I like buying small knick-knacks na puede kong gamitin for the house. As per description, knick-knacks are supposed to be small worthless items for the home; pero for me, nagiging useful sila kasi I find a way to use them. Especially for organizing a room or corner. Although I do not have any IKEA products, my cousins and other relatives have some and they've been using them for years. Padala nga lang from SG and Canada. Ok naman daw 'yung mga IKEA items nila. According to a cousin who loves redesigning and re-arranging their home regularly, she finds them useful and aesthetically pleasing. Hindi naman daw sila like katulad ng mga intricately-designed furniture or home furnishings, especially in terms of physical appearance, pero ok naman daw kasi they make your rooms look cleaner and more pleasing to the eyes.

Anyway, I'd be a regular if IKEA opened a store in the Philippines. 'Yun nga lang, I live in Cagayan de Oro, so medyo malaking gastos pa rin kasi I'd need to travel to Manila if I'd want to buy IKEA stuff. Better than having to go to SG or Canada, or Thailand, though. hehe.

^I like the little abubots sa Ikea. When abroad at naglalakad around Ikea, nakakarami din sa padampot-dampot ng mga small stuff. Haha. I like their zipped storage bags too.

I like their bookcases and storage cabinets din, tagal na nung ibang bookcases namin, maayos pa din. Yung mga sofa and beds, parang hindi pang-matagalan. For kids' rooms siguro, pwede na.

What do you have to dispose sis?

Meron akong 2 rusch wall clocks, 2 varpan bathroom sets, 1 lint roller, 1 17-pcs prutasaver (food keeper) and 2 17-pc Fixa Basic home tool

Reliable po ba ang mga mattresses ng IKEA? Meron na bang IKEA here in the philippines, to begin with? LOL

^ wala pa sa pinas at the moment pero based sa isang article magkakaron in the future. About mattresses ng ikea, cabinets and other stuff pag sale lang naman ako bumibili so for me ok naman din for its price. Items we bought in ikea malaysia from 2011 are still with us pa rin naman at the moment even the kitchenware nagagamit pa rin namin dito abroad. Di na namin to iuuwi sa pinas when the time comes, hassle pa to sa shipping and nasulit naman na ang gamit. Hehe!

^Because furnitures in Ikea are not made of solid wood tipong it is not "real" furniture. It has a connotation that only college kids buy it. I like Ikea for mga little things pero yun nga if I want furniture, I buy from furniture shops talaga.

So i've heard. Kahit sa 2 Broke Girls namention sila negatively eh lol. Kaya nga i prefer din kung dun sa mga furnitures shop din bibili ng mga chairs and tables for me eh. I'm excited kung ano kalalabasan ng Ikea dito sa pinas.

For major furniture siguro better if you invest in real solid wood. Otherwise, Ikea is fine for small items.

I had my carpenter copy some designs of Ikea, for personal use.

Is there any news if Ikea will be opening in Manila soon? 

There's already H&M Home and Crate and Barrel.  I hope Ikea considers opening a huge branch with restaurant here.

I heard Ikea will be opening in mall of asia complex area daw. under construction na daw
try also to check Megaoffice Surplus magaganda mga items nila.  I was able to buy a lot of furniture from them . sulit dito.  meron silang second hand, refurbish at branch new furniture

When we were just starting, we bought Ikea furniture which we have till now, seldom used though. Recently, we bought an Ikea sofa bed knowing that it is not to last long, but for practical reasons. Ikea's furniture design is nice to look at, functional. I buy small things at this store, a vase, candle, some kitchen gadgets but really, I would not be so proud to announce that my house is an Ikea home; not that there is something wrong with that concept, its just that, Ikea for me are for starters or condo/apartment living.

Yup for practical use.  May mga stores sa Pinas na may mga Ikea stuff.  Grabe nakakapanlumo yun prices.  If you have never been to Ikea shop, medyo ok na yun price compared to other furniture.  Nabasa ko late 2020 dadating ang Ikea sa may bandang MOA itatayo and its the biggest Ikea store in the world.

Here in Canada mas mura ang mga gamit sa IKEA. Nakakatuwa din mamasyal at kumain paminsan minsan.

Sana mura ding ang IKEA items sa Pinas. Huli kong binili sa IKEA is a set of stainless cookware kasi mas madami at mura compare to other stores. Pinadala ko via balikbayan box along with towels etc.

I love IKEA! I just bought a used IKEA Jerker desk (discontinued na pala) from FB Marketplace and I love it. Sobrang swak sa small spaces like ours at swak sa bulsa because they are affordable!

May alam po ba kayo na nagbebenta sa Pinas ng IKEA stuff.  Bukod dun sa furniture******. Grabe nakakaiyak yun prices nila. 2x or 3x mas mahal sa store. I understand shipping cost and everything pero nadodoble. Grabe.
