Kahit meron, schedule a meeting na lang and make lambing hehe baka pumayag. Otherwise, let go..at least you tried. Ganun talaga pag change of heart.

How many percent of the total amount yung dp nyo if you don't mind sis? Maybe you can request a downgrade? Say, OTD without emcee.. tell them na lang na someone in the family would like to shoulder the payment for the emcee but they want someone else (or a family friend kunwari) to do it.. shux, lame excuse ba? 😅

Hi sis, we've paid around 70% already. 30% will be paid on wedding day itself. I already told OTD about our predicament, didn't make excuses na. Hehe. I haven't asked for a discount so thanks for the downgrade idea. We'll discuss it when we meet her again for the turnover

I'm a newbie here! Im married na last Dec30'05 in a civil wedding then last Jan 11 2015 my husband asked me to Marry him again in a Church Wedding (Dec30 2015). and of course my answer is a big YES!  (finally after 18 years together as couple and 9years as husband and wife, a dream come true to walk down the aisle. )

But the prep was not that easy, I thought its too early pa to prepare but till now Im having a hard time booking a church.. my 1st option is to have a Tagaytay wedding,,I called up Caleruega, San Antonio de PAdua, Our Lady of Lourdes but to my disappointment all churches were fully booked!. 

2nd option is to scout somewhere in Cavite since we are from Cavite.My husband would go for vintage/modern theme and Kawit Church would be definitely a perfect one for us. but unfortunately they cannot accept booking as early as now... (so much stress talaga) how can I proceed with the booking of the venue and other suppliers if i havent book the church yet? the reason is that, there will be a rigodon of priests all over Cavite.

Im planning na nga to send an email to CBCP to at least enlighten me why other churches are not willing to accept pencil booking diba despite the wedding is very sacred regardless of the reshuffle of the priests,  magpapalit din ba ng mga rules and regulations ang mga priests?

any comment po? or better to change nalang the church? pero i really loved kawit church...

hi sis jajasmin! congratulations on your wedding and welcome to GT! about your problem, medyo mahirap talaga magbook ng church especially pag december wedding. and even if you find a church that's still available on your wedding date, you will have limited options na for other suppliers because most of them are also booked already. if you can back read some of the threads here, you'll find out na most of the december brides made their bookings at least 1 year before or some 2 years ago pa. sa church naman, iba iba kasi ang policies ng mga church regarding reservations. some talaga dont accept pencil booking, others nga ask for full payment agad. kailangan kasi tayo ang mag adjust sa policies ng church na gusto natin. i suggest you start scouting for other churches na lang and start looking for suppliers but keep making kulit Kawit Church if when sila mag open for booking kung gusto mo talaga doon. good luck and happy planning!

sis jajasmin why don't you try St Benedict Church in Ayala Westgrove Heights Silang it's a really nice church

Hi sis jajasmin, I'm one of the Dec 30 brides in Tagaytay and actually I booked one of the churches you mentioned last Sept or Oct 2014 pa. Back then we already had a hard time getting a slot and had to give up the Dec 20 and Dec 27 preferred dates namin kasi pati yung venue availability kailangan iconsider (Angelfields ako in Silang). So there, we ended up with Dec 30 when both were available.

You can consider St. Benedict in Nuvali or Chapel on the Hill, although i personally didnt like Benedict kasi super strict, it really limits the P/V from getting all the nice angles. Mahal pa.

Other option mo is ot change date or have a Manila wedding, para less competition kasi more churches here.

sis @ jheajen , we cannot change the date kasi it is our 10th year wedding anniversary kaya kame mag church wedding. but luckily, there's 1 church (our 2nd option) who accommodate early booking and naka pencil book napo kame.. I will just visit the church this Saturday for reservation..

Same tayo sis.. our wedding date apparently fell on a Tuesday and we can't change it either coz it's our 3rd year wedding anniversary too.
