any tips like where is the best resto to dine in inside the disneyland cali?..
and where can i best buy discounted tickets for 7 adults and 1 child? e-tickets na is safe sabi i can pay through online using credit card and then  just print at my printer the ticket

planning to go next summer so i made a research and read as much as i can about disneyland anaheim.

You can buy the south california city pass. its a 3 day park hopper, you can hop between the two parks during the 3day period.  plus admission to universal studios and seaworld. or try undercovertourist.com.

When you buy online, you can just print the e-ticket and may ticket kiosk na sa park then ou willbe given the standard ticket. unlike disneyworld, meron magic band so there is no need for ticket. sa disneyland paper ticket pa lang.

as for where to eat, medyo tricky since you have to specify if you like table service or quick service lang. If you would like to eat table service style in all your meals, its better that you have advance booking. specially during high season. when we went to disneyworld last summer, we tried to walk in at sit down restos, min 1.5hrs waiting time without reservations. you can make a reservation 60days in advance if you are not staying at a disney resort and 180 days if you are. do not know about the food though since i havent been there but try character dining so you can meet disney characters and princesses up close.

For dining, the only one I can recommend is the Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue. I think I made a reservation when we went there. Food is good and it's all you can eat. But I think I spent around $80-$100 for two.

Everywhere else we ate, food is overpriced and bland. If you want fast food, the burger place close to Space Mountain is alright.

taking our darling daughter who is turning 3 next year to Disneyland... my heart was set in being at the park on the day of her actual birthday in August. But unfortunately, we had to move it to 2 months later kasi 1. August is too busy daw 2. too hot! She can still get a birthday button naman so that's good. I also bought 1 premium character dining voucher for us 3, and then 2 standard character dining.

we'll spend 3 days there and we'll check in at a nearby hotel for 3 nights, 4 days... I'm still thinking if we should do Disneyland hotel or somewhere else close by. Problem lang is karamihan 3 stars pinakamalapit and ayaw ni hubby kasi nga we're travelling with our daughter. I have one I like na I think is a 4* hotel, 4 kms away from Disneyland but has a free shuttle to and fro the park.

I'm reading blogs about "strategies" (which rides to go on first, shows to see etc) I'm also getting ideas on what to wear since bawal mag Disney costume dun, we'll be Disneybounding na lang.

For those with kids, nabasa ko na it's good to take a couple of hours rest sa hotel ng hapon to recharge the kids... then go back na ulit and stay up until the fireworks, world of colors, etc etc...

I also recommend Big Thunder Ranch, it is eat-all-you-can. My hubby and I waited around until 1-2 in the afternoon to eat lunch para talagang pagod na kami and relax na lang while eating. We did not reserve seats pero we were seated naman in around 10 minutes. But I still suggest to make reservations.

^It is a good to be there super early and leave after lunch to rest and go back there during the fireworks. That is what most of the parents that we have chitchatted there at Disney are doing.

We did not stay at Disney but the hotels along S Harbor looks ok naman. May malapit na restaurants like iHop so it is good kung bigla kayong nagutom.

Disney is a battlefield so, yes, prepare strategies.

^^pwede naman mag costume ang kids and toddlers basta pag 12 years old and above ang hindi pwede magsuot ng disney costume..

if your budget permits, you can stay at a disney hotel kung gusto ni hubby mo na 4* na hotel. kung budget conscious naman, ok din sa candy cane inn we have stayed here twice na with our kids it's walkable to the main entrance of disneyland and may free shuttle din.. ok naman yung both stays namin dun. madaming hotels dun sa harbor blvd.

pag toddler age ang kids medyo limited ang rides na masasakyan ninyo mostly mga character meet and greet and shows. enjoy!

^^sarsingkit, yes we'll be there 90 minutes early. People start lining up really early pala kasi for Magic Mornings.

^undaunted, still considering Disneyland hotel pero I find it too pricey (around AU$600 per night). Di ko majustify kasi it's not even a 5 star hotel even though it IS a Disney hotel... why konti lang ang rides na masasakyan? Is it because of the height requirement? Kasi if it is, I checked naman and our daughter has definitely reached their requirement ngayon pa lang. So hopefully she can go on a few rides

^your daughter should be fine getting on a lot of rides, if you check the website you'll see that most of the kiddie rides do not have a min height requirement, but that's assuming a parent/guardian rides with the child.
i'm sure she'll have fun.  and be sure to buy her some 'minnie ears' as soon as you get there, it's tradition you know

^^ haha.. what i meant was kayo ni hubby mo hindi makaka ride sa adult rides.. your daughter can ride most of the kiddie rides..mag eenjoy sya for sure

^^thanks TsyLolakins! I'm sure she'll have so much fun too! really so excited for her. My in laws bought her Minnie ears already and she can't stop wearing them even at home. But for sure we'll be doing some souvenir shopping too. I don't know if the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a good experience kasi she'll only be 3 then. But it's an option.

^undaunted, ahhh! We'll just use rider switch, if we really want to go on a ride and our daughter can't but my cousins in LA are going with us so I'm sure there won't be a problem.

just booked our Disneyland accommodation today

we chose Anaheim Desert Inn - I saw a friend's picture and they stayed here rin. Their rooms look updated and quite big, IMO... I asked her if it was good and she said yes and it's just across the Disneyland gate daw. So we were sold.

We have a toddler as I've mentioned so you never know if we had to rush back to our room for something. So having it just across the park is a major plus
