December 2015 bride din ako at sa Baguio naman ang wedding ko..sa totoo lang, wala pa kaming nabobook kahit isa! haha! pero ipush na namin ng December..kung tutuusin, kaya pang magprepare ng 8-9 months..madami kang magagawa niyan..if you will back read sa mga thread dito sa GT, you will find some b2bs na 8-9 months lang din nagprepare and their wedding went well..April pa din kami magbobook kasi hintayin ko pa magbakasyon h2b ko pero sa ngayon may mga iniscout ako at kinakausap na mga suppliers para pagdating ni h2b, magbobook na kami..i guess ang maganda gawin ay maghanap ng mga suppliers na gusto naitin yung output, check their reviews and client feedback then pag may chance, meet them personally and check their works..but first and foremost, set a budget sis tas ayun nga decide on the venue..maraming magagaling sa Tagaytay area sis at sa tingin ko,may mga mahahanap ka..with the help of our sisses here in GT, magiging maayos ang wedding mo..

Sis mlgj, kaya pa naman ang 8-9 months. But my honest advice is to book first your church and venue. Without those, technically hindi pa secure ang iyong date. And all other suppliers you will book are going to be hinged on that date. The unfortunate scenario could be may gusto na kayong date tapos since you booked your P/V na, nalaman mong di pala sila pwede on that date. The only time you will really secure all your booked suppliers is with a set date, which starts with the church and venue.
We learned this also from personal experience. Dami dami ko nang ni-research pero wala ako mabook until napako ko yung dalawa.

Hi Sis, salamat sa advice. Sinet namin yung wedding by Monday para kahit papaano safe yung date. Yung ceremony & reception sa iisang venue lang namin gagawin. Nagpapanic lang siguro ako kasi feeling ko ang dami ko pa hindi nagagawa.

hi sis, overseas bride here.. june 2015 kami but we started preps around September last year, so that's 9 months in total, so if you're asking if that's feasible, yes it is. make sure you book your coordinator ASAP  so she can help you organise everything you need. December is an in-demand month for couples so might as well look for church na and venue. are you having a destination wedding or a weekday wedding?

^sis mlgj kaya yan. yung sa akin nga 5 months lang namin prepare. yun nga lang overseas bride ka.magpatulong ka na lang sa mga friends and relatives mo na nandito sa Pinas. Sa March yata may Bridal Fair sa SMX if im not mistaken. Pero dapat mauna muna ang church at reception venue na mareserve kasi dun magdedepend kung available ang mga suppliers na gusto mo.

Yung materials na binili namin sis is pang-outdoor, wires and socket. Pwede naman daw pang-outdoor, mas mahal nga lang sya

sis mlgjm kaya yan sis.. if overseas ka naman you can always hire a wedding coordinator mas alam nila kung ano ang dapat mong gawin. coordinator will be the one to help you out sa lahat ng needs mo. actually 8-9 months is enough foryou to prepare, may iba nga na 4-5 month lang ang prep pero naitatawid naman talaga nila ng maayos yung wedding.

Sis mlgj, before deciding on whether or not you'll move the wedding date, check with the church first if they still have available slots for your wedding then proceed from there. However, since your wedding is on December, it's highly likely that most of the churches and venues in Tagaytay are already booked. My suggestion is to move it if you want a particular church or venue or supplier (a must-have for you and fiancé) but the same is/are already booked. Don't compromise if it'll make you and him unhappy.

Actually, fiancé and I also have just 9 months to plan the wedding. We got engaged last December but we haven't booked anything yet. We will get married this October 2015. The good thing is, we'll be having a weekday wedding (the date is really special for us, we'll be celebrating our 11th year as a couple), so most of the suppliers are still available.

Sis gi_jane101112, Sis sparklingjewel at Sis imprincessfiona , thank you sa encouragements ninyo. Super natutulungan ako mag calm down. Dapat talaga ma-finalize na namin ang venue. Gusto kasi namin garden wedding, sana may mga available slots pa since weekday naman yung wedding namin.

Sis belle_v2g , Tagaytay wedding talaga gusto namin kasi yung weather para sa mga bisita maganda. Monday ang sinet namin na date. Sis, ilang beses ka pala umuwi to check on the details of the wedding? Sa akin kasi, wala talaga ako mabibilinan to check things for me.

Sis ms_teryosa , iniisip ko din kumuha ng Wedding Coordinator. Parang mas gusto ko yung Semi-Coordination kasi gusto ko din talaga maging hands on at may mga list naman kami ng gusto naming suppliers like sa caterer K by Cunanan yung napupusuan namin.

Sis Crammer Planner , Congrats sa 11th year! Weekday wedding din kami. Hoping for the best since wedding ceremony + venue isa lang naman for us.

weekday wedding din kami sis and hindi talaga kami nahirapan sa pagbook ng suppliers. lahat ng first choice namin, available pa.    unless na lang may something special dun sa date nyo na weekday lets say, 15-15-15, im sure you wont have much problems in booking your suppliers. happy preps sis!

oo nga sis! church and venue muna! yan din natutunan ko dito since i've been lurking this thread when i got engaged, june 2014. january 2015 started booking na. december 2015 bride din ako hopefully ma-push through. true yung sinabi ng iba nating sisses dito na usually yung mga gusto mong suppliers eh booked na ng december but I believe God's way will work through. prayers din sis!! kaya yan!! AJA!

hi sis newbie here and overseas december bride.. anyone here po na ang venue sa Pasatiempo,Montecito Nuvali or Ayala West grove? Kailangan po ba homeowner or may alam kayo accredited na caterer? Thank you mga sis:) Good luck to us.
