I'm back from a 5-day vacation last weekend. Nag-enoy kaming lahat sa trip na ito Si kuya lenzer ang guide namin sa Day 3-5 pero yung cousin nya sa Day 2 tour.

Day 1- our flight was 7pm pa kaso umalis na kami ng maaga para iwas rush hour. our last travel by plane eh nung 2012 pa going to Cagayan de Oro. Mabuti na lang at may seniors kami kasama kaya madali mag-check-in We arrived in Laoag earlier kaso first time makasakay sa maliit na plane. Hehe...di kami sanay kaya hindi nakaidlip dahil sa ingay. We stayed in the traditional room #2 ng Balay de Blas so nagdinner kami sa Saramsam. Bagnet at pinakbet ang naorder namin kaya busog kaming lahat. Kami yung last dinners kaya solo namin ang 2nd floor

Day 2- Laoag and Vigan
Sinking Bell
Paoay Sand Dunes - me, my brother and a friend, loved the rides, the shore , the slides, the 4x4 and the cliffs!
Malacanan of the North - I remember the Malacanan of the South There were UP Diliman students visiting at the same time.
Marcos museum - Masarap yung chichacorn at taro chips doon so better buy it there. Wala kasi kami nakitang same brand nung nagpunta kami ng Laoag market before we depart on our last day.
Paoay Church - nice weather kaya maganda yung nakuha kong pictures. Herencia Resto served good food. Di kasi kami choosy
Bantay Church and bell tower - may nagpreprenup tapos pagdating sa Calle Crisologo andun din sila
Baluarte ni Singson - konti ang mga puno at maliliit ang damuhan para samga animals
Hidden Garden - there was one statue na naging topic ng selfie dun
Paburnayan - may maingay na tuko na nakikipagsabayan.
Calle Crisologo - we're glad na andun kami without lights at with lights.
Cafe Leona - medyo matagal ang serve nila pero busog lahat kami.

Day 3- Pagudpud
St Williams Church - before we proceed to Pagudpud
Cape Bojeador - good thing that we can climb up near sa lighthouse.
Kapurpurawan Rocks - maiinit that time kaya masarap ang ice candy. Masarap din yung special empanada.
Burgos Windmills - ang dami nila
Bangui Windmills - maraming tourists
Pagudpud - we stayed in Kapuluan Vista Resort. Tahimik ang place at solo namin ang pool Nung gabi ang sarap tumambay sa seashore nila.

Day 4- Relax
Surfing - enjoy sina bro at friend for 1hr surfing costing P400. Habang nag-aaral sila eh nagsusulat naman ako sa buhanginan ng Hannah
Paraiso ni Anton - ang lamig ng tubig
Kabigan Falls - ang sarap ng kwek kwek at fresh juice. Naalala ko tuloy yung falls ng Camiguin
Dos Hermanos Rock Formation - lumalakas na ang hangin at that time kaya nagmamadali na kami.
Bantay Abit Cove - hindi namin napuntahan dahil Amihan.

Day 5- Going Home
We passed by to St Jude Thadeaus Church before kami bumalik ng Laoag. Parang Electric Fan #4 ang amihan sa parte ng Pagudpud. Mainit nga lang pagdating ng Laoag. For sure babalik kami someday to visit the cove at magzipline sa Hannah.

Will be visiting the three places on the first week of 2015 so excited I hope the weather will be photo-friendly though.

excited for our ilocos trip on february. so far, nakapag-reserve na ako sa casa consuelo and hotel luna. i was also able to book mang arnel for our pagudpud tour and jay for the laoag sand dunes.  planning to rent a trike na lang for laoag and vigan tour.

quick question sisses, any hotels that you can recommend sa laoag? price range would be 1500-1800 sana. i was planning to stay on balay da blas but yung cheapest room available nila is 2100 na. okay ba yung laoag renzo? they quoted me 1450 for an overnight stay for 2 pax. tia!

We stayed at Casa Consuelo too and we're very happy with our stay, super accomodating si Richard.  Love ko yung place kase malayo sa crowded area, di lang nga ok mag swim dun sa area dahil mabato pero super lapit mo sa Dos Hermanos na very nice spot for snorkeling.

Sa Laoag, sa Isabel Suites kame nag stay.  They have a new wing which looks better/cozy than the old wing (kung saan kame)

Mga sis question. Malayo ba ang travel time from Ilocos Norte to Ilocos Sur? Like kunyari from Heritage Village punta kami sa Pagudpod?

^nasa gitna po kasi ang Ilocos Norte so 1.5-2hrs going to Vigan and the same travel hours to Pagudpud naman.

hi sissies,

we have booked a flight to mla on feb 19-24 and instead of staying in MLA, we decided to spend the vacation in Ilocos and just spend two days in MLA. We will be going to Ilocos by bus and will look for a package tour for our stay.  Anyone here have tried ILOCOS HERITAGE TOURS & TRAVEL? It's the cheapest so far 3,500/head for 3pax,3D2N with breakfast and complete Ilocandia tour.

It could have been cheaper if we can avail a group tour, the only thing is the tours are scheduled to leave MLA to Ilocos around 10PM on feb 19 and we will be arriving in MLA around 11PM na.

saka maliit lang ba ang vigan?

^Manila to Vigan ba Sis?
around 600.. Not sure with the latest rate. Then ~9 - 10 hours travel time depende sa # of stop over..
Kung maliit ang vigan, typical city lang naman yung laki niya.. You can go North naman para mas marami kang pwedeng puntahan..

Waaahh I miss Ilocos. I've been there last Oct 2014 with friends. Napuntahan namin lahat ng tourist spots sa Vigan, Laoag and Pagudpud. I highly recommend to try the Paoay Sand Dunes. Your Ilocandia escapade wouldn't be complete if you miss it. hehe.

We are in Laoag now and planning to stay overnight here. Bukas ng gabi babalik na kami ng MLA, landtrip. Done with our Vigan tour yesterday, 150 sa kalesa and 700 sa tricycle. Ano mas maganda unahin, samd dunes? or wind mills?
