^planeticymars - You are heaven sent sis! I've been looking for a sushi bar supplier but unfortunately im having a hard time looking for one. Do you have an idea about the rates? Do they set up their own station on the buffet area? How does it goes? And lastly do you have a contact number for them?

Hello mga sis!! Tapos na yung wedding namin last Jan 7. Gusto ko lang share yung cocktail food namin baka ma-consider nyo since super nagustuhan ng mga guests namin! More on cheese and meat since yung theme namin Romantic Vineyard.

- Jamon Serrano with Papaya/Melon from Caterer
- Grapes
- Prosciutto, Salami, Canadian Bacon
- Gouda, Brie, Fontina
- Crackers
- Chips/Nuts (Sweet and Salted)
- Sangria

Binili namin yung cheese and meat sa Rustan's the rest S&R and SM Supermarket!

We only have  1 appetizer as part of our package ( Josiah?s) and it?s kani salad in melba toast ( our lechon kasi will be served during the dinner proper)  so I asked Josiah?s to if they can provide containers for our mini-cocktail bar and I will provide the additional goodies.  I bought na and sent these goodies to Pinas,  I hope they are enough:
- M&Ms pastel colored (was on sale during the easter season)
- Potato chips
- Tortilla chips (similar to tostitos)
- cheese , spicy tomato and guacamole dips
- Strawberries and cream (white choco with strawberry creme) truffles
- chocolate pralines
- chocolate chip cookies
-pretzels  and aperitif crackers
-lotus speculoos cookies

 Naghunt talaga ako ng food sale dito and I checked the expiration dates para swak. I set my budget for these  na 100 Euros lang and swak naman.

We have a separate children?s table good for 15 kids, and I prepared a loot bag (for twenty) for these kids containing  small, kids sizes of haribo/chocolate  chip cookies/small packs of doritos/kinder chocolates/butter cookies plus a gift of a pez dispenser with cartoon characters.  Nakaaliw gawin yung loot bag ng kids, bet na bet ko tuloy ang children?s parties.

Not sure if it's just me but I dislike chips and sweets being served during cocktails.

About your cocktail bar @letters_to_cleo, I think okay naman sya considering may filling appetizer ka na from your caterer.

We had 2 food carts (flavored fries and corn in a cup) plus a nacho bar (with set-up; c/o our friend) for our wedding cocktails. Josiah's served cucumber juice (freebie) and the nacho bar provided blue lemonade. Our caterer was Josiah's but we no longer availed of their cocktail food kasi feeling ko super kulang nya. So we just negotiated for a dessert bar to offset yung di namin pagkuha ng cocktail food. Natuwa naman yung guests namin dun sa food and sabi nila, sa labas pa lang daw, busog na sila. And outside the church din, after the ceremony, nagpamigay kami ng snack bags na may water, crackers and mints. Ayaw ko lang talaga may marinig na nagutom sila kasi may naattend-an ako before, nuts and parang chex mix lang sinerve tapos yun dinner halos 8pm na naserve.  Hehe.
