^nope, not induced. Recommended intake of EPO from the 34th week of gestation is 500mg-1000mg per day... gradually increasing to maximum 2000mg a day by your 38th week. So yun ang sinunod ko.

Marami rin akong what ifs... eto nga I will even hire a doula or a personal midwife as labour support because I also want VBAC. Here in Australia, hindi sya kelangan unless home birth ka or may aversion ka talaga sa mga OBs lol I don't. At least, kung ma CS man ako ulit next time, I explored all options na and wala ng what ifs ;) kasi my baby's presentation was left occiput transverse. I couldn't help but think, siguro kung meron akong doula/MW nga with me, she could've given me advice how to turn my baby to occiput anterior position. I did have 3 nurses, a midwife and an OB but all working for the hospital.

oh well... next time ;) if CS pa rin, talagang CS ang bagsak but I'd know na I tried everything.

^ah i see, I didn't know kung ganyan din reseta ni ob for primrose. Hehe

my bebe's presentation was occiput anterior 2-3 weeks na saka every check up kasi lagi kami ultrasound (magastos ob ko) inaasure naman ako na kaya ko daw inormal. Pinabili nya lang ako binder kaya mejo nagtaka ako. Hmmm

Nung occiput posterior pa sya lagi ako on all fours sa bed.

Exactly my sentiments, I feel like kasi na kulang ang nangyari sa akin. You go sis, do everything nga para no more what ifs. Iba kapag feeling mo sana ganito, sana ganyan. Haaay

Sakin nga may unang yakap daw sabi ni hubby pero bakit wala kong maalala! Dapat ata me malay man lang ako. Wala man kami first family picture sa delivery room kasi nga tulog na ako. Gusto ko pa naman nun.

Hanggang 3rd week pp umiiyak pa ata ako lalo pag nakakabasa ako labor stories.

When i went back to my OB for follow-up check and removal of dressing, she said na my wound was healing well daw. And nung wala na dressing, i made sure na hindi moist yung area (lalo at me "folds", hehe), so i would put tissue along the fold (sa ibabaw ng wound) para mag-absorb ng moisture and always dry yung area.

I had my cs last dec 11 . In my exp after matanggal yung anesthesia makirot sya pero tolerable naman mapapaingit ka lang sa gabi. Hehe nakakagalaw na dim ako the next day kahit makirot they gAve me dulcolax para ma poop so no choice kundi tumayo at pumunta sa banyo, tinaggal na din yung iv ko and catheter.
Balik ako this week kay ob.

Dec 07 morning ako na-CS, that evening my OB already allowed me to eat congee. The following day tinanggal na swero and catheter, nakaligo na ko by myself at nakalakad going to nursery. On the 2nd day nakauwi na kami (after maka fart and poop, sorry TMI).

Even my pedia, endo and other nurses were surprised that i was up and about and moving quite normally. Mataas yata pain tolerance ko. I stopped taking dolfenal on the 4th day.  Came back to my OB a week after to check my stitches. Ang condition nya lang is that i wear my binder 24/7.

Minsan nakakalimutan ko tahi ko in taking care of the baby. Sana wala naman maging problem later on.

^ same tayo sis, medyo mataas din kasi pain tolerance ko. Though of course me ininom pa ako pain reliever sa first 3 days pagkauwi.

I gave birth on a Saturday morning. Sunday morning pagkatanggal ng catheter (i had to have 24hr urine collection because of eclampsia), tumatayo-tayo na ako lipat from bed to sofa to hilamos and toothbrush sa banyo.

So better be safe pa din at magdahan-dahan. Me anak kasi ng friend nya na nabalik sa hospital 2weeks after kasi parang nag-rupture yung tahi sa loob, nag-buhat daw kasi ng medyo mabigat, na-stress daw yung wound sa loob. So mainly kay baby lang talaga ako nung simula - paligo, bihis, palit diapers, breastfeed. Then slow lakad-lakad around the house.

As to the other sis na me questions above, i'll try to remember. Hehe..
- hindi masakit magchange ng dressing. Hindi naman mahapdi. At walang tinanggal na tahi kasi kusang natutunaw yung sinulid na gamit (confirm with your OB if ito din gamit nya).
- and medyo awkward lang sa akin nung first few days e di ako masyadong straight pag tumayo. Natatakot kasi ako ma-stretch out yung tyan ko, hehe.. though my OB said ok lang naman daw mag-straight. Pag nakahiga dun lang ako nakakapag straight talaga.
- i had a bikini-cut, and di sya masyado halata kasi parang me line lang sa may waistline ng panty, hehe.. buti na lang hindi ako kelloidal kaya walang umbok or anything yung tahi ko. Parang line lang talaga.

I'm super-inspired kay sis Grace_08, pang 5th CS  na nya. nawala ng slight ang kaba ko, pang 4th CS ko naman etong pinagbubuntis ko right now, 5 months pregnant. Although before i got pregnant with my 4th baby,nagpa-clear muna ako sa OB ko kung ok pa ba ang pang 4th CS and she has given me the Go Signal!

I always had to remind myself na kahit wala na akong nararamdaman (1.5 weeks PP), I still have to be consciously aware na hindi pa ako magaling kasi yun sugat sa loob, matagal mag heal.

So ladies, be careful lang ha kahit wala ng pain. Dahan dahan pa rin.

I did go back to the gym 3 months PP. The first time I did plank after giving birth was  :o it wasn't painful but it was very, very uncomfortable.

Siguro masyado masakit na un labour ko. Hindi ko na ininda un procedure. Gising ako the whole time till recovery room and kahit na check in na ako. Hindi ako nakaramdam ng antok. Ngayon hindi na ako mglabour. Deretso na CS. Sana hindi ako kabahan. Praying for safe delivery and healthy kame ni baby.

Hi sis, bumalik ka na ba kay ob? ..as per follow up ko kay ob after 2weeks.

^^ clear with your OB to be sure. But most likely pwede na basain yan. Just make sure you keep the incision area clean and dry.

I started taking eve primrose on my 36th week. I gave birth on February 6. Naexperience niyo rin ba na sobrang kati ng mukha a few hours after delivery? Inorient naman din ako ni OB at Anesthesiologist beforehand about it. Sobrang weird ng feeling during the entire procedure.

My 2nd CS was very painful and I was in pain even after the operation that I had to change my pain reliever to Celebrex.

My first pregnancy was also CS kasi my baby was breeched, and I got pregnant too soon for a VBAC so I was informed of the risks kaya I opted for another CS though the position of my baby now is tama na.  My OB said if my uterus erupts, it can cause death to me and the baby.  The fear is there obviously.

At 35 weeks, I experienced contractions like I have never felt before.  I was in pain for 5 hours and I was still sent home (Eventhough I talked to the resident OB kung uuwi ba talaga ako kasi may blood na sa urine ko and madalas na ko sa CR that time).  After an hour, I went back kasi I was having excruciating pain I was always crying.  Ayun, 6cm na pala ako.  My OB was on vacation, I was in excruciating pain, I was worried that something might happen to me and the baby, I was hysterical and angry.

Ingat nalang girls.  Not because St Luke's yan you will be taken cared of.  I had what ifs, and I still feel a little angry that I was neglected.  I was willing to pay the price for my OB na highly recommended and I was treated like a 2nd class citizen (feeling ko).  Lahat ng requests ko sa OB was not followed, obviously I was not endorsed properly.  There were male doctors in the room, sobrang daming medical staff, when I specifically said as few people as possible.
