1. Apply for VUL in Sunlife - I just paid my 1st year premium. Yey!  :D
2. Close all credit cards, clear all utangs.
3. Emergency Fund - I'll do the 52-week challenge by 2nd quarter ng 2015 para makaipon ng emergency fund.
4. Buy stocks thru COL
5. Business Franchise - can do this only after all the above goals. So probably end of 2015.

That's it for 2015, and hopefully ma-achieve ko lahat yan.  ;)

last month, I posted this. Update ko lang since last month of the 1st quarter of 2015 na. I have VUL and COL account na. Yahoo! ;D sana matupad ko na din yung next 3 goals ko.  :) Good luck sa ating lahat!

Put up or invest in a business that will incur a 10k additional income (in progress, doing some research)
Buy a car at the end of the year, although Im willing to postpose this until makahanap ng additional source of income
Continuous buying of shares at least 3k/month
Continue saving 5k/month even when I already have a car

Emergency fund ✔️
Online account for stocks trading ✔️

Hindi ko alam kung magssave na ba ko ngayon ng 200k as my share for a possible wedding in the  future? May gumawa na ba nun dito?

^Magandang plano yan. Rather than magssave ka palang the year while you're planning the wedding na tapos maghahabol para may ipangbayad. Dapat even before magpropose si guy sayo meron ka nang pambayad (same with him) para no pressure and you can just enjoy wedding planning! :)

update on my goals  ;D :

put up a business - in progress, mejo mahirap 'tong part na to. you also have to invest in knowledge kung mejo significant yung investment amount. still in research.
Continuous buying of shares at least 3k/month - check! more than this amount na iniinvest ko monthly & nakakaaddict kaya ...

hindi ko na alamkung stop investing muna ko to give way to this ..

update din ako:

the goal i posted here back in feb 4, 2015 was to save and invest 50% of our combined income (hubby + me).

so far, so good! it's amazing how your expenses decrease talaga if you decide to live on just one income and save the other. because of this we were able to become completely debt free this year, paid off all mortgages, and doubled our emergency reserves. ang sarap ng feeling!

good vibes all around!! CONFETTI! i'm here to say na kayang-kaya talaga natin mag-ipon, mga sis. basta babae ang may hawak ng pera, lumalago :)

our goal going forward is to keep doing this 50% thing and invest those savings more aggressively for retirement. hopefully matupad. sana hindi kami mawalan ng gana. ang takot ko is magsawa ako ng katitipid and ma-derail.

End of First Quarter review:

1. Open a BPI Trade/COL account - check! Opened an account last week
2. Get term insurance - pending
3. Invest more money in our existing business - check!
4. Open a franchise - UNDER REVIEW. Will probably just keep investing more in our existing business instead of opening a new one.

New goals
1. Find and get health insurance for my husband
2. Increase emergency savings

Here's my update

1. Open BPI Trade/COL account - CHECK!

2. Get term insurance - CHECK! Finally got a Manulife term insurance for me and my husband.

3. Invest more money in existing business - CHECK!

4. Open a franchise - CANCELLED. Will just continue with our existing business

5. Find and get health insurance - CANCELLED. Will just have to rely on our employment health benefits, our critical illness riders in our term insurance, and our existing health fund.

6. Increase emergency savings - PENDING

We got sidetracked because of one huge, upcoming expense: our baby! Got pregnant this year. Thankfully we're on track with our target goal, which will cover hospital expenses, minor room renovations, baby's cord blood banking, and baby's needs (clothes, car seat, etc). Hope to achieve it by December.

Whew. Ang saya magbasa ng mga different goals dito and how the ladies here are able to achieve them.

New goal: start saving up for family car
