Hi mga sis, Nag browse ako pero wala pa yatang topic regarding staycation.

Gusto ko sana I-treat ang family ko for 3 days and 2 nights sa isang hotel. Medyo 5-6 kami. Baka may marerecommend kayo na hotel in manila or near manila na mura at medyo private.

Hubby and i thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay sa SEDA nuvali in santa rosa laguna. If may kids kayong kasama, they will surely enjoy the pool and the gaming room. Marami rin malapit na restaurants if you don't want to have dinner or lunch sa hotel since medyo limited pa ang food choices nila. Not as lavish as other hotels but okay rin ang breakfast buffet nila.

Had our staycation last weekend at Acacia Hotel in Alabang. I've read blogs and TripAdvisor reviews about how great their services were, and have read some that mentioned how it's not really the same quality as a couple of years ago. Taking both into consideration, I went ahead and booked. Acacia is just 30 minutes away from home, and super near ATC, so it was in an ideal location for a quick, stress-free weekend getaway.

I'd rate the place a 7 out of 10. Room was just the right size, we got twin beds instead of a king-sized one (which is what I reserved). 'twas fine though because my daughter's yaya was with us, so she shared a bed na lang with my 5-year old. Welcome fruits not there when we came in, 'twas delivered late at night na - after we remembered to ask for it. Bar was apparently not plugged in and was empty. We only found out upon checkout since we really didn't have any use for it so di namin sya nasilip the entire stay. Pool was small, but it was fine since there wasn't a lot of guests naman this weekend. Buffet breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular but the available choices were yummy naman. Oh and we were supposed to get a complimentary massage for two pax, but weren't told we can only avail of it for a certain timeframe after check-in, so ayun, di din na-avail.

Loved their beds and pillows, loved the room, loved the staff, they were super nice. Alright value for 5K a night. Not exactly unforgettable.

Will definitely try another hotel for the next staycation though. Dapat pala nipush ko na ang SEDA Nuvali.

Crimson Hotel in Alabang is nice din. Small lang ang pool pero ok naman. Gusto ko yung malalaking lounge beds/pods sa poolside. Masarap din ang breakfast buffet.

Ok din Maxim's Hotel sa Resorts World. Medyo mahal lang, pero malalaki naman ang rooms. Either 1 king or 2 queen-sized beds. Reasonably-priced din ang room-service massage. Pool is nice, though di na kami nag-swimming. Ok din breakfast buffet. Pag na-bore, me Newport Mall, casino, etc.

Anyone here who has tried Hotel H2O in Manila? How was the room with the gigantic aquarium?

mga sis, baka may naka try na sa inyo sa SEDA Nuvali. Nakita ko sa agoda and medyo pricey pala siya. Kapag sa SEDA ba kapag sinabing max 'yun talaga 'yun? Dati kase sa Punta Fuego nag book kami thru agoda, binayaran namin 'yung additional one person na kasama namin sa room eh.2 lang kase max.

With other hotels kase kahit nakalagay na 2 ang max, as long as hindi naman kayo nanghingi ng additional beddings, hindi sila masyadong strict sa plus 1 sa room.

Anyone knows a hotel/hostel/motel/apartment with kitchen na pwedeng i-rent for a week (2 pax) dito lang naman sa metro manila or maybe nearby province (e.g. Laguna, Cavite, Bulacan, Antipolo)?

Here are the hotels I've tried so far -

1. Oakwood - my family's favorite. Great to be able to bring pets with you, cook and do the laundry. We usually stay 2 days at a time. Bitin pag one day lang
2. Diamond Hotel - great buffet spread at the Corniche. The hotel is small lang but you won't run out of things to do.
3. Fairmont - medyo pricey but the bed is very comfy. They also made a special arrangement/surprise since we stayed there on our anniversary!
4. Makati Shangri-la - quite dated, expensive and in dire need of renovation.
5. The Cocoon Boutique Hotel in QC - great place to stay. The hotel is eco-friendly. Not a 5 star hotel but good enough to spend a relaxing weekend away from home.

Stayed at Y2 residences at Makati last weekend. From 8k (net) for 2 bedroom suite naging 4,500 na lang sya because of Deal Grocer. Super nice nung place kase 2 bedroom, kitchen, sala, 2 CRs plus may swimming pool sa rooftop and may kasamang breakfast buffet. Tapos pwede magpa deliver ng food sa suite, pwede magluto. They have complete cooking pots, ref, etc. I liked their breakfast buffet too. Super sulit deal talaga.

Sa Thunderbird maganda view kasi sa pool area you can see mountains and parang laguna bay yata yun. May wide garden area and may nearby golf course. Scenic siya.

Deal grocer yung website that offers discounted deals be it hotel stay, restaurant promos, etc. check mo, sis. Google mo lang. 4 pax yung suite kase 2 bedrooms but i think free ang 2 kids. Very relaxing stay. Panay sabi namin, omg sana dito na lang tayo sa hotel ng 1 month haha!

sis, ok ba 'yung ambiance sa Y2K? Hindi naman ba masyadong rinig ang ingay sa labas? May elevator ba if may disabled kaming kasama? I heard bago lang ang Y2k so maganda at bago pa raw ang mga facilities.
