman daw sila nahirapan mag-park kase may tanod naman to assist. Malaking bagay yung tanod talaga.

eto kababalik lang namin from honeymoon yesterday...maganda naman feedback ng wedding, though syempre hinde mawawala yung mga negative comments. atat na nga ko magbigay ng rating sis...so eto na heheh

1. Casa Alegria (preps and reception venue) - 9/10, 9 kase dapat 1 room na lang kami the following day kaso hinde namin naalis mga gamit sa 2 rooms kaya nagbayad pa tuloy kami ng 1 night. So kasalanan namin to hehe. Happy ang mga guests sa view! Walang ginawa kundi mag-picture habang naghihintay sa amin. Wala ko masyadong narinig na nagrereklamo sa parking since madaming tanod na nag-assist sa kanila.  Ang ganda ng prep pics din and Arlene is super helpful Nag-lagay kami ng bulbs sa mango tree, pinalagay nya sa mga tao nya without extra fee.

2. Mixology OTD and Emcee - 6/10, sa kanila lang ako medyo na-stress ng araw na iyon, medyo lang kase naka-program na sa utak ko na kahit ano pang mangyari sa araw na iyon hinde ko iitindihin. Ang dami nila pero feeling ko walang use yung iba (sorry sa term). Una, at pinaka-ayaw ko na nangyari, binuksan nila yung pinto ng church na hinde pa kami ready sa labas. Inaayos pa ni designer yung damit ko, nagpi-picture pa sila Photo at Video. Nangyari kase nag-play kagad yung song...eh ang cue nun after 10secs bubuksan na door. Nag-practice yung mga bubukas ng door (coord din) since maaga sila pumunta sa church. So ang problema eh bkit na-play yung song na hinde pa nag-go si coord sa labas. Buti na lang mabilis naka-alis yung mga nag-aayos sa akin at nakatayo na ko ng maayos, hinde nahalata ng mga tao sa loob ng church na nagkakagulo pa kami sa labas. Narinig ko nga yung videographer galit na galit. Ginawa inulit namin yung pagpasok ko sa door after ng mass.
2nd, na-prepare ko na yung stub for the souvenirs, sa guests excel sheet ko nilagay ko sino bibigyan para during registration pa lang maabot na yung stub. Hinde nila daw nakita yung column na yun so iniisa isa ulit nila mga guests for the stubs.
3rd, emcee called on my deceased dad during acknowledgements ng VIPs, hinde ba nya nakita sa invitation na may + sa tabi ng name ng father ko, supposed to be kuya ko yung dapat nyang tinawag eh. Sorry, pero hinde rin sya magaling mag-emcee. Yun din feedback ng mga guests ko sa kanya. May mga patay momements daw.

On a positive note, maayos sila mag-asikaso ng gamit ko, lahat well-kept, walang nawala. And yung nag a-assist sa groom eh laking tulong. Yung nag-assist sa akin, hinde ko naramdaman hehe...anyway, I don't need assistance naman that day except buhatin yung trail ko na ginawa ng mga kasama ng designer ko.

How's your wedding btw? Congratulations! Pwedeng patingin your pictures and video when they're available na?

Sis dcpdane, what if you just book all their rooms through airbnb instead of waiting 3 months before your wedding? Feeling ko kasi nagpapakasafe sila. What if someone wants to book the whole place on your wedding date? Of course they'll give it to the person paying 150K rental fee instead of you who's just renting the rooms.

Sis tjmax, who's your florist sis? Gusto ko na talaga EMS, will try to haggle for a discount. haha.

3. Myio Okamoto Photography and Rewind Media (videographer) - 10/10, young and talented. Magaan sila katrabaho. They went to the wedding ng naka-longsleeves and ties. My designer ask me kung sila ba yung photo and video, sabi ko oo, very professional daw ang dating. Delivers on time din. I'm planning to give something sa kanila, hinde ko kase naasikaso nung wedding. Dito napunta ang malaking chunks ng budget but the guests said, sobrang sulit na daw. Sa prenup pa lang solve na daw sila.

4. Cake-ables - 9/10, sarap ng cake! carrot at chocolate yung flavor. nakuha naman nila yung design na ko gusto ko mas dark lang ng konti.

5. Florist (Ill Fiore) - 10/10, gustong gusto ng groom ko yung mga flowers and boutonnieres. Hinde kami nagsabi ng particular na flowers na gusto namin. Yung kulay lang na babagay sa mga damit. Turned out nicely done. I believe magaling talaga si Bhem sa arrangements, I went to her house nakita ko yung mga working room nya, ang ganda ng mga pieces nya pang-event styling, wala lang akong budget for styling pero nakita ko mga gawa nya magaganda. Plus super bait kausap 

6. Queensland - 9/10, hinde ko ine-expect pero sila yung umani ng pinakamaraming ok na reviews. The food was superb daw. 10/10 rate nila. Lahat daw masarap and sosyal ang dating. I chose kase yung mga hinde common na menu, pero hinde namin natikman karamihan sa menu namin except the US Slow Roast Beef Belly and Chicken Iberian. The appetizer was serve while they are waiting for us, solve na sila sa soup and mango pomelo salad. While we were walking per table for picture taking, they are asking what soup daw yun kase ang sarap sarap. It's broccoli soup by the way The setup is beautiful para kaming kumuha ng stylist. Daming flowers sa gitna tapos may wood sya for rustic theme. The linen is parang katsa lang tapos may jute fabric na runner. Simple and yet elegant ang dating. My only problem is nagkulang kami sa rice, 20 persons ata hinde nakakain ng rice, so pasta na lang. Hinde ko alam kung malakas lang talaga kumain mga bisita pero yung iba gusto pang mag-2nd round hinde na umabot since ubos na food.

7. Data Couture (bridal gown and ento gown) -  10/10 - after ng wedding people are asking me sino gumawa ng gown ko. Kakaiba daw gown ko, simple yet elegant. And super comfortable nya, I even danced after the wedding wearing my gown. The fit is perfect.

8. Obra (band) - 10/10 - ka-level ng queensland sa all positive reviews, super galing!!! even other suppliers are asking the name of the band.. they we're able to play this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ba_WoSZXvw kahit 1 day before ko na sinabi. They sang Girl on Fire during father-daughter dance, galing ng rendition  Sulit ang pagpunta namin sa Sta. Rosa Laguna para lang manuod ng gig nila.

been a lurker since i got engaged last year. i tried to register but the activation emails got stuck in my junk mail and today was the day of discovery! 

posting my first reply. finally, i can hop in na sa convo. yay!

imma May 2016 overseas bride at Caleruega. booked Rosemont as reception and preps venue through Town's Delight. booked na rin my p/v without meeting them. really happy with Rex of wedoitforlove as or photog- very funny and easy to talk to. bit delayed in sending contract but understandable naman. Dreamechanics naman for our video - very professional sila kausap. goodluck na lang sa rapport tough i'm not worried kasi i read really good reviews for them here:)

with more than a year pa to prepare - i feel stuck kasi di ko na alam what's next to book since i booked na all my major suppliers 

i think for the meantime, focus muna ako sa pagbawas ng flabs:D
