Pre-nuptial pictorial Part 7

^sis berryprincessy, we just paid the boat going to/from Fortune Island.  4500 siya for a day tour which is good for 8 pax na..  Then 300 per pax na landing fee once makarating ka na sa Fortune Island.
Another option naman if you want to sleepover sa island is 6k or 7k yata for the boat..  YUn nga lang if overnight, camping style siya (like Anawangin) kase walang hotel dun.. Bring your own tent ang eksena..
1-hour boat ride siya from the port and need umalis as early as 6:00AM kase maalon na if tanghali na..  Bale, need na rin to do make-up prior to leaving the port if your make-up is airbrush kase wala electricity sa island, as in secluded.  So nag-stay na kami sa Nasugbu the night before the shoot.  Don't worry, marami namag choices for accommodation.  There are nice budget hotels that offer  12-hours stay for as low as Php900 since tutulugan nyo lang naman.  But there are also others high-end accommodations like punta fuego, canyon cove if gusto nyo mag-resort..  Our hmua came at 4:00AM yata then start na ng make-up, then photog came at 5:30AM.  By then, tapos na yung initial touch-up of make-up ko..  Then 6:00AM, we went to Fortune Island na..  They left Manila as early as 2:00AM yata to make it to the call time   We didn't provide them an accomodation na, they said they'd drive na lang early (they have driver I think).  Pagdating sa Fortune Island, dun na kami nagbihis then final touch-up of hair&make-up and change hmua looks din everytime we change clothes..

We finished around 3pm kase medyo maalon na daw according to our bangkero.  Pero if the sea is calm naman, you can leave as late as 5pm

We booked the Nasugbu hotel in advanced sa website, sis berryprincessy.
Our prenup & hmu is already included with the package that we got from our photog and hmua.  But we still spent 45k on the prenup day itself.  OOT fee kase of photog & hmua are almost 10k na then now-hubby and I stayed sa hotel in Nasugubu for 3D2N kase nag-rest muna kami dun after the shoot.. lol!  And i bought gown din kase and hubby naman had a prenup custom-made suit (which is different pa from his wedding suit btw), kaya medyo malaki yung nagastos namin.
I'll PM you sis the breakdown of our expenses vs sa kung ano lang ang essentials.  If you would work on the essentials only, kaya naman siya sa 20k

sis hallerski the 45k you spent for the prenup shoot, kasama na ba outfits niyo dun or no? bulk of what we spent for our shoot was for the outfits. si h2b kasi nagpagawa rin ng suit (& yes, iba rin yun sa suit niya for the wedding lol) for the shoot, 1 whole suit & 1 na coat lang. we had some extra budget left - enough for a prenup video so i decided to avail one. turns out, the video will be shot on a different day pala. so added gastos!! kelangan nanaman bumili ng outfits, maghire ng hmua, food for everyone - hay, sinasabi ko nalang sa sarili ko it'll be worth it in the end buti nalang game pa si h2b for another prenup shoot.

^barbeecue Sis! I might also have both prenup photo and video hehe nauna naman video since that was what we really wanted and we weren't planning to have photos na! But then we had savings and I got tempted to have a small one hehe. I agree hassle noh isa pang HMUA, more outfits, venue rental etc etc! Effort talaga haha. Kaso I've seen a wedding before where the couple had both photo and video prenup pero same day, location and outfits, nakakaumay eh.. so parang i guess ganun talaga. Are your locations super different? Still thinking about mine! Dapat ba ibang look naman from the photos?

My HMUA team din mukhang veterans sa pagpupuyat, they were there at least an hour early and all 4 crew very alive. I am really thankful for suppliers who are willing to sacrifice for these kinds of shoots. God bless them!

Sis sparklingjewel yes hassle to have another one and the gastos that creeps out of nowhere. Hahaha natatawa nalang ako pero sige go lang. Iniisip ko nalang na when we're done with the preps, we'll miss this stage din. Alam mo sis I've seen videos nga wherein shot on the same day yung prenup video & photos - it does get repetitive kasi same outfits & mejo same yung shots. Although if magaling yung p/v team, maganda pa rin naman yung final output. Pero in my opinion, maganda pa rin na shot on a different day & different location yung photos vs video. I got a prenup stylist kasi for the photos. I don't wanna get a prenup stylist ulit for the video, depleted na funds ko hahaha! But my stylist does makeup also so siya ulit kunin ko for my prenup video. She told me naman I could ask her for styling advice parin for the video & she'll still lend me clothes & help me on the day. Really very nice of her I'm thinking mix & match some of h2b's outfits? Pero hindi rin maiiwasan to buy some clothes... For mine & yours narin sis we might need a new set of outfits talaga hehe. If ever, I might reuse 1 layout lang from the prenup photos. Our venues are super different sis. For the photos I chose an artsy cafe. I wanted kasi an indoor venue in case it rains. For the prenup video, my p/v team are suggesting a grassy & spacious outdoor area. So we might do that up in the mountains.

We just had our prenup last week and I'm still on a high =)

We're blessed to have a very talented and humble photographer with us, kahit camera-shy kami pero ni H2B, maganda yung output. Most of the ideas were from our photog din and we're very happy na same wavelength kami when it comes to concepts.

Some tips:
- I didn't bring a MUA with me, but I had my brows fixed and tinted. I should have had my eyelashes permed but I didn't had the time. If you'll be going without one, easier to do the makeup pag okay na ang lashes and brows

- I wish I had regular facials before the shoot, if you can include that in the preps, do so.

- If you don't have a stylist, have a dress rehearsal with your H2B. Just take pictures of your OOTDs and see if they work well together

- I've read this in B&B's entry today - a little hair color & contacts (not daw hazel kasi it appears red sa pictures) does wonders din.

- Play some music during the shoot, nakakarelax sya

- Don't be too conscious. Smile naturally. Breathe thru your mouth

- Have a good sleep the night before

- Enjoy the day! =)

It was a fun adventure talaga.. We wanted to go to Fortune din kase talaga kaya we took advantage na rin of the e-sesh.. We put all our things in a big luggage kaya we had a luggage with us in the boat 😁
Kuddos to these suppliers na super puyat but made it on time or even earlier pa..

^try rave forest pasig, la mesa ecopark and wild life in QC. I just don't know kung pwedeng magkabit ng swing sa puno

We had our engagement shoot just this Tuesday lang and it was really a fun experience    Honestly, eto yung pinaka least favorite namin i-plan kaya mejo late na kami nag shoot hehe.  I just wanted to share some teaser photos during the shoot   We're on a budget but I gotta say the photos turned out great! and sobrang ok din if you have great rapport with the photographers who's doing the shoot.  For us we had Wedding Campaign and sobrang happy kami with the ouput! Para lang kami naglalaro and our personalities as a couple really stood out sa mga photos.  So buti na lang talaga we pushed thru with having our engagement shoot hehe.

sis simang yes natuwa kami na bumagay yung dress sa 'forest' na venue.  And yung mom ko go lang daw kahit madumihan yung dress haha

sis sparklingjewel malaking accomplishment talaga! we almost decided not to have one! yes wawa dam kami mahirap puntahan in a sense na matraffic sobra sa part ng marikina (we came from the south kase) so dapat mas maaga yung pagpunta.  Then sa venue itself, mga 10minute walk/trekking from parking going to where the cottages are. Pero nag enjoy kami with the view and the scenery kaya we didn't mind the walk. In fact, yung way going to the cottages madami nang picture worthy shots.  Then when we got to the cottages, we rented the first two. And buti na lang yun ang narentahan namin, sobrang bait ng mayari.  Dun na nya kami pinag bihis sa kubo nya.  This was one of the things na sabi nila challenging sa wawa dam, walang bihisan and walang kuryente.  Pero yung may ari let us use their electricity and their kubo   Then maraming venues to shoot.  We rented a balsa to go to the 'forest' area -- which surprisingly has a path going to a really nice, almost hidden waterfall. Lusong kami sa river to get to the waterfall -- pero hanggang paa lang naman yung tubig.  When you get to the falls, may bihisan din pala. All in all para talaga shang adventure.. so many places to discover For us sulit na yung Wawa dam because of its breath taking views, rock formations, rivers, yung ruins.  Even yung balsa ride hindi namin pinalagpas haha nag pictorial kami while riding the balsa kase super ganda ng view. Pero yun lang bring fans kase mainit and wear slippers na pwede pang lusong sa tubig.

sis bonzaigirl yes! sobrang gaang katrabaho nila Troy and Ian and talagang bigay todo sa pag kuha ng pics! may mga buwis buhay moments sila just to get the shot haha!

Congrats on your engagement shoot sis barbeecue and edna_mode. Beautiful ladies and beautiful photos. I'm sure the rest of your pics are amazing. 

Sis edna_mode, madami bang tao sa wawa dam? Okay lang din ba if we have our make up before going sa wawa dam?

sis khalee we scheduled our shoot on a weekday so halos solo namin yung lugar.. pero in terms of sa dami ng tao, mga residents ang karamihan. pero they won't bother you naman.  Parang sanay na sila na may nag sh-shoot hehe. Wala kaming kasabay na nag sh-shoot. Kami lang talga yung andun.  Sa make up naman, I had it done before leaving the house.  Then pagdating sa venue retouch na lang.  Yung hair din naka set na before leaving.  For the hair, ni-plan namin kung pano ie-execute yung different hairstyles -- like yung updo muna then yung half-up na hair then finally yung naka laglag na yung hair para at least ma preserve yung waves/curls.... kaya lang di din nasunod haha.. pero at least just to give you lang an idea

oh and tip lang din, if you will be wearing dress or long dress sa shoot, wear leggings na or cycling shorts para hindi na hassle mag change ng clothes and also kahit i-pull up mo yung skirt while trekking, hindi dyahe

^Thank you so much for sharing all your tips! I've ever been to Wawa Dam but have seen lots of prenup photos from there. Kaya I was also wondering the same thing, hindi ba madaming couples or tao na dun since popular prenup site na sya, hehe. Glad to know na ok padin pag weekdays.

Parang im interested in the forest area more than the river part sis. How exactly do you get to the forest area? And doon wala nang bihisan/ cottages right?

sis sparklingjewel we got to the forest area by riding the balsa nasa kabilang side kasi sha.  You could trek kaso malayo.  Balsa ride through the river will get you there faster. Malapit lang naman.. mga less than 5 minutes lang yun.  Although it will cost about P300 for the rent ng balsa.  Pero worth it na din kasi si manong ang taga turo ng mga nice spots na pwede mag shoot hehe.  And tama sis, walang bihisan sa may forest area, pero the trees are evenly spaced and you can probably use them to set up a makeshift change area by using sarongs or blankets
