@sis beijhing - sorry sis late reply. Yung is kong friend sis bale 4 pax sila, 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 6 years old). Kinuha nilang room is triple bedroom and ang ginawa nila is silang dalawa na adult is sa double bed while the kids are in the single bed. Wala naman sis naging problema sa Merryland.

@sis glacy_rein - i have not tried goldencrown but i already tried cosmic guesthouse. Good thing di namin na-experienced nabasa naming rants regarding cosmic. Go for goldencrown na sis.

Just got back from a 3 day trip in HK.  It was 16-20, but with windchill at about 12-15.  We went to Citygate on our first day, Disney the whole day on our 2nd day, then got home.  Masaya, malamig.   We stayed in hollywood Disney hotel pala.

^^thanks sis omneecka. may nagawa kasi ako katangahan na parang hindi ko na pwedeng bawiin yung reservations ko sa Merryland.

may mga naka-try na ba sa inyo ng tour with an agency mga sis. my brother suggested na mag-agency na lang kami lalo na we are all busy sa work kaya walang maka-tutok talaga sa paggawa ng itinerary namin. para hindi na rin daw hassle sa pag-commute specially with my mom na medyo hirap maglakad and my 6yr old daughter. baka may mai-suggest din kayong trusted, reliable and affordable tours na agency help po please. TIA

excited na pumuntang hk this thursday. We will be staying in GC and exit in Macau.3d2n lang kami.. mas ok ba na magwithdraw nalang sa atm or magpa exchange pa from usd to hkd. Parang hassle na kasi magpaexchange..

regarding the ferry naman 2 lang pala sya either Turbo Jet at Cotai pero si Cotai may bayad ang luggage tama ba?? average kasi tig-iisa kame ng bagahe lahat.. and to go sa GC macau-kowloon / kowloon-macau ang dapat na kunin right?? pwede ba ito ibook online??

may promo si Cotai na 15% sa mastercard holders kaso sa nabasa ko na may bayad yung luggage edi ganun din??

^we rode cotai first class when we went from kowloon to macau last March and there was no payment naman for the luggage. exit namin nun was macau e.

just got back from hk. we stayed at Marco polo in harbourcity and our room has a fantastic view of Victoria harbour. we rode the airport express train round trip. We didn't avail na lang of the hotel's shuttle coz of time constraint. at least with the airport express, 20 minutes lang to and from airport and hotel. as usual, went malling at ifc and landmark in central, ikea, sogo and f21 in causeway, Mira, k11 and i-square at Nathan road, and of course, silvercord, dfs galleria and harbourcity in canton. sayang lang kasi di ako nakapunta ng ap lei chau coz my feet was hurting on all that walking. weather is cold (around 15-19 Celsius) but nakayanan naman with only my leather jacket or wool trench coat and leather boots and basically 2 layers of thermal tops and tights or leggings underneath. grabe ang end of season sale and it's really amusing seeing Chinese mainlanders queueing at lv, chanel, Hermes and Rolex shops. parang mauubusan ng stocks at limitless ang kaperahan!

^initially I bought 2 single journey tickets to Kowloon station upon consultation with the concierge of the Marco polo booth at the arrival area. then we transferred to the K2 bus provided free by the airport express and it brought us directly to Marco polo after stopping at gateway hotel and Marco Polo prince hotel. on the day of our departure, the Marco Polo shuttle took us to the Kowloon station and I bought 2 single journey tickets for the airport. I almost bought tickets online on the eve of our departure but at the time I have yet to consult with the transport service of the hotel. the airport express is the quickest and most convenient way to and from the airport. pricey nga lang.

Apr 23 - arrive macau, ferry to HK, check in/leave luggage then straight to Madame Tussauds+Peak Tram+Sky Pass (may promo sa website na combo 2in1 or 3in1, konti lang difference ok ba to mga sis?

eto na... di ko na alam if ano pwede idagdag.. like yung city tour? first time traveller yung friends ko na 4 kaya sinusulit namen... Planning to get the tickets in GC din, yung The Peak tickets iba pa sa Tram Pass? sorry hindi ko pa na-experience magDIY dito sa HK

also the octopus card for train? sabe ng sister ko manageable to commute here, where to get it easily? Thanks mga sis!

We were at HK last 27-29 January. Sobrang bitin nga ang 3 days. First flight in and last flight out na yan ah.

Just some tips and comments siguro:
-Ganda ng rate sa GC, 7.7HKD/USD
-Haba ng pila sa Tram, kahit pinapakita na namin na may tickets kami, ayaw kaming papasukin nung isang staff. Buti nagtawag yung isa pang staff at nakapasok na kami.
-Tram - try to sit on the right side nga.
-Madamme Tussaud's - hindi ako masyadong natuwa dahil hindi ko kilala yung iba, pero okay na rin.
-Sky Terrace - medyo foggy and SUPER COLD! Hapon na ito ah siguro mga 1pm? Ang windy, hindi namin kinaya, konting picture lang tapos baba na. Di tuloy namin masyado na-enjoy.
-In general, di ako masyado natuwa sa The Peak.

-BF and I went to Sneaker Street. Overwhelming yung stocks nila. Wala rin kaming nabili. Parang same naman halos price dito sa Philippines. Sabi lang niya may konting difference sa Nike. Hehe. Yung Dr. Martens tho parang ganun din.

-Watched the Symphony of Lights, medyo disappointing siya. Nothing really special. Hindi namin malaman kung kasali ba yung building o sadyang umiilaw lang siya. Lol. But it was an okay break from all the walking.

-Had dinner at Australian Dairy (?) sa may Jordan. Sarap ng scrambled eggs AND THE STEAMED MILK PUDDING! So yum. Had to take my boyfriend there again the next night. Haha.

-Kung aabutin niyo dulo ng Temple Street from Jordan, balikan niyo na lang yung Jordan station kesa hanapin yung Yau Ma Tei.

-Disneyland! We arrived around 9AM yata, picture picture muna dun sa labas ng train station. Tapos pumila na kami sa entrance. My favorite ride is the Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars! hehe.
-Was able to watch the two parades. I really love the Paint the Night Parade.
-The fireworks, kahit nakakalungkot yung itsura ng castle, maganda pa rin panoorin.

-Checked out at 8:30AM on our last day and left our luggage sa lobby ng floor namin. MTR to Ngong Ping. Wrong move namin is nagbreakfast pa kami sandali sa CityGate. Pagdating namin sa Cable Car terminal, ang haba ng pila! Siguro mga 1 hour kami nakapila.
-Before 4PM nasa Tung Chung na ulit kami. Take note, 9:55 ang flight namin so we needed to be at the airport ng 6:55. Nagpunta pa sa CityGate grocery friends ko. Mga 4:30 na kami nakaalis sa Tung Chung going to TST. Pagdating, pack agad ng mga pasalubong.
-Dahil merong family na same flight samin na naghihintay sa lobby ng floor namin sa GC, sabi ko sa mga kasama ko mauna na kami sa bus station para di masikip. hehe.

WEATHER. Temp: 17-20C nung andun kami.
-Ginawin ako. Other times, sakto lang na naka-jacket, pero sa Disneyland, kinailangan ko yung jacket most of the time, except nung 11am na na medyo mataas araw, kinailangan ko tanggalin jacket ko.
-Ngong Ping: sobrang init! Ang taas ng sikat ng araw nung andun kami so tinanggal ko jacket ko. Pinagpawisan pa ata ako. LOL.

General comment: 3 days is not enough!!! Hahaha. Wala ako talagang time pumunta sa malls or outlets. Nalungkot ako. Haha. Four days is a must for first timers, unless you only intend to visit Disneyland and shopping on other days.

Will definitely come back for more Disneyland, and then OP and shopping! Hahahaha!

^Thanks sa update sis. Will be in HK this Thursday. First intl trip. Excited much na. Worth it pa bang bumili ng ticket for the peak? Nagpareserve kasi ako ng ticket sa GC but im planning na DYI na lang. Magtramway paakyat din bus pababa, tapos kung mahaba pila sa Madamme Tussaud, di nalang kami papasok.

1.) April 23:
What time arrival nyo sa HK? For me, ok na ang 3-in-1 ng the peak, madame tussaud, and peak tram especially if 1st timers kayo. Until what time din kayo sa The Peak? If before 8 PM nasa TST na kayo, pwede kayong manood ng Symphony of Lights and daan na rin kayo sa Avenue of Stars since magkatabi lang yan.

2.) April 24:
If kaya ng energy nyo pwede kayong mag-Ngong Ping 360 and Giant Buddha. Avail nyo na ticket sa GC is yung two-way crystal cabin. Bukod sa maganda pag crystal cabin, mas maikli pila dito. Picture-picture and akyat sa Giant Buddha wont take u 2 hours. Tapos before lunch balik na kayo Tung Chung then proceed na kayo sa Disneyland. After Disneyland if may energy pa, direcho na kayo Mongkok for souvenirs. May pagka-amazing race ang peg nyo dito.

3.) April 25:
Dito mas kailangan nyo ng energy kasi extreme rides and mas malaki ito kesa disneyland. Pwedeng dito nyo rin isingit ang Mongkok if di na talaga kaya sa 24.

4.) April 26:
What time balik nyo ng Macau?

If you need to exchange money from peso to HKD, maganda palitan sa Standard Money Changer sa Mirador Mansion, 1 building apart lang sila ni GC.

^Apr 23 - sis mga lunch andun na kame. Madame Tussauds im sure hindi to ganun kalaki (i've been to UK Madame Tussauds and even dun tabi tabi na lahat ng wax figures, parang 5hrs max na stay dun) so I assume mga 3hrs ok na kame and then yeah photo ops sa iba, what time ba sis yung symphony of lights? Avenue of stars ito yung mga stars na may name db??

Apr 24 - two-way crystal cabin?? hindi ba matao sa Disneyland nito? plano ko pa naman maagang maaga dun! haha!

Apr 25 - yes malaki nga to dito maagang maaga na? baka pagod ndn for mongkok..

apr 26 - anytime sis wala pa kameng ticket.. better ba bilhin online na? turbojet walang bayad luggage?

we plan to get the HKDs na here tapos if not enough saka papalit USD dun.. take note ko din yan sis thanks sa PM din..
