FINANCIAL GOALS 2015

Mine is:

GOAL
* Set up an emergency fund
* Buy stocks every month.
* Open Mutual Fund intended for my son's College Education
* To have at least 2 Passive Income resources
* To finally start up a business of my own by 2nd Quarter of this year
* To begin a memorial plan

ACTION PLAN
* To trim down at least 20% of our expenses
* To religiously log all expenses and stick to budget
* To plan ahead all required purchases (make a list and stick to it!) to avoid unnecessary spending
* To keep on learning about financial wellness
* To make a timeline and detailed action plan for each goals

Hopefully by end of 2015, i would be able to look back on this thread again at masabi ko na achieve na achieve!

Ultimate goal for this year- save at least 150k/month

1. Save more (hopefully, double my cash savings by year-end) - I really need to shop less!!!
2. Tithe more.
3. Pay half of my existing house loan by year-end.
4. Sell my sleeping asset before end of the year.
5. Hubby to get a better-paying job that will help us pay our liabilities faster.

I just started with this kind of Goal this month.

Good thread and I am aiming for this by the end of the year and so on and so on, HOPEFULLY!

1. Save at least 5% of my salary per cut off.
2. Save extra amount of money if may natira sa salary per cut off.
3. I'll make sure to continue with the 52 week money challenge (5, 20 and 50 increment).
4. Palaguin ang aking COOP savings.
5. Palaguin ang AFPSLAI Savings.

* Mag aaral pa din ng stocks - 5k sana... (dream pa din)

Sa ganyan muna ako mag start... Mahirap mabigla hehhe

For me:

1. Invest in Stock Market thru COL Financial. Stick with the plan of regularly investing in my 2 COL EIP stocks and at the same time follow Truly Rich Club's advices regarding their preferred stocks to be bought!
2. Open a Mutual Fund account in Philequity.
3. Get a life insurance. Though still undecided whether to get a pure life insurance (apply BTID) or a VUL.
4. If there is still time and money, to start investing for my OWN emergency fund.

Well, ilalatag ko na yung goals ko and mga actions ko so far kung paano ko sya maa-achieve..

1. Start my emergency fund - doing this already via 52-week challenge in 20php increments. Made a separate account with the same bank as my payroll account for easy transfer of funds.

2. Grow my capital for my loading business - I started with just 1000php na excess sa 13th month pay ko last year. Ngayon nasa 1300 na ang capital ko for this business. Medyo maliit pero inuunti-unti ko kasi ang paglabas ng pera pandagdag-capital para di masyadong mabigat. Ideal (actually target) capital ko is 4000-5000.

3. Pay off all my loans - December last year I took out a loan from our coop para pantulong sa finances ng family ko. This March na matatapos ang pagbayad -- actually sa June pa sya pero lagi akong naga-advance payment kaya napaaga. But then plano kong kumuha ng isa pang loan after that para naman sa tuition ko sa law school this sem. Same strategy, do advance payments as much as possible para maagang ma-clear ang loan. Baka dito ko na ihulog yung profit ko mula sa loading business ko.

4. Save for independence - I'm planning to move out of my parents' house either before the school year starts or before 2015 ends. For this purpose I'm doing the 52-week money challenge in 50php increments. Medyo nag-backseat nga lang ito ngayon dahil priority ang mabayaran agad ang loan. Since I predict na yung next loan ay hindi na kasing-bigat ng una baka magawa ko na ito alongside the second loan. I'll just catch up na lang sa weeks na hindi ko nagawa. I'll keep this sa savings account ko sa coop.

5. Investment plans - Once matapos ang pagbayad ko sa loan, ire-reserve ko na yung profit sa loading business para maging seed money ko for investments. Will have to decide pa kung sa mutual funds or sa stocks ko sya ilalagay. Or somewhere. Hehe.

Pwede ko na siguro i-lay down ang iba pang financial goals ko kahit hindi sya pang-2015. Actually pang-near future sila, haha! Here it goes:
- Continue saving to sustain my independence (once matuloy)
- Learn different types of investments para makapag-diversify ng portfolio
- Get an insurance (VUL siguro para may investment on the side)
- Build a leisure fund (for travel/shopping purposes)
- Build a fund para sa future plans namin ni BF. Not naman a joint account, more of hiwalay na ipon para anuman ang plans namin together may pang-contribute kami tapos pagsasamahin namin.

1. Apply for VUL in Sunlife - I just paid my 1st year premium. Yey! 
2. Close all credit cards, clear all utangs.
3. Emergency Fund - I'll do the 52-week challenge by 2nd quarter ng 2015 para makaipon ng emergency fund.
4. Buy stocks thru COL
5. Business Franchise - can do this only after all the above goals. So probably end of 2015.
