^malaki yung Shinjuku station sis lagi nga kami naliligaw sa exit don hehe! madami malls din pero di kasi kami masyado pumasok sa malls non. gusto ko sa Sunroute Shiseido yung free shampoo conditioner and soap nila hehe

sis princess lorraine, if medyo strict talaga kayo sa budget why not try airbnb for accommodations?
andito kame sa shinjuku, tokyo ngayon and we got an apartment for 3.5k/day.
in fairness, same naman sya sa pictures and accessible sa mga commercial areas.

I am now choosing between hotel sunroute plaza shinjuku and hotel ryumeikan hotel. Almost same price sila. The latter is near tokyo station. Isip ko mukhang ok din yung location niya.

@f878 sis! andito ka na pala sa Japan. My gulay ngayon ko lang nakita may msg ka pala. i really recommend showa kinen park, tachikawa if may free day pa kayo full bloom ang mga tulips.

Last day in Tokyo today. Sunday 4 seasons in one day with a mini-tornado (tingin ko lang kasi tatangayin ako ng hangin) and a small earthquake na hindi ko naramdaman but some members of my group did. Pinsan ko nakaupo sa Roppongi Hills naramdaman niya, mommy ko sa accommodation naman kinabahan mag-isa lang siya that time.

Half of us nagkasakit due to the weather here, sobrang lamig then iinit, isama pa iyong flight ng PAL na bwisit na bwisit kapatid ko, init lamig din, so most of them 2 out of 5 days here nasa accommodation.

I had fun in Kawaguchiko especially the ropeway with that raccoon-rabbit 'love' story and Kamakura, just to see the Giant Buddha and the beach. Half-day lang kami each in separate days, gusto lang namin makita lugar. I'm not into historical and natural sites but those places are much better in person. Mt Fuji 1 minute lang nagpakita sa amin but the surrounding lake and mountains are magnificent; literally starstruck ako when I saw the Buddha. The beach in Kamakura does not have the white sands of Boracay but I like the serenity and it's not overdeveloped.

I always liked Shibuya but I think Ginza is much better because I love Uniqlo, and it's more quiet. Meron din naman GU, H&M and Zara kaya not intimidating. My sister likes Uniqlo's sister company GU, 500 yen cheaper than Uniqlo but has good quality.

Just a tip when travelling to Tokyo in a big group; make sure that wala maarte sa lakaran, willing to learn the train system and intindihin na wala sila sa Maynila kaya walang nag-English; medyo nasira lang travel ko may mga kasama kasing hindi ganyan.

Question lang about visa iba ba yung forms if were applying as family? Do you suggest na pagawa ako affidavit of support from my fiance since im unemployed and he will be shouldering our expenses

^Same lang as far as I know. Pagawa ka na lang affidavit sis.

Hi ladies! Between Sunroute Plaza and Shibuya Excel Hotel, which is better and easily accessible from the subway station? We are a family of 4, with 2 kids so I am considering hotels na malapit lang sa means of transpo at malapit din sa mga convenience stores at kainan. Syempre, mas okay din yung konting lakad lang. I am also considering Century Southern Tower. Sino na po may experience at these hotels? Hope to get your feedbacks. Salamat!

^hi sis! We stayed at shibuya excel hotel tokyu before. I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you're travelling with kids. Pag baba mo ng hotel tawid ka lang then jr yamanote station na. Meron din ginza line pag tawid lang. Super convenient talaga. There's a family mart just 3 mins walk from the hotel. Super daming restos in the area. 

Mga sis, worth it ba puntahan ang ueno? Aside from ueno park and zoo, ano pa bang ibang puwede puntahan dun? Thanks.

Actually, between Sunroute Plaza and Shibuya Excel hotel, I am leaning towards the latter. May room kasi sila na good for four. Pag sa Sunroute, I need to book 2 rooms pa. Di na kasi pasok sa child category yung ages ng kids ko. Maganda din reviews sa Century Southern. I am still waiting for feedbacks from here kung may naka-try na.

If I may ask, around how much yung room rate na nakuha nyo sis sa Shibuya Excel? Actually, di pa open for booking yung rooms on the date ng punta namin, sobrang aga pa yata... hehe... end October pa travel namin.

^11500 pesos per night kuha namin sa triple sharing sa shibuya excel last year eh. Pero now parang may price increase ata sila pansin ko. We'll be in tokyo in june and gusto ko sana dun parin kaso lang ang mahal na eh. Hindi pasok sa budget namin this time.

^^if sunroute sis mga 5 minutes walk pa from shinjuku station. tatawid ka pa from station papunta sa hotel. pero it's a nice hotel kahit maliit yung room. I think yung room for 2 nakuha ng husband ko 4k per night
