Hi sis, yes may babayarang fees sa OLAN Parish sa Lemery bukod pa sa Chapel On The Hill. 12K sa COTH while may 7,150 payment sa OLAN. Total fees shall be 19,150. Yung stipend sa priest separate pa yun.

Next week on the day before the wedding, punta muna kami sa OLAN para isubmit [textspeak!] banns then saka lang namin malalaman kung sino yung assigned priest sa amin. We did not pursue getting Fr. Allen na due to personal reason.

Sisses help naman, we plan to get Fr. Gerry Orbos to officiate our wedding, does anyone here know how to go about this process? Like how do we actually ask him? Or does he only do weddings for close kin?
My fiance has had prior interface with him although I would doubt that they are close.

Second, ano ba binibigay sa officiating priest pag ganun na special request? Lalo na ako out of town pa. So at least hotel room and transpo right?

Thanks!

10K [textspeak!] downpayment sa kanila then magbabayad ka ng 2K 1 month before the wedding. Verify mo with Jen, sya ang nag aassist sa amin lag COTH concerns.

Yung sa banns, 3 consecutive sundays yun before your wedding date. Isasubmit mo yun sa OLAN bago kayo ikasal.

To those asking for COTH's, I only have Jen's globe mobile. In my experience, madali nman sya ma-kontak. Don't inquire during Mondays kasi walang pasok ang mga offices ng church. Konting patience lang din mga sis, kasi madami talagang couple ang nag iinquire sa kanila.

When we had an ocular visit 6 months ago, right there and then ni-book na namin yung church. Kaya na-explain na din nya sa amin [textspeak!] fees and other details related to submission of the requirements.

2,150 for the Docs processing fee
5,000 share for COTH (but this will be settled sa OLAN Parish pa din)

Hi mga kabride..im just worried for our night wedding in caleruega and rosemont garden venue..kasi 6pm na yung available time for ceremony in caleruega kasi nagpalit kame ng date which is originally is 3pm-5pm kame so sakto lang sa dinner sana then suddenly we need to change our date so 6pm na lang available kasi its december and talagang wala na available na slot for 3pm..im just worried kasi baka konti lang pumunta kapag sobra gabi na magstart or matapos..or baka hindi sila magtagal sa reception.and im worrying pa about sa kalabasan ng photos namin kasi gabi nga.so do you think ok parin ang night wedding?any suggestion na pwede namin gawin para naman hindi sila mainip or antukin sa night wedding.and baka may pwede kayo isuggest na pwede pagstayan ng bisita namin na gusto magovernight na malapit lang sana sa rosemont garden na di naman sobra mahal..TIA

^^Sis particular ka ba sa pictures? Kasi if oo (like my fiance who is a budding photog too), the best time for pictures is really 3-4:30pm siguro. December eh so patay na ang pics by around 5pm, dull and dark. Im a December bride too, and my fiance specifically asked that we get the 1pm slot para by 3-5pm nagsshoot kami while the guests are having cocktails. Of course the pro photographers will find a way makita pa faces nyo, pero as he said, they can only do so much. Garden venue pa kami and we really want to maximize the "greens" in pictures before the reception. Gusto namin bright ad happy.

6-8pm ang ceremony, sis? Parang ang haba and ang late nadin, usually dinnertime is 6-7pm start or else gutom na guests. If i were you i would rather choose a different date, than have my guests starve until 8 or 8:30pm for dinner (already happened to me, nakakaloka lang kahit pa may mamon sa cocktails at 4:30/ 5pm--- not worth the ire of your guests gutumin sila til 8pm).

Also, kung 8pm magstart reception mo, anong oras na matatapos yun? Kawawa mga uuwi pa sa Manila or di magsstay overnight in Tagaytay... kami our reception programme is 5:30-8:30 pm then party DJ nalang yung 2-3 hours after para walang antok and makauwi pa sila safe :)

Hope this helps.

San galing ang mga guests (majority of them)? Anong date yan? May pasok ba kinabukasan? As in wala nang ibang available schedule except that?

Hi sis... One thing to settle the guests maybe,  try finding an accommodation for them.. para di sila aalis agad or magmamadali. Papahinga overnight then travel the next day. So kahit late ang wedding mo.. walang uuwi agad.. tas make sure din na super ok ang food at serve ka ng cocktails kung medyo late ang dinner :)

Yes sis im particular to the picture and thats one of our problem.baka ang mangyari hindi nanamin sundin yung pamahiin na dapat sa church na kame magkita.baka before ceremony mag photoshoot na kame para maliwanag pa.we dont have choice talaga kasi puro 6pm na slot sa december.nastress ako bigla kasi matagal ng ok lahat then now lang talaga nakapagchange bigla ng date para makaattend mga tita ko dito sa canada.sa mga friends namin maybe wala naman maging problema carry magpuyat ng mga yun.problem is mga matanda and kids..antok na sila.
