Went to a wedding na binigay nila was Slammin' burgers for cocktail hour, they had the booth and everything setup, sakto yung 1 serving ng burgers and drink nila for 1-1.5 hour wait.

For lechon naman in another wedding. they ordered 5 pcs. 2 for cocktail hour, 3 for dinner pero different flavors. Leonardos lechon i think was the name on the box

yung cocktail lechon, had herbs, potatoes, sausages and bacon along with the meat. they served it in pandesals along with the sauce.

yung dinner lechon naman was cebu style.

All lechons arrived na chopped na yung meat pero whole pa yung skin. they call it "party chopped" ata. it made it easy to serve agad sa guests

Wow! Slammin' Burgers is one of my comfort food. I didn't know pwede syang pang-cocktail.. Noted! 

Has anyone tried potato corner sa cocktail hour? Para sana ma-enjoy din pati ng mga kids and kids-at-heart. Though a bit messy lang with all the flavoring powder.

^^Hi sis, 5 pcs lechon, you mean 5 whole lechon already chopped? or just 5 pcs like a big packaging of sort? If 5 whole lechon, as in whoa that's like 50k na.

That's nice may naoorder na palang already chopped, sa K by C na lechon, may carving station pa na need bayaran in addition to lechon.

^Yes, 5 orders of lechon chopped na. but only the meat part. When you open the package nila. it looks like a whole lechon pa kasi since they didnt chop the skin. Para syang treasure chest nga, na when you cut the skin on top.. its chopped na pala underneath. so you just pickup the meat na agad.

 it was easy to serve, no mess or noisy chopping. The lechon were pretty large size, 1 lechon was good for around 100ppl yata as a dinner entree with the other meats. (i counted mga 300 guests kami) They told us it was mga 9k nga for that size lechon na cebu style, chopped, and delivered.  Safe to say we were in lechon heaven that night. hehe

We had ours in either in a pandesal or dinner roll with the sauce. kinda like a pinoy slider.

In provincial weddings, they serve it with pansit sotanghon or puto. mmm.... ube puto hehe

Napaisip din ako sa lechon pero mukhang di applicable sa mga guest ko 50% of them feeling ko nasa healthy diet and may 50% lang yung makakaapreciate. But i will be serving lechon on dinner ayoko sana pero during ft may brother told me na its a tradition na. Im thinking of serving during cocktail raclette, or food cart hindi ko pa maisip. Meron  na ako food from caterer na mga 4 finger food so parang ad on nalang.

We will be finalizing our Food for cocktail with Juan Carlo. We are to choose 3 so we want to try Mediterranian Spicy Chicken Wings, Tuna Melt Crossini, Bruschettas with Cheese, Tomato and Basil.

We will also be serving lechon as an appetizer during cocktail hour since JC gave  carving station for Lechon or Roast Beef as a freebie - with assigned person to chop na rin.

Tagaytay wedding ako sa December, garden wedding tapos indoor venue.

Saan niyo sineserve ang cocktails niyo? hindi ko alam kung sa garden ako o kaya sa indoor.
may strings din ako nyan, rustic ang theme ko pero Filipino food ang forte ng caterer ko.

Cocktail hour food ideas na I'm set is sushi! Because we love sushi ( me and my h2b) and I will be getting my former boss' sushi sets. If you are a Tagaytay bride you can check out Shogun Sushi Sta Rosa and he is from Sta Rosa super near Tagaytay. He even customizes sushi for you and names it after you hehe.. and of course the taste is so divine. He's a sushi chef from LA and moved back home na. Idk how to post links but you can search him in FB.  I may add popcorn and bruchettas but still thinkin.

hi sis pinkmoscato, K by C din ako, i availed 4 cocktails from them at grabe ang feedback na busog na busog na sila. Sa pagkakaalala ko may natira pa nga eh. May lechon din akong kinuha kay KbyC served din during cocktail. At lagi kong naririnig sa guests na ang sarap daw lahat ng food, most specially the lechon.

Yung separate ko lang na kinuha is candy buffet from my OTD coord, nasimot din daw. They are not exactly all candies but mga mochis, pretzels, mint, gummy worms, snickers, wafer and the like.

Btw girls, if any of you likes salted egg potato chips, may salted egg potato chips food cart na si symphony house of flavors. Its 5k for 100 pax though naisip ko cheaper if I just buy salted egg chips then just have my caterer serve it.

May natira pang lechon from the cocktail so yes, sineserve pa rin yung lechon until dinner proper The bread, salad and soup were not served din during cocktails kasi sa appetizers pa lang busog na busog na sila. Haba kasi ng waiting time kaya sinadya ko na damihan. I have 4 main dishes
