Hello to all. Patulong naman sisses, I had my last November 10, after 2 weeks, okay na tahi ko and pinayagan na ko maligo ng deretso. Peso after few days, sa taas na tahi ko is dumugo then after ilang days sa baba naman dumugo. Gumaling naman agad yung sa taas pero yung baba until now (9 weeks) Hindi pa din gumagaling. Actually hindi siya mukhang tahi na bumuka, para siyang butlig na nasugatan. Tapos matutuyo, tapos ilang days pag alis ko ng gasa hoping na ok na siya, makikita ko may green ulit. Sabi lang no ob linisin ng alcohol then bactobran pero ganun pa rin lagi. Napu-frustrate na ko. Need ko pa naman na bumalik sa work. Help me naman ano dapat gawin ko. Gusto ko na magpunta sa obang ob kaso natatakot ako kasi baka hindi nila galawin dahil ibang ob any gumawa o baka mas lalo lumala. Please help me.

^ibalik mo sa OB mo para makita nya. possible na may pus sa loob kaya di gumaling galing or baka nainfect. pa prescribe ka ng oral antibiotics if needed.

yun sa kin noon nag react sa sutures so may pus sa isang dulo. kelangan pigain talaga para mag heal. advise din sa kin ni OB na ganun nga ang gawin tapos linisin ng agua oxinada pero di nawawala e ilan days na so pumunta na talaga ko sa clinic nya para sya mismo magcheck/linis tapos nagprescribe sya ng bactroban. i forgot kung may oral meds. pero ayun gumaling na after that.

My scar also got infected 5 months postpartum. Weird nga kasi medyo matagal na since I gave birth. Not naman the whole thing pero may isang part ng scar na very tender to touch tapos feeling ko may pus sa loob... so I went to the Dr agad. Pina CT scan ako to make sure walang foreign object na naiwan daw  thankfully, wala! I was on antibiotics for a bit and it resolved naman.

Mine din nagreact sa sutures. Sayang, ganda nung part na hindi apektado, parang wala lang. And the worst part is hindi ako nainjectionan ng para sa keloid. Maaalala ko pa ba yun e emergency CS ako. Haha.

What made your ob think there might be a foreign object inside?  Diba during operation there is another nurse doing the inventory of your "insides" as well as the apparatus they are using to make sure nothing gets left kahit gauze pa yan? Kinabahan naman ako.

^I'm not sure, I think she was just exploring possible reasons why my scar got infected 5-6 months postpartum.

Although, I think I know why it got infected... my daughter kasi was fond of jumping then and usually karga karga sya and she'd hit the scar. Eh ako, thinking tagal na naman, healed na siguro yan ayun...

Hello mommies!

I;m a first time mom, and now on my 30 week. I just want to know kung magkano aabutin if ever na MA CS ka, let say Emergency CS? I'm planning to give birth here Manila Med (Medical Center Manila). Do you have any ideas kung mgkano aabutin yung bill?

Ask your ob-gyne how much it will cost. Depende rin kasi yan sa room mo after the operation. May package naman sila just ask your doctor.

It will depend on the room, PF of your anesthesiologist and OB. This is was estimate lang when I gave birth pa in 2009, normal all in all almost 100k (two days lang ako nun). If CS mga around 150k daw. While a kumare of mine gave birth a month before me at Asian Emergency CS kasi naubos na yung water nya and nakakain na yung baby ng poop sa loob inabot sya ng 250k wala pa dun yung mga ginawa sa bata na monitoring kasi nakakain na ng poop yung bata sa tagal ng labor nya sis.

So I suggest you ask your OB if the hospital where you will gave birth has a package. Normally they have a package they can offer to you.

Currently 21 weeks preggy. OB said malamang CS ako kasi I have a 5cm myoma sa dadaanan ni baby, delikado ata pag NSD. Thanks sa mga tips and kwento nyo sisses, dami ko natutunan. Yung iba nakakakaba, yung iba nakakalakas naman ng loob hehe.

Ask ko lang, pag CS ba as in wala rin suot aside sa hospital gown? I underwent minor surgery last year, local anesthesia lang, lahat pinaalis kasama undies kasi may ginamit silang equipment na naka connect sa kuryente kaya raw ganun. Sa CS ba ganun din? Iniimagine ko lang kasi haha. Ayaw ko naman manood ng videos sa youtube, baka matakot ako. Also, may option bang wag mag catheter? Hindi ba pwedeng mag diaper nalang ako? ^ I only wore hospital gown. No anything underneath. I think catheter is necessary talaga when undergoing surgery. I had my catheter and diaper nun. You won't feel anything naman kahit naka-catheter ka. They will put it once the anesthesia took effect na. I remember din the nurses keep on checking how much my urine output was, so baka kasama din yun sa kelangan icheck after the operation. They removed my catheter 15 hours after the operation.They said masakit daw but thankfully I didn't feel any pain. Hingang malalim lang ginawa ko nun.

^goodluck sis! Ang di ko lang na expect nun CS ko, ay yung excessive shaking. Akala ko malakas yung aircon sa OR. Tataka ako, bat ako lang ang mukhang nilalamigan tas hanggang sa nakakaramdam na ako ng panginginig.

Akala ko nga mahuhulog ako sa operating table sa pangangatog, makitid lang yung lamesa (pwede rin ako yung malapad), pero pakiramdam ko, nakahiga ako sa balance beam. Hinawakan ng mga nurses yung mga kamay ko buong operasyon kasi di ko mapigilan yung pag-nginig.

^thank you sis! aww, effect ng epidural yung panginginig diba. sana naman hindi ganun ang effect sa akin. may nabasa nga rin ako dito na sumuka during the procedure.

Ako din nanginginig before the procedure. Inisip ko nga baka ninerbyos lang ako? Pero hindi naman e, talagang effect lang ng anesthesia.

Yung pagsusuka naexperience ko din but during my labor. Not before or during my CS. My doc was very very adamant about me not eating anything solid before going into labor. Ice chips lang, or jello, mga ganun lang. Something about food mixing with anesthesia and causing you to vomit and aspirate on your own vomit. Sundin mo lang doctor mo and you will be fine.

The only difficult thing about CS is the recovery. Actual procedure is painless. Basta pilitin mong tumayo within 24 hours. Don't baby your wounds or the pain. Pilitin mong gumalaw talaga when they ask you to. Mas mahirap if you develop blood clotting.

Btw, sa mga nascheduled CS, were you admitted a day before the procedure? Standard ba yun or sa iba pwedeng pagpunta mo CS ka na agad?

^^ I was admitted the night before, next day ng 8am operation ko. Fasting na ko ng midnight, I wasn't allowed to take anything even water from 12mn onwards. I was throwing up during and after the operation. Ang sama ng feeling because my stomach was empty.

@ salvage me - for those who experienced pus sa tahi, how did you know may pus inside?

i had that nun ma CS ako nun 2010. tender un area ng wound at meron kirot na constant. may watery discharge din sya na napansin ko napalitan ng yellowish discharge. ayun pus na yun yellow discharge. this happened kase nabutas pala un tegaderm na nakatakip sa wound ko so my bath water got inside the wound and eventually infected the wound. paupo pa naman ako maligo after giving birth kase meron ako hilo moments.
