Thank you, thank you, thank you! Tama nga siguro and DIY tour kasi parang mas exciting na kayo yung magpaplan ng itinerary nyo. I think it will also give us more time to explore yung mga places na interested talaga kami. Kasi, di ba if you go with a tour group and a guide, may mga time2 na dapat i-consider? So, salamat sa suggestion.

Planning to go mga summer next year kasi mad mahaba-haba ang vacation time namin. Might go there after Holy Week kasi plan pa namin mag.Surigao and explore the Enchanted River at yung iba pang tourist spots doon. At least, pagdating ng Vigan, change of scenery and atmosphere naman.😉

Anyone here had any experience regarding Joiners Group Tour?

Me and beau are planning to join the joiners group on a tour to Ilocos-Vigan-Pagudpud. Will it be an annoying experience ba or so-so lang?

Any feedback on A Whole New World Travel Express and 8wonders Travel and Tours?

Hi! Do you girls think this 3d2n itinerary is okay?

Day 1 - madaling araw alis ng Manila, then check-in Vigan Hotel*
         - stay in Vigan: Calle Crisologo, Plaza, etc.

Day 2 - checkout Vigan hotel, go up North
          - are these on the way (going to Pagudpud): Bangui Windmills, Marcos Museum, Sand Dunes ? What else do you recommend should be visited along the way?
          - check-in Pagudpud Resort*

Day 3 - stay at resort, swim, etc.
          - check out then go back to Manila


If this is good idea, can you recommend hotels in Vigan and Pagudpud resorts na affordable? Better if family room/dorm type for 10 adults. Thanks

I super enjoyed our trip to Ilocos! My bf nd I spent around 8k each in that trip amd it was so worth it! Went there by plane last Saturday (almost missed our flight because of the APEC dry run, but TYL we arrived just on time, and thank you din sa web check in) and travelled by land and arrived here thursday 12am. I can't think of a highlight of the trip kasi ang dami.
Here's our itinerary:
Saturday night - arrival in laoag
Day 1 - travelled to pagudpud - kabigan falls, patapat, paraiso ni anton (you can miss this), timmantang rock, bantay abot, bangui windmills, cape bojeador, kapurpurawan, pagudpud arch. Then back to laoag
*super lakas ng hangin that time, as in ang sakit sa legs kasi tumatama yung sand. Paid 1500 for the tour kasi hiwalay pala yung cape bojeador and kapurpurawan pero di kami sinabihan ng tour guide prior the booking. When we arrived in pagudpud, dun lang kami sinabihan na iba ang magtour. Okay lang naman kasi nice rin yung brother niya
Day 2 - laoag tour - paid 700 for the tour which includes malacanang of the north, paoay church, marcos museum, ilocos museum (forgot na yung iba eh). Then paid another 1500 for the sand dunes. You can actually skip yung ibang museums kaso sayang kasi yung bayad sa tour guide. I think kaya mahal yung tour is because malayo yung ibang spots
Day 3 - travelled to vigan - supposedly maghire kami ng caritela kaso parang tinamad na rin ako pumunta sa ibang sites like baluarte and hidden garden. Di ko rin naman feel gumawa ng paso at magpunta sa weaving. So pumapara lang kami ng tricycle. We went to bantay bell tower, crisologo museum, calle crisologo and burgos museum then back to hotel to rest. We went outside nung gabi for the light show sa plaza salcedo then to calle crisologo ulit.
Day 4 - back to manila. Left vigan around 130, and arrived here around 12mn.

I fell in love with the place talaga. <3

Hi Sisies. Ask ko lang sana kung ano marerecommend nio na travel agency or package tour for this tour. I know the best ang DIY pero kasi, ayoko na sana ng hassle. Tapos balak ko pang isama yung pamangkin ko na 3 years old kaya hindi kame pwede mag bus. May mga nakikita ako sa net na tig 3,600 na package. Roundtrip van + tour + accommodation na. Our group went to Ilocos last February and we got the services of Parana Tours. It's a complete package which includes transportation, tours and accommodation. The vehicle that we got was a Grandia. Our driver was Kuya Ronald. It was a very comfortable ride because the vehicle is super nice and big. We left Makati at 9pm and arrived at Calle Crisologo before 5am. We had a number of stopovers because according to Kuya Ronald, it was too early for us to be in Calle Crisologo. Parana Tours is very organized and easy to talk to. They have an itinerary which you may edit if you want to remove some places on the list.

Sis, sa tour ba nato is, bale ang hahanda m nalang is food. All in na ba to? And parang nag aact as tour guide nadin ba si kuya roland?

Yes, it's already complete- transportation, tours and accommodation. Kuya Ronald served as our tour guide na. Food and the payment for the sand dunes na lang ang nilabas talaga namin when we were there na. If I remember it correctly, it's 30,000 for ten persons. So it's 3,000 pesos per head.

galing kami ng pagudpud, laoag at vigan nung holidays. super traffic yung papuntang vigan kasi 3 tulay ang ginagawa. 7 am kami umalis sa pagudpud, nakarating kami ng vigan ng 2pm. hindi na tuloy kami nakarating sa falls sa sta. maria. kuya lenzer pa din ang guide namin. loyal lang.

Finally caved in, booked Kuya Arnel for Pagudpud tour next week. So excited...

we visited ilocos just this weekend. 12am Friday kami umalis ng bahay, naka-car kami. after two stops we arrived in candon city around 8am. close yung candon church kaya di kami nakapasok sa loob. so we headed to Bantay church, that was around 10am. nice view for picture taking. and mas mura pala yung mga pasalubong stuff dun compare sa calle crisologo.
after that nag-check-in na kami sa Regencey de Vigan, okay naman yung room, di lang masyado prepared yung mga staff nila. yung towel at slippers wala, nag-request pa ako. pero mababait naman yung mga staff. yung location mismo ng hotel di agad sya makikita kasi sa likod pa sya.
then naglunch kami sa hidden garden, mura pala yung food dun. around 1300 lang binayaran namin 5 pax kami.
in the afternoon nagpunta kami sa calle crisologo that was around 4pm na. til 5pm lang pala yung mga museum dun kaya crisologo mansion lang napasok  namin.
masarap pala yung dirty ice cream dun, its worth a try. kaya pala dami nagtitinda.
then yung palengke, maaga pala nagsasara, dun sana kami bibili ng pasalubong. kaya the next day dun agad first stop namin. pero wala naman pala mga pasalubong stuff dun. buti nalang may nabili na kami kahit pano sa calle crisologo.
then at night we watched the musical fountain show sa plaza. mahaba haba din pala yung show, akala ko saglit lang. and maganda sya ha.
the next day, we went to batac, ilocos norte. we visited the marcos museum, very overwhelming kasi nakita namin kung san nakaburol yung body ni marcos. tuwang tuwa IL's ko at di makaget-over. then last stop namin yung Paoay church then lunch in Herencia.
ang laki rin natipid namin sa transpo, around 2k lang nagastos namin sa gasoline. plus tollgate 1k something. less hassle pa. kasi konti lang pala yung bus na bumibyahe dun coming from vigan going to ilocos norte. konti lang nakikita namin na bus.

Can i ask how did you manage to contact casa consuelo in pagudpud? I sent a mesage via facebook and viber as well as chikka based sa number na nakapost sa facebook page nila kaso wala pa rin reply.  Any other means of contacting them? TIA!

Aside from casa consuelo. . Any other good options of where to stay in pagudpud? Mas okay ba ang blue lagoon beach kaysa sa saud beach?

Sa mga nagpunta sa Sand dunes, nakipag usap na ba kayo in advance sa driver or pwedeng pagdating dun, dun na lang humanap ng available?
