May question ako sisses, how did you decide kung anong oras ng ceremony and reception? We are finalizing our theme and motif kase and I realized na mas maganda yung theme namin on a daytime wedding. Ang original namin na ceremony time was 3PM, ang gusto pa nga ni fiance is sunset ceremony, as in 5-6PM. Pero finalizing the details that we want, mas bagay sya sa daytime wedding. I had a friend na 7:30AM yung ceremony, then 10-3PM yung reception. Iniisip ko tuloy kung anong mas okay. If ever magdaytime ceremony kami, siguro around 9 or 10AM, then lunch reception until gabi na yun. Pero si fiance mas bet nya na gabi para daw mas party mode ang mga tao. Hehe. Hirap magdecide tuloy.

Kami nagdecide based on the shots that we want. Hahaha.. Early dinner kami para meron kami daytime and night time shots. Tsaka inisip din namin what time mag-start preparation time. Eh ayaw namin gumising ng sobrang maaga dahil for sure late na kami makakatulog the night before.

Sis simang, my fiance is a budding photog, and he was adamant that our ceremony be over before 3pm (ours will be 1-2:30pm then 30min travel) so that we can maximize the best lighting and take pictures until 5pm. Our reception will start at 5 or 5:30. We know the gap is long, but we'll just arrange for cocktails, a band, and some activities. Non-negotiable samin yung good pictures.

Since I'm a Dec bride, the sky will be darker earlier, it's highly likely that by 5pm the pictures would not be as good anymore even with artificial lighting. I went to a similar wedding last Dec and by 5pm, super dull na, not nice anymore for pictures.

Hi mga sis..naku yan nga din problema ko talaga..6pm pa kasi yung ceremony namin sa tagaytay..and im so particular sa picture..kaso no choice na kame for the slot kasi december..originally 3pm din kame ng early december kaso we change the date kaya wala na kame naabutan 3pm slot.so 6pm na lang available..so we dont know what to do para sa picture.

^ jheajen, saan and reception mo? If sa hotel ok lang kasi most pics niyo pwede indoors. Yung venue ko kasi is Manila Polo Club. So dapat maabutan talaga namin na may natural light. Or else, wala naman lobby na nice for pictures and polo club.

Sis sa rosemont garden yung venue..so outdoor..haha..so di talaga maging ok sa picture..so maybe magkita muna kame ni h2b before the ceremony kaso wala na kame ilolook forward sa church kase nagkita na kame(hindi na masyado emotional)so maybe i will ask our p/v ano yung dapat namin gawin..but our church(caleruega)is very nice in the evening..

We went to divi for my b2b's 1st fitting. and okay naman. wala pa yung mga beads and etc sa gown kaya plain pala yung gown nya.

Ako naman, nagpasukat na ako ng suit ko, originally budget is 5.5k for an Armani tela, pero nakita ko yung mas malambot sa armani. Orig price nun is 8k daw, pero natawaran ko naman hanggang 7k. KR90 ata yung name ng tela na gagamitin. hehe.

Thanks sa replies girls. Hindi pa din kami makadecide on the time. We will probably move the ceremony to 2PM para may araw pa for pictorials after. Actually hindi ko masyadong concern ang photos sa gabi kase problema na ng photographer yun lol. Ang main concern namin is yung theme mismo nung wedding. We are frustrated beach-couple kase haha kaya gusto pa din namin ipush ang spring/summer theme kahit November wedding kami. Kaya parang mas appropriate sya for a daytime wedding.

Yung friend ko who had her wedding at 730AM, 2AM ang prep time nya. Like, I can't even. Lol. Pero 3PM done na ang reception.

Sis okay lang yun, let your photographer do the magic, lol. Usually nga mas dramatic ang shots sa gabi.

Hi bro, sinong couturier nyo sa divi? Hmm yung mga beadworks usually ilalagay pa yan after final fitting. Still following the pamahiin na wag isusukat ang gown before the wedding at baka di matuloy ang kasal. Hehe. Kaya pag fitting talaga wala pang details

Yung suit mo na 7k, suits+vest+pants na yun?

Has any of you cancelled on any of your suppliers? Were you able to get a refund?

We already have an emcee, which is included in our OTD package. Now, I'm thinking of replacing her. Considering that I just had a change of heart and that our emcee did nothing wrong, I am willing to forego with any payment made. However, both my mum and fiance are insisting that I ask for a discount or a partial refund from my OTD.

Should I still ask for a discount/partial refund from my OTD? Ang dyahe kasi mangulit, to explain, etc. If emcee is at fault, dun mangungulit talaga ako and all. Pero, in my case, nagbago lang talaga isip ko.

^ano terms nung payment niyo sa kanila? Refundable or non-refundable? Most of our prospective suppliers kasi non-refundable yun downpayment/reservation fee.

^Yes, DPs/reservation fees are normally non-refundable. We understand that. What my mum and fiance are insisting ay for us to get a discount /partial refund because we're no longer getting the services of the emcee which is included in the package of our On the Day coordinator. Kasi diba the full payment is made on the wedding day itself.

^Thanks sis. True, sayang din. I think I just feel a little guilty. I honestly don't like cancelling on any of our suppliers. Pero I'll try na rin siguro, but if OTD refuses, I'll stop at that. I don't want to stress myself.  Hehe.
