hello co-tagaytay brides!

can you give me suggestions naman na maganda for wedding preps na hotel, yung kasya buong pamilya (family of 6 + 2 kids), then pwedeng pasingitin ang 5 female entourage ko during ayusan of morning (kasi naka-package sa akin yung HMUA for them). I prefer hotel kasi gusto ko may stairs during photoshoot of preps and hindi kami magkakitaan ng groom ko during the day but we want to have same place para mas madali magcoordinate and no additional charge and intindihin for our photographers and coordinators.

Initially, we planned to have our wedding preps in Bali Village Hotel, but mejo hesitant ako now kasi parang hindi akma with our theme na rustic na fahion week. So now, mejo cramming to look for a hotel for our wedding preps (overseas bride here, huhu, then July na this year ang wedding namin). Are Taal Vista's rooms ok sa size of my requirements ba? Our church is Caleruega.

Thank you in advance sa mga magsusuggest.

God bless us more.

Hi, Sisters -

I'll be getting married in Nuvali and I am looking for a preps area. We considered Seda Hotel, which is the nearest, but they have a lot of restrictions and they don't have big suites. We are considering other options. It can be a house, villa, casita, somewhere in Tagaytay or Cavite.

Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Hi sis jonah_banana . I hope they'll get back to you soon. I know stressful yan.. but I think your coordinator had a premature birth at 8 months.. siguro may mga inaasikaso pa lang for the baby but if nasabi nman na nag turn over na..follow up na lang sis. :) one thing siguro kaya di rin nasabi last july maybe because 2 months pa lang noon na preggy.

Hi mga sis! No worries. Yesterday, fiance called her and nag explain naman sya ng maayos. Nagtuloy na ulit kami ng update for the detailing. Anyway, we'll be doing a meeting naman before the suppliers arrive sa prep.

^Hi sis we did an ocular in Hillcreek as we were considering it as a potential venue.

Basic summary is it has both indoor and outdoor venue options but you may have to choose to use just one since hindi sila directly accessible to each other. One is a 2nd floor function room (black and white tiles so it may go with certain themes and not with others) and an outdoor garden na curved with a small pond. For the garden you can utilize the adjacent smaller garden for your cocktails.

Good points- nice entrance, has affordable reception packages already, nice staff, nice name of venue (superficial, I know, but you wouldn't want an ugly-named venue stated in your invitations, right? Forever na yun e :p)

Why we didn't book it - it's an operating hotel so there will be other guests around the area, hindi private. Rooms were sort of expensive to book as well, and the garden did not meet our standards (pa-curved a bit so may part na hindi mauutilize). The garden does not yet have substantial lights so you will need to provide your own. They have parking daw enough for your guests but we didnt see it na-- the driveway inside is quite narrow and splits the two garden lots, maybe its somewhere else.

If you're after a garden / outdoor venue, would recommend to also check out Hacienda Isabella and Angelfields. :)

^Yay! Thanks for the info sissy!

We're planning to visit the place on Sunday as well and I only have few guests - max of 100 but I'm eyeing on the Garden venue as the personnel awhile ago told me we can use it..

few questions
Is the garden big enough for the capacity of 500? as per your description it looks not? is it accessible to the hotel guests also? how about the closed venue areas??

Thanks!

^Sis i dont think 500 will fit (comfortably) in the garden. We inquired for only 200 when we went but it already seemed na magagamit even the curved areas (which we didn't like because the view wouldn't be good). 100 pax ka lang naman diba?

The hotel wont stop operating during the reception i think so guests can still go down the lobby and near the pool area and driveways and such i think.

For bigger garden venues, maybe best to check Hacienda Isabella and Angelfields (these would both fit 400-500 i think based on our ocular). :)

Hello mga sis! I'm back. haha. Napaka busy mag scout ng suppliers through Internet.

I'm planning to rent  sana para ihatid yung mga guest from church to venue.

Thanks! :)

Graduate na kami!!! Sa wakas. hehe

Nagkaroon ng major issue with out OTD. So on the day, super palpak ang naging performance nila. We trusted her that her team can deliver dahil nakapag turn over daw sya. sadly, super nastress ako. It was a very good decision to bring my friends to our prep area. Sila yung halos tumayong OTD namin yesterday. Sila yung naglabas ng frustrations and they made us feel stress free pa din.

Going back to their performance, tama din [textspeak!] naunang review na late sila. I requested them to be at the prep area 1 hour before the call time para makapag turn over kami ng mga materials ng maayos (we had a very "walang kwentang" meeting on the day before, btw). They arrived 30 minutes late. Nauna pa dumating yung photographer namin and nagstart na sila to take pictures of the items (gown, coat, accessories, etc.), so syempre kami ni husband ang nag asikaso. They were the 3rd supplier to arrive (2nd was our videographer).

1. Dumating [textspeak!] asawa nya hindi nakabihis ng maayos, striped polo shirt and maong jeans. Take note, sya ang leader according to the staff. Lol
2. Walang radio for communication purpose. Nakakaloka dahil medyo humihina signal ng networks during the preps.
Samantalang dapat alam nila ang dapat gawin upon arrival, right?
4. Dumating yung florist, ako pa din inaapproach ni Mr. Main coord regarding payments while on the day before, i told them to coomunicate such details including payment settlement sa entourage, either MOH or Bridesmaid.
As in. So syempre nagutom sila agad. Buti na lang nagprepare kami ng survival kits for them.
Take note, di ako inalok ng late lunch man lang. Gutom at uhaw ang inabot ko. At wala man lang syang bag na lagayan nya ng kit, i.e. tissue etc. Medyo slow sya.
Kasi wala silang sewing kit. Buti na lang nagprepare ako ng survival kits ko because I dont want to be reliable sa kanila. During the dress up pictorial, hindi ko na mapigil na pinagalitan yung assistant ko kung bakit wala silang sewing kit na dala. Haaaay, wala syang nasagot. Parang walang narinig.

The most important thing is tapos na at makakapag relax ka na sis..
