Hi sissies, we'll be using holi powder for our shoot. It was suggested by our photog. Do you know where I can get original holi powder? There are fake ones daw eh...

Done with our shoot yesterday. Nakakapagod pala mag photoshoot mga sis, lalo na kasi papalit-palit ng damit. But I already saw some pics and ang ganda ng kinalabasan so it's all worth it in the end. ☺

Ang tip ko sa brides who will do their prenups soon, if you're planning to wear contacts, if you can, wear glasses muna 2-3 days before the shoot. Namumula eyes namin ni fiance nung morning ng shoot. Palagi kasi kami naka contacts and parang napagod eyes namin, nahirapan my HMUA magkabit ng falsies dun sa tired eye ko. Buti na lang she has an eye drop na very effective. Nung tanghali buti na lang naging ok na eyes namin. I wore Flexwear Color Blends na Cinnamon yung color, yun yung isa sa pinaka natural looking na contact lens and maganda ang register sa pics.

Also, if you're bringing along an HMUA team, bawat palit ng damit they will re-apply your makeup and fix your hair too, so by the end of the shoot super dami ng makeup sa face mo... so bring a good make up remover! I always use Bifesta which is water-based and I brought a big roll of cotton. Make sure to remove all the make up para makahinga ang pores.

Lastly, drink water from time to time. Painumin na rin ang P/V and HMUA teas pati na rin of course si fiance. Hehe. Napahaba ang post ko but I hope these tips will help you ladies.

^ congrats sis juwie! thanks for the tips. I think your tip about the contacts is really important. mahirap naman kung on the day of the shoot magka problem pa sa eyes. for sure makikita sa photos yun dahil super important element ang eyes sa expression.

Another contact lens tip: practice wearing your contacts at least 2 weeks before the wedding. Applicable to especially sa mga hindi normally nagsusuot ng ganito. At pls don't wear blue or green kasi obvious na peke.

nakita ko yung pinost ni toni and you were so blooming! agree with your tip about contact lenses. naka-flexwear din ako nung wedding since natural nga ang dating nya.

^sakin naman i wore FreshLook contact lenses. Sakto buy 2 take 1 promo sila non so i used the other pairs for 2 weeks para sanayin ko eyes ko with them. Medyo uncomfortable kase parang may cataract ako nung una, lol!!!

Thank you dears f878 and belle_v2g! ☺ I think it was a good thing we pushed thru with the prenup shoot after all, kasi nalaman namin what we need to prepare for the wedding day itself. I'm a bit shy to post our prenup pics hahaha but I think the photog will post some on her website yun na lang papakita ko haha ☺

Another tip: play some music while doing the shoot. Kahit thru your phone lang. It will really help lighten up the mood and will help establish good rapport with your P/V team.

Almost everyday akong naka contacts but your tips make sense. Will try that pag malapit na prenup namin. You look great nga pala  Saw your pic on your mua page

I agree sis juwie, it was also a great thing to have the prenup earlier to know what to improve before the wedding, physically like tummies/braso and many other stuff needed na paliitin/paputiin pa haha, how we project sa camera, the smile which is very impt, the rapport with photogs and hmua para you can be at ease na on the big day, and financially na din kasi gumastos kami out of the budget and now have time to replenish pa

but i'm sure your pictures will turn out beautiful kaya wag ka na mahiyang mag-post. hihi

and yes, magandang experience talaga ang prenup shoot to help prepare you for the wedding day. after ng prenup, medyo nangalay ang panga ko sa kakangiti pero on the day of the wedding, i think nasanay na ko kase kahit todo smile ako all throughout di na ko masyado napagod. though syempre part na din siguro ang wedding high.
