We'll have bearer for ring, coin and bible only. I remember this when I was little, when we attend Christian weddings they always have the bible bearer.

^to be sure, if you are having a Catholic wedding, ask the church manangs regarding the bible, coin and arrhae. Some church might not require you to bring a bible, but some do require it. May nabasa na akong post in one of the GT threads na hindi nagdala at nagprepare ng bible because the coordinator told the couple na hindi kelangan. Tapos nung araw ng kasal, napagalitan ng pari yung couple kasi hinahanap ng priest yung bible tapos wala. Ang ending, the priest told the couple na hindi man lang daw nila pinaghandaan yung kasal nila.

haha thanks sis! Yeah, I called the church namin and sabi nila need raw un Bible. Haha ayusin ko nalang un invitation namin to reflect this.

now that i think about it, nothing much; maybe treat the bride like a queen? the maid of honor primarily takes care of the bride and gets the papers signed. also holds the bouquet for the bride. so i don't know what else the bridesmaids can do. i won't have any. hahaha!

Ako din sis, same tayo. I only have MOH + 3 secondary sponsors. Sa tingin ko okay na yun.

Sisses... ano ba advantages kapag marami, para naman mas mapag isipan ko.

i dont have any. yung 3 secondary sponsors ko, pare pareho sila ng dress, sila na din ang bridesmaids ko

Taga suot ng sapatos at garter ng bride, pang photo op. Yan ang trabaho ng MOH haha

Aside from that taga hawak ng bag ng bride at taga assist sa pag pirma ng marriage contract. Sila rin ang nagpapapirma sa witnesses.

Ayoko din kasi masyadong crowded sa photo and gusto ko maramdaman talaga nung ento ko na superspecial sila kaya sila lang ang selected...

yup, this is exactly what i'll be doing...1 moh + 3 secondary sponsors and all of them are my closest friends

Yes sis. Nasayo naman yun. Pero basically walang role ang bridesmaid, wala silang ggawin sa ceremony unlike the secondary sponsors na magllight ng candle, magllagay ng veil at ng cord... usually may mga bridesmaids kung sobrang dami mong girlfriends, or sister, or pinsan na kaclose mo... mga ganyan. if ok ka na sa apat na abay, (1 MOH + 3 secondary sponsors/bridesmaids) then go by all means.

ako palang kasi ikakasal samin ng mga friends ko since highschool. Then yung mga sis ni h2b and gfs ng mga bro ni h2b.. Close kasi kami talaga lahat

Same tayo sis mlgj! I'm only having MOH, 3 secondary sponsors & 1 flower girl for my ento. Conditional pa if magkaroon ako ng bridesmaid para pair sila ng bestfriend ni fiance a.k.a groomsman if makauwi siya sa Philippines by that time. Sa guys naman: best man, 3 secondary sponsors, 1 ring bearer, 1 coin bearer, 1 bible bearer. Tama na yan! Hahaha!

I'll be having 7 pairs of godparents & I have questions re PS. My mom kasi wants me to have my uncle as a ninong & payag na payag naman ako (paborito raw kasi ako nito of all his nieces) but my mom suggests na kunin ko yung common law wife nya as a PS para naman daw di kawawa at maisasama ko sa VIP table. Here's my problem: my uncle's legal wife is alive & friend ko sa FB so she & her kids might take offense because of this act. Another point is that, kaya nga raw tayo kukuha ng principal sponsors not only to give us good advice for the marriage or serve as witnesses on that special day but also para ma-emulate din ng marrying couple yung pagmamahalan na meron yung PS with their wives/husbands as the years go by. If this is the case, e di parang di ko nasunod yun if the said PS are not "successful" sa kanilang marriages. (Uncle's CL wife has filed for annulment due to physical & emotional abuse from her partner.) WHAT SHOULD I DO? Should I just drop my uncle because of that "requirement"? Am I required to ask my new "aunt" to be my PS too? Please enlighten me. Thank you!

^^ You don't need to make your tito's common law wife a ninang too. But she can sit at your VIP table as the date of your Tito who is a VIP. The legal wife and your cousins can't make tampo because you got your tito as a ninong, and it is up to him who he decides to bring as his plus1 to your wedding. But if you get both your tito and the common law wife as principal sponsors, medyo baka meron masasabi yung mga tao. Honestly though, I would never get the common law wife as a principal sponsor. Respeto nalang yon towards his kids with the legal wife who happen to be your cousins.

OR you can just skip getting him as your ninong unless you really want to get him.
