^I have the transverse cut (pahiga) and i've had 3 CS na, I used a binder after all my surgeries and it helped naman.

I had transverse cut too and I used a binder. Walang sinabi yung duktor sakin na di pwde or bawal mag binder kasi transverse.

I can't comment how quick the healing and recovery of those na traditional or pababa yung cut but mine was around 2 weeks. Wala na pain.

2 weeks is pretty good.

Vertical - sabi kasi ng doc ko less complication ang vertical. Nagbinder ako for 6 weeks tapos girdle until now, since mix feeding ako (nagbreastfeed ako and formula) medyo lumiit na yung chan ko, may nagsabi na parang dalaga lang malaki ang puson ko parang hindi daw nanganak. Umaga or kahit tulog naka binder and girdle kasi ako noon so lumiit ang chan ko din. sabi ni OB 6 months to 1 year daw dapat naka girdle if gusto bumalik yung chan sa dati kahit papano

Hi sissies? anyone here na nanganak before their sched CS, yun kasi ang current na worry ko, my first oby scheduled me ng July8 eh 36 weeks pa lang ako nun, then nagchange ako ng oby and we choosed 22th, 38th week ni Baby pero worried ko is kelangan pala talaga na earlier pag CS
pag nakasched ka na and naglabor ka, ics ka na nila agad? and considered emergency na sya?
Repeat CS na kasi ako, its my 2nd baby


BTW regarding binder, hindi naman nya natatakpan un tahi kasi super mababa, un binder sa may waist lang part na cocover so I was thinking, hindi talga nya nahohold un part na may incision, but I guess since it is holding the tummy and part of abdomen, damay na rin un sugat, mas ok [textspeak!] un compression garment but after a few days [textspeak!] para buong part ng tummy to belly down there is intact

Ganyan nangyari sa akin (sort of). I was scheduled for March 30 but they moved my CS date a few days early, I gave birth March 26 kasi I was having contractions and nag dilate na to 3cm cervix ko. They did not want me to have emergency cs kaya i was scheduled for the earliest date they could get.

I was scheduled Dec 8 for CS. Pero napa-aga ng 1 week kasi malambot na cervix at anytime pwede na ako manganak.
Check-up ko ng Dec 1 ng morning, that afternoon nagpa-admit na ako, tapos naka-sched na ako ng Dec 2 ng 8am.
I think depende sa hospital yun kung saan ka nya categorize. Since na-advice naman ang OR ng a day before kaya hindi ako emergency CS.

Na CS ako kasi my water bag already broke pero floating pa raw si baby. Hanggang 4cm lang dilation ko so ayun.

Question mga sis, meron ba sa inyo namanas after CS? Gaano katagal bago nawala and ano ginawa nyo para mawala? Pag uwi kasi namin sa bahay saka ko napansin na namanas ako.

^ Me. As in manas na I thought puputok na yung legs and paa ko sa sobrang manas. Lol. It lasted for a week. Nawala naman ng kusa, I didn't do anything though ang advised is to elevate your feet pero di ko naman lagi nagagawa pero nawala naman agad.

Mga sis, first time ko aalisin yung gauze. Yung mga nakaraan kasi OB ko nag alis. Problem ko nakadikit yung gauze sa tahi. Ano dapat ko gawin? Natatakot ako hatakin yung gauze kasi baka pati yung tahi matanggal huhu. Help!

im due in december and im opting for elective CS. totoo bang masakit mag breastfeed after the procedure?

My legs and feet were manas too. Yuck! Haha. But it only lasted a week.

^breastfeeding wasn't hard. After the procedure, puro side lying kami ni baby. Pinoposition na ng nurses si baby sa bed. Day after, I can already sit sa bed and breastfeed using a boppy pillow. Not really painful.

super manas din ako noon. as in nakasira ako ng tsinelas haha sa akin tumagal ng 6-8 weeks na totally nawala yung maga. sabi ng doctor ko, tea daw nakaka tanggal ng manas eh sabi naman ng breastfeeding counselor ko, ang tea daw ay nakakababa ng supply, eh low milk supply na nga ako so hindi ako nag tea kaya tumagal ang manas ko. kasi pinili ko yung gatas ko hehe

DM2 naman ako at 37 years old with previous D&C - candidate na candidate daw ako sa elective CS.
Advice ng OB ko rin ito dahil mahirap daw mag timpla  ng IV kapag emergency CS, hindi daw ganun kadali
for DM2 patients. Tsaka my sugar tends to shoot-up kapag in pain ako. baka daw ma-stress si baby kapag
nag normal delivery kami. safer and much better option ang elective CS for me.

nag-manas din ako after CS. feet ang hands. pinakita ko sa OB, normal lang daw yun dahil meron pa daw
pregnancy hormones na naiwan sa body ko, eventually mawawala din daw. true enough, nawala nga.

On my experience. Hindi masakit mag breastfeed kapag CS. sabi ng PB, kapag breastfeeding ka, nakakaliit ng tyan,
mararamdaman mo daw yun na nagta-tighten. Mas ininda ko pa ang breastfeeding kasi nag sugat na nipple ko.
mali kasi ang latching namin. tsaka yung milk supply ko over flowing, kahit nag feed na si baby, tumutulo pa din,
pump ko pa, after 2 minutes, tulo na ulit. sinasapinan ko ng towels yung both breast ko.

36 days post CS op ko. This is my 2nd c section. Gave birth to a baby girl on June 29 sa pgh.. recovery is hard for me this time. Namanas ako after discharge sa hospital. 1st day ko sa bahay after discharge namaga paa at kamay ko. My ob gave me prescription for diuretic pero 3 days lang sya puede inom. Was supposed to see my ob 1 wk after operation pero di ako nakapunta sa clinic nya dahil meron bagyo. The 2nd wk naman di ako nakapunta dahil wala ako mapagiwanan ng baby ko. Felt pain around my incision and saw na iba ichura ng skin around my incision eh 2 wks na un sugat ko. The pain got unbearable na punta ako emergency rm ng pgh. Sabi parang paumpisa na infection daw was given clindamycin thru IV was advised to be admitted pero ayaw ko kase hinde ko puede iwan baby ko. So I went home after maubos un IV fluids ko and was prescribed oral clindamycin for 9 days. And was advised to see my ob the next day. The next day I saw my ob ok naman daw loob at labas ng incision ko. So ginawa nya 7 days na lang un antibiotics ko. Problem ko lang mataas naman bp ko.. 3 wks nako umiinom ng norvasc 5mg and I monitor my bp 3x a day.. maybe this comes with age.. I'm 35 turning 36 in a few months.. hirap ako huminga dahil siguro sa hi bp ko.. sana mawala na Hi bp ko

need your advice sissies first cs ko inalis un dressing before madischarge then meron routine sa pagclean daily and takip gauze
pero un 2nd time ko na inalis un dressing after a week ko manganak follow-up check up tapos wala advice kasi tuyo na daw just use safeguard daw pag maliligo sa area
now im on my 2nd week pag alis ko ng undies ko since it directly touches na the incision meron stain na parang pus though its not that yellow parang water leak nagwoworry tuloy ako kasi hirap ko maglakad and wala ako iiwanan kay baby it would be hard na magpacheckup kasi ang haba ng pila sa oby should I do a cleaning on my own first like use aqua and betadine then takpan ko ulet ng clean dressing? hopefully nag work

Agua oxinada lang bigay sakin na pang linis ng sugat tapos let it air dry.. Hinde encourage un takpan ulit un incision kase mas mabilis un healing pag na exposed lang sya.

Meron ako tegaderm sa incision after lumabas ng hospital. When it peeled off due to hair growth hinde na sya pinapalitan ng dressing. Daily cleaning lang with Agua oxinada Pinagawa sakin. Plus meron ako take na antibiotics na 7 days
