So medyo kabado ako ngayon . Gave birth via CS last october 2014 . Had my period on jan 17 then feb19 . March 27 na and hindi pa ko nagkakaron . O_o

Na move ng April 25 yung sched ko since I want baby to be born ng 38weeks. Para medyo "luto" na siya

hoping na makapagantay si baby kasi ang dalas ng BH ko ngayon. Hay.

ano sabi ng OB mo sis? according sa OBs na nakausap ko and internet medical sites, better wait til the 40th week. this is the time na sobrang developed na lahat kay baby including sucking and swallowing coordination nya. very important kasi ito. i'm glad i umabot kami ng 39th week nga kasi when baby was born via emergency cs, ang galing na nya mag swallow and suck kaya wala kami naging problem sa breastfeeding. pati weight and all. if no indication naman for baby to be out early, best ang 40th week. a friend who gave birth ng 37wks had problems pa sa baby nya with weight nasa 2kgs lang so small si baby talaga and medyo hirap sa breastfeeding pa.

My baby was 39w when he was born. Stained meconium kaya ako na cs, mabuti nalang din naagapan. It happens din pala kahit 39w kala ko kasi nagpupupu lang ang baby kapag overdue. Kung hindi pa pinutok ang water bag ko di malalaman na nagpupu na siya.

anyone experienced Meralgia Paresthetica? dunno if related pa ito sa postpartum pero napansin ko medyo numb yun outer thigh ko sa left. no pain naman pero kinda numb lang sya.

sabi ng OB ko pwede na ako magpa-schedule ng CS ng first week ng June kaya ngayon iniisip ko kung anong araw maganda manganak, baka kasi kapag linggo malaki ang PF kasi diba parang rest day nila yun hahaha tama kaya yung naiisip ko? kaya baka monday or tuesday na lang

The PF does not depend on the day. You can ask your OB how much na pf nya even before you give birth

anyway, okay naman si baby kahit 38 weeks lang siya nung na CS ako. I was in labor na rin kasi pala nung time na yun and bawal ako maglabor. nung unang yakap latch naman agad siya. until now EBF kami worth it ang sacrifice. Mabilis rin recovery ng wound ko and incision. over all it was a great experience kahit hindi ko nakuha ang dream birth ko na VBAC hehe at least safe kami ni baby.

Ideally 39 weeks is full term. If you do a research on the net they advice induction at 39 weeks because it lowers the risk for neo natal deaths. If beyond 39 weeks the risk kasi is higher. In our case wifey gave birth at 37 weeks and 4 days to a healthy baby boy. Weight was 6.5lbs. Emergency cs kasi fetal distress na. Nag poop na si baby. The weight of the baby will depend on your food intake and vitamins during your pregnancy. Ours kasi medjo focused OB namin from vitamins pati her diet specified by the OB because 38 yrs old na si wifey.

Just remember if at 37 weeks your baby does not move that much call your OB agad (she should be available 24/7). In our case when the baby did not move for an hour and a half we were ordered to go to st lukes na agad at 3am. The OB tried normal birth pero di kaya kasi pag nag contractions the heartbeat of the baby would plunge to 82bpm. It went on for 3 hrs until we decided na emergency CS. Ayun si baby was only confined sa NICU for 6 hrs [textspeak!] then discharged na. Most important thing is it is your body, trust your instincts. If you feel something wrong wake up your OB. Your are paying for her services and it should not be an incovenience for them if you call during the wee hours of the morning.

I want to request sana sa OB ko if ever ma-CS ako. Di ko lang alam kung ok/papayag siya, else hanap ako ng ibang OB. I am 36yo, high risk so this current pregnancy most probably will be my last, kaya ma experience ko man lang yung mahawakan ko agad si baby right after birth & hear her first cry, na hindi ko na experience sa first baby namin dahil emergency cs siya.

Oh my, akala ko lahat ng cs esp emergency cs, tulog ang patient, kasi ako ganun. After ng epidural ko (yr 2008, UST hosp), passed out na ako, pag gising ko nasa recovery room na ako. I guess di na discuss nung OB ko ang CS sakin and other options, madaming kulang including need pala ng binder pag cs, ako the whole time hanggang mag heal yung stitch ko hindi nag binder. Though, it went ok naman, no infection and hindi bumuka and not saggy din. Now I have a different OB, dahil na din sa layo & traffic sa Manila, and I am from QC pa. Will discuss CS matters sa ob ko, but habang maaga pa, if ever may mas ok na ob and hospital facilities, i'll look for other options. Thanks a lot!

Me too, gising though a bit groggy during cs. Kinakausap pa ako ni hubby. Nakapag-unang yakap at naglatch din si baby sa akin for a few minutes. Then after a while nilabas ni hubby si baby kasama ang isang nurse para ipakita sa Mom and kuya ko.. dun na ako walang maalala so malamang nakatulog na ako. Paggising ko nasa recovery room na kami ni baby.. gave birth sa SLMC-QC.

all my 4 csection ko i was awake. nung first  and second lang ako nakatulog after. pero nung 3 rd and 4 th di ako nakatulog kahit pagdating sa room.

Pang CS lang ba yung binder and pull ups adult diaper? Pinabili kasi ako ni OB.. Hindi ko natanong kung pang CS. Eh normal plano namin dapat.. 38 weeks na kasi ako and closed pa cervix, no signs whatsoever haha

sis ok pa position ng baby mo . sa first ko kasi breech kaya ako na cs . kahit nagthreadmill ako nun di nagopen yun pala breech siya.

^oo nga sis eh. Tagal na sya cephalic. Pero kasi daw nakatingala. Dapat daw nakadapa eh nakaharap sa spine. May nabasa naman ako sa spinning babies, mas ok daw yung posterior (nakatingala) oh my hehe ayoko sana ma CS. Kaya hindi ko alam gagawin ko kasi baka maya pag maglakad ako ng todo magcontract naman ako pero ndi pa sya nakapwesto, ma CS  ako. 😂

You can move the position of the baby by wearing a maternity girdle. Ask your ob how to use it. Yan pinagawa kay wifey.

^same ba as mine na naka occiput posterior din si baby? Tapos nag anterior after using the maternity girdle? Ive read din kasi na nagtturn daw ang babies pag labor na. Will ask my OB by monday. Thanks
