same tayo sis! lately ko lang sya napanood and di ko lam kung maaawa ba ako sa husband or not..kasi medyo naging psychopath na kasi si Amy..medyo nakakatakot na  but i understand her kung bakit nagkaganun ang lahat haha!

Depressing films are those that leave me dumbfounded and really sad long after I've turned off the TV or gone outside the movie house. There are a lot of movies that leave me feeling like this. At the moment, however, these are the ones that I can think of:

-Grave of the Fireflies - really, really heartbreaking movie by the master Hayao Miyazaki. It's about an orphaned brother and sister caught in the middle of the war.
-Lord of the Flies - young boys stranded in a remote island after their plane crashes. They do everything that they can to survive; with some even thinking of killing the others - for survival.
-Schindler's List - because I know it happened in real life.
-Gone Girl - depressing, but definitely one of my favorite movies of all time! The book is more complete than the movie, of course; so I know some things that those who didn't read the book don't. Gillian Flynn is awesome, and I love her, even if her stories are mostly dark (think Dark Places)
-Like Water for Chocolate - a very painful love story I will not forget for a long, long time.

For local films, it has to be Magnifico and Norte: Hangganan ng Kasaysayan.

The Road - depressing and really stressful. I don't know why I even made myself finish it.
Awakenings - tearjerker. one of those movies that I'm glad I got to see but would never watch again, mabigat for me.
