^Sis, create an account first and then you can post on your profile the services you provide. For example, website creation, creative layouts, proofreading, etc. Some people who need your services may contact you directly. Another way is for you to actively bid on a particular "job" or task that they post. Hours are not regulated but there usually is a deadline for the work.

For example, if you were granted the job of proofreading a thesis with a given deadline, then you do not have to be online the entire time as long as you submit the required work on time.

Got my first freelancer project 2 weeks after I created my account. It's a research project and I was given 2days to produce the expected output. Medyo hesistant lang ako kasi ako mismo ang kinontak ng employer (i think freelancer din sya na na naghahanap ng tutulong sa tasks nya) kasi di ko makita yung feedback sa kanya. Baka scam pero try ko din. I'll see if legit ito.

What's the assurance naman for the employer that the said freelancer will deliver quality output?  I have been browsing through similar sites, looking for a graphic artist for my advertisements.  Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Medyo mas complicated, hopefully maging smooth ang transaction namin. Got interviewed as wel by another client na naghahanap ng VA. Client is based in UK and he is remotely managing his developers in Russia. Update ko ulit if I will get paid dun sa next project ko.

Napansin ko kahit wala newbie ka pa lang, some employers will try to contact you for an interview if you were able to meet their requirements based on the descriptions you provided sa proposal. May recall sa kanila kapag well written at detailed yung proposal mo.

sis how do you estimate the amount of days that you can work on the project? kasi napansin ko sa freelancer.com yung mga projects wala masyado details so i don't know how to estimate yung days kung magpost ako ng bid.

sis  Faye P - i signed up sa Freelancer.com but i didn't pay anything, tapos i was applying for Data Entry Projects then nakareceive ako ng email of job offer kaso i need to pay up a Deposit daw.

i didn't push through kasi nakakaloka lang na ikaw nga naghahanap ng work para magkapera tapos ikaw ba magbabayad. so i think na you should not pay anything.
